HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob
Chapter 162: Dinner
"Why are you looking at me? Am I wrong?"
The boy who asked such a question attracted the attention of the whole team.
Andrew Kirk, the substitute picked by Wood to bat, was a fourth-year Gryffindor wizard.
He was originally looking at Nalilian with distrust, but when he got everyone's attention, he spoke with his cheeks flushed.
"Isn't it obvious? I heard she's dating the Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain, and she'd really help us—"
"Hey, man!" "Will you shut up?" Before he could finish, Fred and George put their hands on his shoulders, one on each side, and interrupted him.
Nalilian glanced at Senior Wood, trying to figure out how to answer in a way that would save his face.
"According to you," Harry spoke before her, "Na Lilian should have simply rejected Senior Wood's invitation and ignored the team's training."
He looked at the senior and said word by word, "Then why is she standing here helping us now?"
He looked terrible, his chest heaving violently, and his emerald eyes were filled with anger, as if he would rush over and fight the other party if he dared to say a word.
This startled the others, including Wood, as they had never seen Harry, the youngest member of their team, so angry.
George had to stand between Andrew and Harry to prevent either of them from losing control and rushing forward.
"Alright!" Seeing the situation becoming increasingly chaotic, Wood stood in front of Narielian and looked at Andrew, who was surrounded by the Weasley twins. "I invited my schoolmate Ende here. I will fully support all her suggestions."
"If anyone has any objections, they can raise them and can choose to withdraw from the team."
He announced with a serious face, which undoubtedly told everyone that Nalilian was on equal footing with him.
Andrew fell silent, looked at Nallylian unconvincedly, then looked at Harry, and still said nothing.
Seeing that the situation was under control, Wood gave a few brief instructions and announced the disbandment.
Andrew turned around and left, attracting everyone's attention again. His roommate and good friend Jack Sparlow, who came to the team with him, looked at everyone, smiled awkwardly, and hurriedly chased after him.
Fred and George exchanged a glance, and George nudged Harry beside him and whispered to him, "Go and take Nariel away."
Harry immediately understood what the other party meant and walked straight to Nalilian, "Let's go, Lilian."
"Okay," Nalilian replied in a low voice, looking away from the senior.
The two little wizards walked side by side out of the court.
The anger and impulse surging in Harry's heart gradually dissipated. He smelled the faint fragrance coming from her body and realized that he was walking alone with her. Heat rose behind his ears.
He tilted his head to look at her. She was looking into the distance with her eyelashes drooping slightly, and seemed a little lost.
This is normal. She came here with the intention of helping the team, but was treated like this. She clearly had no obligation to help the team.
Harry opened his mouth, wanting to say something to comfort her, but the words were on the tip of his tongue, because he was afraid that she would hate being an assistant coach for the team.
God knows how happy he was when he learned from Senior Wood that Nalilian would come to the team to coach them.
"Harry," Narilean started as Harry watched her becoming increasingly distracted.
"Huh?" Harry came back to his senses and quickly turned his head away, averting his gaze.
"What are we having for dinner tonight?" Nalilian asked worriedly.
If she went to the cafeteria at this time, there wouldn't even be leftovers. Besides, she had already informed Cedric about her visit to the Gryffindor Quidditch team today, so he probably wouldn't prepare dinner for her. She had no choice but to ask Harry, who often missed dinner because of training.
He should be very experienced?
"what?"
Harry was stunned. He really didn't expect that Nalilian was worried about this matter.
Nalilian looked at him expectantly.
Harry's face flushed; he couldn't possibly say he'd been making do with biscuits.
The most important thing is that he can make do, but Nalilian can't make do with him.
"Lillian, Harry, what happened?!"
At this time, Hermione and Ron came down from the stands and ran towards them. They saw what had just happened and asked worriedly.
Harry had no choice but to repeat what had just happened.
"Is this guy out of his mind?" Hermione rolled her eyes.
"Andrew Kirk, I know him," Ron said. "He's a year ahead of us, and the most important thing is that he always thinks he's a better batsman than Fred."
"Is that the Beater who always gets knocked off his broom by your brother?" Hermione asked. After getting Ron's confirmation, she looked disdainful. "With his performance, he won't be able to be a Beater even after Fred graduates."
"Lillian, don't let this affect you," she said, pulling Nalilinn. As a member of Gryffindor, she certainly wanted detailed guidance for the team in the house. What could be better than having Nalilinn, who illustrated all the difficult training movements in the book, to provide guidance?
This Andrew Kirk really doesn't know what's good for him.
Hearing Hermione's words, Harry couldn't help but look at Narilian.
Of course, he didn't want Nalilian to be affected by such things. He wanted her to stay in the team as an assistant coach. This way, not only would they have more time to meet, but they could also go out to eat together after training.
Ever since Senior Digory confessed his love to Narilian, Narilian has been spending much less time with them.
"I only have one feeling right now," said Nalilian, the woman involved. "I'm so hungry."
She said, leaning weakly against Hermione and calling.
She now especially misses the delicious food made by Cede, such as pasta, raspberry cake rolls, yogurt pudding, beef pie, etc.
"Oh no," Hermione frowned, "it's past dinner time now."
She looked at Harry, obviously wanting some advice from him.
"Why don't we go to the cafeteria and see if there's anything left?" Ron suggested, knowing that his brother had been eating biscuits.
The four little wizards looked at each other.
That's all we can do for now.
So the four little wizards walked towards the auditorium with hungry stomachs and complained about Andrew Kirk in a resentful mood. As expected, the auditorium did not even leave them a plate.
"Okay," Ron compromised, "now we can have our cookies."
"Biscuits?" Hermione frowned and questioned, looking at Harry, "Harry, do you eat biscuits after every training?"
Harry said nothing and covered his bag calmly.
The biscuits are in his bag.
Hermione gave a desperate look.
"It's good to have cookies. I'm not picky anymore," Nalilian said, looking at Harry eagerly.
Harry took out the biscuits from his bag.
They ended up huddled in the common room, toasting the biscuits from Harry's bag over a small flame lit by Hermione's wand, and eating a makeshift dinner with the remaining grapefruit from Nallylen's bag.
