Chapter 541 Obi-Wan & Satine, Daredevil & Bo-Katan

"Don't worry, my love, I will leave you nowhere to escape, just like a Jedi Knight cannot escape his fate. I believe everyone here tonight will forgive our actions." She said in that passionate voice, with deep affection in her eyes.

Obi-Wan half-opened his eyes and glared at Satine, "Do you really enjoy teasing me like this?"

"I love you as much as you love your lightsaber." Satine whispered, gently stroking his beard with her hand. "Come on, I would like to take a walk around the building. I am sure my heroic Jedi Knight will keep his love company."

Obi-Wan's voice was filled with nervousness as he called her name, "Satine..."

Satine pulled Obi-Wan in and gently placed a finger on his lips, "You know, the last time I was here, my life was in danger. You don't want to repeat that, do you?"

She didn't give him a chance to retort and quickly pulled him away from the bustling party and into a more private space.

Daredevil saw all of this. He used his unique sensitivity to perceive everything around him, including Obi-Wan's emotional fluctuations. He smiled to himself because he could feel the uneasiness and struggle of the Jedi Knight when facing the Duchess of Satine.

"Are you having fun, old friend?"

Daredevil's smirk turned into a smile as he recognized who the person nearby was.

"Chirrut." The blind lawyer greeted, and his eyes turned to the female Zabrak, "Hello, you are-"

"Suji. We've met. In Solta."

"Matt, it's nice to see you again," said Will guard Chirrut with a knowing smile, a smile that could only be shared between their blind comrades, which made Buzz, who was standing nearby, roll his eyes at the two of them.

"Your new robe looks good, Buzz." Daredevil seemed to feel Buzz's eye roll and turned to him and said.

"Yeah, did you notice my new robe?" Buzz asked.

"I like the texture of this brown color," Daredevil replied.

"I really wish you could see it," Buzz said.

"Oh, Buzz, you are kidding, right? Can you give the blind some dignity?" Suji hummed softly.

"They don't mind. They also like this kind of relaxed chat. Besides, you don't know how hateful they are to me." Buzz explained helplessly.
