After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 232 Accident
"He'll probably be warned," said Mr. Weasley, still taking notes rapidly, his brow furrowed. "Mad-Eye didn't use his wand? He didn't actually attack anyone?"
"I'm sure he jumped out of bed and looked out of the window and took whatever he saw," said Mr. Diggory, "but they can hardly prove it because there was no one killed."
"Okay, I'll be off now," said Mr. Weasley, stuffing the parchment with the records into his mouth, turning around and rushing out of the kitchen again.
Mr. Diggory turned and looked at Mrs. Weasley.
"I'm so sorry, Molly," he said, in a calmer tone, "to bother you so early in the morning... but only Arthur could have excused Mad-Eye and saved him from punishment, and he was to start his new job today. I don't understand why he chose last night..."
"That's all right, Amos," said Mrs. Weasley. "Would you like to have a piece of bread or something before you go?"
"Oh, all right," said Mr Diggory.
Mrs. Weasley took a piece of bread and butter from the pile on the dining table, picked it up with the tongs, and put it into Mr. Diggory's mouth.
"Thank you." He said vaguely, and then there was a slight "puff" sound and he disappeared.
Lamia was even more shocked. Could this be possible? This was beyond her imagination once again. She had never seen such a way to eat breakfast.
Mr. Weasley could be heard saying goodbye loudly to Bill, Charlie, and Percy, and five minutes later he was back in the kitchen, rifling through his hair with a comb, his robes straightened.
"I have to be going now - I wish you all the best this term, children," Mr. Weasley said to Ron, Harry, and Hermione and Lamia on one side, while throwing a cloak over his shoulders and preparing to Apparate. "Molly, will you take the children to King's Cross Station?"
"Of course," she said, "You take care of Mad-Eye, and we'll be fine."
As soon as Mr. Weasley disappeared, Bill and Charlie walked into the kitchen.
"Anyone mentioned Mad-Eye?" Bill asked. "What's he done?"
"He said someone tried to break into his house last night," said Mrs. Weasley.
"Mad-Eye Moody?" mused George, spreading marmalade on his slice of bread. "That madman—"
"Your father thought highly of Mad-Eye Moody," said Mrs. Weasley sternly.
"Yeah, Dad collects plugs, doesn't he?" Fred whispered, after Mrs. Weasley had left the room. "They're the same kind of people..."
"Moody was a great wizard back then," Bill said.
"He's not an old friend of Dumbledore's, is he?" said Charlie.
"Dumbledore isn't what you'd call a normal guy, is he?" said Fred. "I mean, I know he's a genius, he's amazing..."
Harry was about to say something when he was interrupted by Fred's sudden change of subject. He coughed lightly and changed the subject.
"Who's Mad-Eye?" asked Harry.
"He's retired now, he used to work at the Ministry," said Charlie. "I met him once, Dad took me to a place when he and I were working together—
—He's an Auror, arguably the best at, well, catching Dark wizards." He saw the puzzled look on Harry's face and added, "He's filled half the cells in Azkaban. But he's also made a lot of enemies."
Lamia bit the bread and listened attentively to their introduction of this wizard with a bad reputation. It sounded as if this wizard was actually a good person.
"—mainly the relatives of those he captured. I heard that as he got older, he became more and more suspicious and didn't believe in anything. He saw dark wizards everywhere he went."
Charlie continued.
After a while, everyone had finished breakfast and Lamia went upstairs to get her luggage. Mrs. Weasley helped her expand the room again, which made Lamia a little embarrassed.
……
Bill and Charlie decided to see everyone off at King's Cross Station, but Percy apologized repeatedly, saying that he was too busy to go.
"I have no reason to ask for leave at this time," Percy said to them, straightening his back and seeming to speak with pride. "Mr. Crouch is beginning to count on me for many things."
"Yeah, you know, Percy?" said George seriously, "I guess he'll know your name pretty soon."
Everyone covered their mouths and burst into laughter.
Mrs. Weasley mustered up her courage, used the phone at the village post office, and ordered three ordinary Muggle taxis to take them to London.
This was simply Mrs. Weasley's bravest act. She had always been afraid to get close to Muggles, even though Mr. Weasley often boasted about the wisdom of Muggles in front of her, but she still couldn't believe in those high technologies.
"Arthur wanted to borrow the Ministry's car to take us," Mrs. Weasley whispered to Lamia as they stood in the rain-splattered courtyard, watching the taxi driver load six heavy Hogwarts trunks into his cab. "But the Ministry's car couldn't be free... Oh dear, they don't look too happy, do they?"
Even though Lamia didn't understand the lives of these Muggles, she had spent some time in an orphanage, so it was easy for her to see the impatience of the Muggle drivers.
After all, they seldom transported frantic owls, and the piglet was making such a racket that it was deafening.
Not to mention that Fred's box suddenly bounced open, and the magical fireworks that bloomed on the water unexpectedly exploded, scaring the driver who was moving the box and making him scream. At this time, Crookshanks used his sharp claws to climb up the man's thigh, adding some pain to his scream.
The scene was so horrific that Lamia wanted to call Ern to take them to the station, but the business at the theater was too busy and Ern was too busy to take them.
The journey was very uncomfortable as we were all squeezed in the back of the taxi with all those boxes.
Crookshanks was frightened by the fireworks and took a long time to recover. When the car drove into London, Harry, Ron, and even Lamia were scratched, but under Hermione's protection, not even a hair was lost. However, Lamia's wound only lasted less than two minutes.
When they got off the train at King's Cross Station, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Although the rain was even heavier than before and poured down on them, they were finally away from this dangerous train.
They carried their suitcases across the busy street and into the station, all soaking wet.
By now, Lamia was accustomed to being on Platform 9 and 3/4.
Actually, it's very easy. All you have to do is walk straight through the seemingly solid wall that separates platforms nine and ten.
The only thing to be careful about is doing it inconspicuously so as not to attract the attention of Muggles.
