HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 160 Pearl Bracelet

"what is this?"

Today, Kston came back from outside the school and said he brought her a gift. Nalilian went over happily and received a notebook full of test questions.

No, bro.

Nalilian's face fell.

From laughing to not laughing.

"I summarized your notes from that grade and compiled these questions to help you prepare," Kerston said.

What kind of wizarding world workbook is this?

Holding the notebook, Nalilian showed a constipated expression.

There is no such thing in the magical world. How come Kston can make such a dirty thing without any instruction?

"This book only contains knowledge points related to Charms and Potions," Kerston explained, looking very considerate.

Nalilian wouldn't hear a word and looked at him accusingly.

Not only did he not bring any gifts when he came back from outside, he even wrote a workbook for her personally.

Is he afraid that she will fall behind in her studies?

Seeing her depressed look, Cedric felt a little distressed and said, "Actually, Lillian has been studying hard recently and often goes to the library."

Nalilian nodded quickly.

This was not a lie, she had been going to the library with Seth quite often recently.

The purpose of going there was not to study, but to write the team's training plan.

Seth never checked her homework or textbook preparation. He just wanted her to go to the library with him to study obediently.

Kersten glanced at Cedric, then looked back at Narilian, "Then tell me the formula for the shrinking potion."

Shrinking potion? Nalilian looked confused.

Kersten concluded, "You didn't prepare for Potions class."

Nalilian lowered her head guiltily, feeling dissatisfied.

Damn it, why didn't he test her when she was working so hard a few days ago? He actually chose this time to test her.

"Okay, after talking for so long, how about we have a drink?"

Cedric said with a smile, walked in front of Narielian, blocking Kersten's view, and waved his hands behind his back at Narielian, signaling her to run quickly.

"I'll get it right now!"

Nalilian understood what he meant and ran away with the exercise book in her arms.

The two young men watched in tacit understanding as Nalilian ran out of the classroom.

They were looking for an empty classroom to chat.

Due to the influence of the book they released, they became very popular among the boys who liked Quidditch. They were frantically asking them about the mysterious book, so much so that they now had to avoid crowded public places when chatting.

"How was the conversation with the Irish team?" Cedric asked only after Nalilian's figure completely disappeared outside the door.

"It's going very well," Kersten replied, not even looking away from the doorway. "Mr. Harder has already negotiated a monopoly price with the Irish team and has begun planning the printing and circulation for after next year's Quidditch World Cup. He's very confident that the Irish team will reach the final."

"That's great news," Cedric said.

"He's very ambitious and plans to release the book worldwide. He even wants to have the Irish national team promote it after the Quidditch World Cup," said Kersten. "Luckily, there's no need for pre-launch promotion in China. Harry's previous promotion has already made the book very popular."

"What about you? Are you planning to help out at the publishing house next?" Cedric asked.

Kerston paused, retracted his gaze, lowered his eyes and said, "The coach of the Irish team invited me to stay on the team as an assistant coach."

"Really?" Cedric was surprised. After receiving Kston's confirmation, he congratulated sincerely, "Congratulations, Kston."

Being an assistant coach for the Irish team would undoubtedly be of great help to Kxton's future career. It would also prove that the book was recognized by professional coaches and was not just an academic report written by the two Hogwarts students.

Kersten nodded in response to his congratulations, then tilted his head to look at the backpack left by Nalilian, "Sed—"

But before he could finish, Nalilian came staggering towards the classroom with three glasses of orange juice. Her hands were small, making the ordinary glasses she was holding look huge and shaky.

Kston stood up subconsciously, but Cedric had already run over to take the juice from Narilean. Kston sat down again and looked at the two of them. Finally, Cedric got two glasses of juice and walked back. Narilean kept one glass and followed Cedric while drinking it.

"Kxton, I have good news for you. I'll go prepare dessert," Cedric said to Narilian in a gentle voice after putting the juice on the desk. After she responded obediently, he walked out with peace of mind.

He didn't intend to let her go get the things. What if she fell?

"What good news?" After Seth left, Nalilian took a sip of the grapefruit juice she had brought, looked up at Kerston expectantly and asked.

Did you bring her some secret gift?

"I will stay in the Irish team as an assistant coach for the next period of time," Kerston paused, his eyes passing over her imperceptibly and falling on the glass full of juice beside him.

"Really?" Nalilian's face was full of surprise.

"Yeah," Kersten nodded.

"Will you choose to be a coach in the future?" Narilean asked, but before Kersten could answer, she began to fantasize, "Or maybe become an investor in a Quidditch team and have star players promote products."

She thought of the NBA sponsors.

"Or into the Department of Magical Games and Sports!"

Civil servants, super stable.

Kerston looked at Nalilian who kept repeating these things, and the emotions that were covering his chest dissipated. He reached into the inner pocket of his coat, took out the jewelry box, and handed it to her.

"What is this?" Nalilian asked, staring at the pink jewelry box in front of her.

"Exercises," Kersten said.

Nalilian glared at him. How could the exercises be placed in such a small box? He was lying to him. She took the jewelry box from his hand, opened it, and then opened her eyes wide.

Inside the box lay a mermaid with silver hair and tail.

She stretched out her hand towards it, and the phantom condensed by the white light dissipated, revealing the original appearance of the object - a silver bracelet with a mermaid-shaped base in the middle. The silver base was inlaid with a round rose pink pearl, emitting a faint colorful light.

"Wow," Nalilian pretended to exclaim, feeling a little disgusted in her heart. What a girl, Kerston bought her this again.

"Mermaid's tears," Kersten said. "Do you like it?"

"I like it," Nalilian said, picking up the bracelet and putting it on her wrist. "Does it look good?"

"Yeah," Kersten responded, watching Narilian as she looked down at the bracelet, "It looks nice."
