They went in groups today, starting with Harry, Ron and Hermione, of course because of the owls and cats they were holding.

They leaned leisurely against the partition wall, chatting casually, and then slipped sideways through the wall.

Lamia waited until they were all gone before pushing the luggage cart in.

The Hogwarts Express had already stopped there. It was a crimson steam locomotive that was spewing out thick smoke. Through the smoke, the many Hogwarts students and parents on the platform looked like dark ghosts.

Piglet heard the hooting of many owls in the smoke and hooted back, making the noise even louder than before. Lamia followed Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they began to look for seats and soon had their luggage in a compartment on the train.

Then they hopped back onto the platform and said goodbye to Mrs. Weasley, Bill, and Charlie.

"Maybe I'll see you all soon," Charlie said with a smile as he hugged Ginny and said goodbye.

"Why?" Fred asked eagerly.

"You'll find out," Charlie said, "Don't tell Percy I mentioned this... You know, this is 'top secret information, and it will not be released until the Ministry of Magic sees fit'."

"Oh, I really hope I can go back to Hogwarts this year," said Bill, with his hands in his pockets, looking at the train with a sad look on his face.

"Why?" George asked impatiently.

"You're going to have an interesting year," Bill said, his eyes twinkling. "I might take some time off to watch some of it..."

"Part of what?" asked Ron.

Lamia had a feeling these people were hiding something, and she pricked up her ears, hoping it was something good.

But just then the whistle blew and Mrs. Weasley rushed them towards the car door.

"Thank you for letting us stay, Mrs. Weasley," said Hermione, and she took Lamia's hand and they both waved at Mrs. Weasley.

By this time they were on the train, the doors shut, and Hermione was leaning out of the window to speak to Mrs. Weasley.

"Yes, thank you for everything, Mrs. Weasley," Lamia said and Harry nodded in agreement, he really liked Ron's family.

"Oh, my dear, whenever you want to come back, this is your home." Mrs. Weasley wiped away her tears excitedly. She looked at Lamia with heartache, as if she was someone who had a hard life.

"Actually," said Mrs. Weasley hesitantly, "I'd like to invite you to Christmas, but... I suppose you'd all prefer to stay at Hogwarts, for... one reason or another."

"Mum!" Ron said irritably, "What on earth is going on that you three know about it and you're hiding it from us?"

"I reckon you'll find out tonight," said Mrs. Weasley, smiling. "It's going to be very exciting - and I tell you, I'm so glad they've changed the rules -"

"What rules?" Harry, Ron, Fred and George asked at the same time.

"I'm sure Professor Dumbledore will tell you... Now, behave yourself, you know? Do you hear me, Fred? And you, George?"

The engine's pistons hissed loudly and the train started moving.

"Tell us what's going on at Hogwarts!" Fred shouted out the window as Mrs. Weasley, Bill, and Charlie sped away. "What bylaws have they changed?"

But Mrs. Weasley just smiled and waved, and before the train turned the corner she, Bill and Charlie Disapparated away.

Lamia, Harry, Ron, and Hermione returned to their compartment. The heavy raindrops pattered against the glass windows, making it difficult for them to see the scenery outside.

Lamia has been completely separated from her academy. She was ruthlessly squeezed out by the group of little snakes. Now she seems to be a lonely person without an academy.

But Lamia didn't care at all. Her purpose of coming to this school was not to get along well with a group of little wizards.

……

After entering, Ron immediately opened his box, took out a piece of clothing from it and covered the piglet's cage - its screams were too noisy.

"Bagman was willing to tell us what happened at Hogwarts," said Ron glumly, sitting down next to Harry. "Remember, at the World Cup? But my own mother wouldn't tell us. I don't know—"

"Hush!" Hermione whispered suddenly, putting a finger to her lips and pointing to the compartment next to them. Harry and Ron listened carefully and heard a familiar drawl drift in through the open doorway.

"…You know, Father actually considered sending me to Durmstrang instead of Hogwarts. He knew the headmaster there.

Well, you know what he thought of Dumbledore—the man was too fond of Mudbloods—and Durmstrang wouldn't allow any of those rotten kids in.

But my mother didn't want me to go to school so far away. My father said that Durmstrang's attitude towards the Dark Arts is much more reasonable than Hogwarts. The students at Durmstrang really study the Dark Arts, unlike us who learn some crappy Defense Arts..."

Lamia narrowed her eyes.

Hermione understood what he meant. She stood up, tiptoed to the compartment door, and gently closed it to prevent Draco's voice from coming in.

"So he thinks Durmstrang would suit him better?" said Hermione angrily. "I wish he had gone there so we wouldn't have to put up with him."

"Is Durmstrang a wizarding school too?" asked Harry.

"Yes," said Hermione with a snort. "It has a terrible reputation. According to the European Assessment of Magical Education, the school takes the Dark Arts very seriously."

"I think I've heard of it," Ron said vaguely. "Where is it? Which country?"

Lamia shook her head. She had never seen an introduction to this school. Like Hermione, she had only heard of its name. As for the courses and even the address, they knew nothing.

"Well, no one's going to know, are they?" said Hermione, raising her eyebrows.

"Oh - why?" asked Harry.

"There's always fierce competition between the various magic schools. Durmstrang and Beauxbatons are willing to hide their locations so that no one can steal their secrets." Hermione answered seriously.

"Don't be ridiculous," said Ron, laughing. "Drmstrang must be about the same size as Hogwarts – how can you hide a big castle?"

"But Hogwarts is hidden," said Hermione, looking a little surprised. "Everyone knows it. Oh, everyone who has read Hogwarts, A History should know it."

"Then it's just you," said Ron. "Go on - how can you hide a castle as big as Hogwarts?"
