Legend of Mir 2: Seeking the Truth in Marfa
Chapter 63: Hall of Tyrants
The monsters on the Thunder Road were mainly Stone Tomb Monsters, and there were not many of them. The two chose the second path, running along the straight road, and even if they encountered the White Boar Leader, they ignored him.
The road wasn't very long, and it would take about 10 minutes to reach the exit. Suddenly, a massive wild boar appeared around the corner. Its body was colorful and massive, a head taller than the white boar leader. It held a massive axe, much like the purgatory used by warriors. Its mouth had a pair of tusks, and it breathed heavily, "Hmm~Hmm~." It was none other than the Iris Pig Guard.
I'm lucky to have met you so soon.
"Clear the small monsters first."
The two of them cleared out all the monsters chasing them, leaving a small area around them, enough to deal with the Rainbow Demon Pig Guards.
Brooke approaches Iris Pigguard, uses his mind to reveal his poison, and Pigguard begins to walk towards them.
Rainbow Boar Guard: 1500 HP, 40-60 Attack, 20 Defense, 20 Magic Resistance. Moves at the same speed as the White Boar Leader, melee attacks. Has half the HP of the White Boar, but is otherwise average.
Such a monster is not difficult for Brook and the others to deal with, as long as they keep a good distance.
Brook let Xiaobai go up to fight, and the two stood on either side, using kite tactics to pull the Iris Pig Guard back and forth. Soon the Iris Pig Guard was killed, and a pile of equipment items exploded on the ground.
1 Warrior's Dragon Ring: Attack 0-5, requires 37 attack power.
There is also 1 Rainbow Demon Bracelet: Taoism 0-2, required level 33.
This Rainbow Demon Bracelet looked ordinary, but the level requirement was 33, which was a bit strange. Brook put it away first.
Seeing the Dragon Ring, Brook remembered he had another one in his backpack. He took it out and gave it to Xiaobai. There was also a regular Ares armor on the ground, so he picked it up and gave it to Xiaobai as well.
Bayin was extremely surprised. Xiaobai could actually wear equipment?!
Brook chuckled and told Bayin to keep it a secret for now. Bayin and he were the only ones in the Demon Sealed Cave, so the secret of Xiaobai being able to wear the equipment wouldn't be discovered by anyone else. He could just put the War God Armor away when he returned to the city.
After changing his equipment, Xiaobai's attack power is 10-60, defense is 24, and magic defense is 15. His strength has increased a lot.
Brook picked up a sharp saber from the ground, sawed off the two fangs of the Iris Pig Guard, and put them into his backpack.
While Brook was cleaning up the pig guard's tusks, Bayin had already picked up the items on the ground. The two continued along the road.
After two minutes, they finally saw a door. However, there were many common monsters nearby, including wild boars, black maggots, and horn flies. It took them another two minutes to clear them all out.
Twenty minutes had passed since he left the Demon Sealing Palace. Brook decisively stepped inside.
Brook immediately turned invisible. This was indeed the Hall of Tyrants. Master's map was very accurate.
The entrance was surrounded by demonic beasts. The terrain was excellent, with only three demonic beasts surrounding it. Furthermore, there were no wedge moths in the innermost circle, so none of them noticed the invisible Brook. However, a few wedge moths on the outer edge, sensing the human presence, fluttered their wings and squeezed in, but they couldn't get through.
"Come in," Brook said. Bayin walked in and stood in Brook's place. It was a bit crowded, but it didn't affect his spellcasting.
Brook immediately became invisible.
"This is a good location." Bayin began to carefully release the wall of fire, so as not to let it hurt the three monsters surrounding them.
Bayin, at level 31, had already upgraded her Fire Wall skill to level 2. With her high mana of 9-40, each fire wall attack dealt around 30 damage. The monsters in the Hegemon's Hall were all Stone Tomb monsters, not very intelligent, and didn't know how to dodge the Fire Wall. They wandered around the fire and were quickly cleared out.
The three small monsters that acted as human walls around him were no longer useful, so Brook summoned Xiaobai over and they worked together to kill them.
