HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 161 Deliberately Not Teaching Us

"The training at our academy is really strict. They've been training all day, right?"

As agreed with Senior Wood, this weekend, near nightfall, Narilean stood by the stands of the Quidditch pitch, watching Gryffindor's Quidditch training that Senior Wood had hired with Hermione and Ron. Not long after watching, she sighed.

The team was conducting a practical confrontation training. This time, Harry and the Weasley twins were on one team, and Senior Wood led the other team. The two teams were playing each other, and the fight was brutal. The Weasley twins, as batsmen, could always knock the players of the opposing team out with their bludgers, while Senior Wood, as the goalkeeper, could always defend the goal and return the ball to the enemy team's head.

Nalilian suggested that the more ruthless the attack, the better, but she didn't expect that the Gryffindor team members who had never committed any fouls could be so cruel to their own people.

Most importantly, they can train on this project for a whole day, a real whole day, starting from early morning and continuing until dark.

Nalilian couldn't help but worry about all the team members, especially the substitutes who were found at her suggestion.

"Only strict requirements can train a high-quality team," Hermione said after hearing her words.

Although Senior Wood and the Weasley twins invited Nellie, Nellie did not think she had the temperament to be a coach, so she asked Hermione to join her, and Ron as well.

"And it's always like this. They train all day long. Haven't you noticed?" Hermione continued.

"Is that so?" Narilla narrowed her eyes. She hadn't watched Gryffindor's Quidditch training for a long time and spent most of her time with Hufflepuff.

The Hufflepuff team adheres to the principle of happy education and trains twice a week, each time for no more than half a day. They also have dinner together after training in the name of replenishing the physical and mental strength damaged during training.

Of course, because of the book editing reasons, Kerston and Cedric tried the training methods from the Muggle world literature in the team very early on. The two also cooperated to play tactics, allowing the team to score repeatedly, covering up the fact that the team's training was loose.

Nalilian thought that Gryffindor would at most increase the frequency of training, but she didn't expect Gryffindor to be so stubborn and increase the training time by hundreds of millions.

Ron nodded. "We can tell how miserable they are from Harry's reaction after training. Every time Harry comes back to the dormitory after training, he lies on his bed as if he's passed out. We're always so worried that we touch his nose to feel if he's still breathing."

He shrugged as he spoke, and Nalilian smiled understandingly at his sudden humor.

"Harry is so serious?" Hermione was surprised and turned her eyes from the court to Ron. "I don't usually see him show it."

Although Harry looked very tired after training, he was far from being dead as Ron said.

Nalilian also looked at Ron.

"Of course you don't know," Ron rolled his eyes and mercilessly exposed the miserable situation of his savior brother.

"After training, he would go back to the dorm and fall asleep on the bed. If he got hungry, he would eat a lot of snacks. When he was full, he would go back to sleep until he could no longer sleep the next day."

"One time he slept all day, on the weekend, and we thought he was under a sleeping spell and were about to go get the professor, but Harry woke up."

"What an unhealthy routine," Hermione commented.

"But you can believe it," Ron complained, "Harry still keeps the habit of taking a bath every day."

"If he has to go to class, he can get up and take a shower in the morning even if he trained until late at night the day before."

"And his jersey, he has to wash it after practice."

Hermione frowned, "Isn't that how it should be?"

"How is that possible!" Ron said with a look of disgust, "What boy takes a bath every day?"

Nalilian paused. She thought of Ced and Kerston. She wasn't sure how often they took a bath, but Ced should take a bath every day because every time she got close to him, she could smell the scent of grass and trees on him.

"You have no idea, Harry even washes his shoes now," Ron complained in frustration, "Every day!"

"And his hair, he's going to wash it every day too."

"He even went to ask Seamus about hair care spells. After all, Seamus always had explosions when practicing spells or brewing potions, but his hair was not affected by them."

This made Hermione pause and look at Narilean, who winked at her knowingly.

"About that hair-protecting spell," Hermione interrupted Ron with a serious face, "We want to know that, too."

Ron, interrupted, looked betrayed. "Don't you have any opinions about Harry's behavior?"

"What's your opinion?" Hermione shook her head in disgust. "You don't take a shower every day, and you still dislike Harry?"

Ron rolled his eyes, "Girl."

Nalilian laughed and looked back at the court.

The Quidditch match on the field quickly ended with Harry catching the Golden Snitch. Wood was giving some instructions to the players of both teams, and Narilean spoke up when he saw this.

"It's time for me to go down."

This time, Senior Wood invited her here. First, he wanted her to watch the team's competitive training match and give some opinions. Second, he wanted to ask her for the next training plan.

In fact, Na Lilian had already written a training plan list, and the content of the plan came from the book.

Considering Seth and Kerston, she did not lend the books directly to senior Wood. She wrote them by hand, all out of her own will, which was also responsible to both teams.

"Let me introduce you," Wood announced as Narilla approached. "This is Junior Ende. You should all know her. Her brother is the editor-in-chief of the recently popular book, 'The Advanced Practical Interpretation Guide to Quidditch.' We're very fortunate that she will be our teaching assistant starting today!"

"Oh yeah!" "Great!" The Weasley twins cheered, took out a firework stick they got from somewhere, glanced at Narielian who noticed their actions and waved her hand, then pointed the muzzle of the gun at Wood and pulled it open.

A flock of birds mixed with petals and colored paper flew towards Wood's face. The other team members burst into applause, and Nalilian hurriedly smiled and thanked him.

Wood, whose face was covered with feathers, petals, and colorful paper: "..."

He wiped the stuff off his face and glared at the Weasley twins, but the cunning red-haired twins had already put the spent firework sticks behind their backs and pretended nothing had happened.

Because of Nalilian's presence, Wood couldn't get angry and could only say, "After Ende has seen our training methods this time, she will come up with a training plan for us."

"Yes," Nalilian continued, following up on Senior Wood's words, "I've looked at our team's training. Maybe we need to start by adding some conditioning exercises and core strength training. Everything needs to be done gradually."

She mentioned this in the hope that Senior Wood would understand one thing - they found her relatively late, so they had to start from the basic training programs and add training. The progress could not be compared with the Hufflepuff team who had started systematic training under Cedric's leadership early in the morning.

"Ah?" Senior Wood made a disappointed sound. It was obvious that he didn't understand the meaning.

"Can't we just increase the intensity? You know, our players are all great," he asked seriously, looking at the players around him, hoping that they would give him some support as the captain.

Unfortunately, the Weasley twins looked up at the sky and the earth instead of at him. Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet talked about taking care of their hair later. Their hair was always blown into a mess by the wind when they were chasing the ball on the flying broom. Katie Bell looked at him seriously and nodded. The other substitutes who were drafted by Wood to participate in the competition were sweating profusely and lowered their heads, looking a little tired.

As for Harry, his gleaming Seeker was concentrating on watching the assistant he had found.

He had never seen him so energetic.

To be honest, Harry had performed well all day, and he had just quickly and directly obtained the Golden Snitch to end today's training.

Is it because he is happy that his good friend is coming to be the teaching assistant?

While Wood was lost in thought, one of the boys asked, "Are you deliberately not teaching us because you want Hufflepuff to win?"