The two of them worked in perfect harmony, like roasting a pig in a stone tomb. Bayin moved to the right corner and continued to lay a wall of fire on the ground. Brook placed Xiaobai in front of Bayin and went out to lure the monsters.
A large group of demonic beasts followed Brook. The wedge moths and black maggots were the fastest and followed closely; their HP was also relatively low, at just over 220. They barely struggled in the wall of fire before being reduced to ash. The scorpion snakes, red boars, and black boars that followed were also quickly incinerated, becoming experience points for the two men.
Brook didn't even glance at the equipment that had fallen to the ground, continuing to lure monsters. The Domination Hall was a rectangular shape, with the entrance and exit perfectly aligned and not far apart. They needed to eliminate as many monsters as possible along the way.
On average, it took 30 seconds to clear a wave of monsters, which was very fast. After clearing 20 waves of monsters, Brook had already arrived at the middle of the Tyrant Hall.
This place was far from the corner and no longer suitable for luring monsters to burn the pig. From here on, the two could only rely on collective invisibility, using lightning and fire talismans to kill step by step.
Kill the wedge moth first, then kill the monster in front; after clearing a distance, the two ran forward one step, and Brook immediately became invisible together; when encountering the white wild boar leader, Bayin used a light of temptation to avoid entanglement with it.
The two walked slowly but steadily forward. When they encountered unexpected situations, Xiaobai would take the lead. With Xiaobai's 25 points of defense, ordinary wild boars could hardly hit him.
Another 15 minutes passed before the two finally saw the exit of the Tyrant Hall. Standing near the exit was a man named Demon Repairman.
Brook and the others continued to clear the monsters and move forward, but they were extremely shocked in their hearts.
This demonic repairman must be the Tyrant Hall merchant the demon veteran had mentioned. But the two couldn't understand why he could stand so calmly amidst the monsters in his human form. He looked like an ordinary merchant, so why didn't the monsters attack him?
The two of them cleared the monsters near the exit with doubts. Finally, the road was completely opened. Brook was the first to reach the exit, followed by Bayin.
Brook used a collective invisibility spell, and the two did not go in. Instead, they looked at the Demon Repairman curiously.
"Hello, young monks. Someone has finally arrived at the Hall of Overlords. Has the Demon Sealing Valley been reopened?" The demon repairman asked first.
"Hello, respected repairman. The Demon Sealing Valley has not yet been opened. The two of us are here to carry out a mission." Brook replied.
"I hope it can be opened soon. There has been no business for many days. By the way, do you two need to buy anything? I have everything here." said the demon repairman.
"Aren't you a repairman? Do you also sell things?" Bayin asked.
"Yes. I sell everything and I can repair everything. If you need to sell items, I will also buy them." The demon repairman nodded.
"Excuse me, why are you here and these monsters don't attack you?" Bayin continued to ask.
"It's just that times are tough and business is tough," the Demon Mechanic sighed and continued, "I was originally a merchant in Demon Sealing City, but competition was fierce. I saw the business opportunities in the Demon Sealing Cave, so I applied to serve the monks. I spent a lot of money to ask the Demon Sealing City Lord to set up a special barrier for me in the Tyrant Hall, so these monsters can't harm me."
It turned out to be the case.
"The Demon Sealing Valley will reopen, and business will definitely pick up," Bayin consoled him. "I happen to have some items to sell, so I'll open a shop for you."
Just now, when a pig was being roasted in the corner of the entrance and Brook went out to lure monsters, Bayin took the time to pick up a lot of equipment.
The Demon Repairman was of course very happy. After all these days, he finally made a sale. He bought the items at half the market price, which still made him a good profit.
Bayin quickly sold out his equipment. Finally, he said to the Demon Repairman, "The Tyrant Hall is home to numerous monsters and boar chieftains. It's also uniquely situated in the heart of the Demon Sealing Caverns. It's sure to attract many adventurers. You have a keen eye, and your business is sure to flourish in the future!"
"Thank you for your good wishes! I also wish you two good luck in your mission." The demon repairman smiled happily, he thought so too.
Brook and Bayin said goodbye to the Demon Repairman and entered the exit to reach the next level.
