HP: White Lord of Slytherin

The morning class ended successfully, and at noon in the auditorium, Zabini and others sat opposite Draco.

"Draco, where did you go for the whole summer? You didn't attend any of the parties hosted by our families." Zabini asked him curiously.

They had often seen it during the summer vacations in the past, and almost every family present would hold a banquet, which was a normal interaction between pure-blood families.

Gloria said, "He spent his summers at my estate."

The table became quiet in an instant. As long as she started talking, everyone would quiet down.

Draco didn't care about that, "Yes, Slytherin Manor is very interesting. I have been here for almost two months and I haven't finished exploring one of the rooms in the castle yet."

Seeing that Gloria looked normal, Daphne boldly asked, "Something... interesting?"

"There are portraits of many famous dark wizards. I have also seen Salazar's portrait." Draco looked proud as he spoke. "Adonis has grown a lot. I have even sat on the back of a black flame dragon with Rory."

He did not attend the party during the summer vacation, but he wrote to them. They all knew that Adonis was the baby dragon that Gloria had sent.

While the boy was talking, he did not forget to hand Gloria some water.

"Then...will we have a chance to go in the future?" Pansy prepared herself mentally for a long time before she spoke. As a member of a pure-blood family, constantly adjusting their attitude towards getting along with an absolutely powerful family is a compulsory course in their lives.

At this moment, she no longer had the resentment she had towards Gloria in her second year. She even followed Zabini and stood beside Gloria during the incident in the lounge before summer vacation.

Even though she didn't want to admit it in her heart, Pansy never doubted the authenticity of Gloria's identity. Her pampered nature didn't mean she was stupid.

Gloria didn't intend to make a fuss about Pansy, who was quite sensible about the current situation. After all, she had taught her a lesson before. "If it's appropriate, I won't join any clubs this year. I will form the Slytherin Club myself."

Draco nodded, "Yes, I won't be going to the Pureblood Club."

Zabini immediately sat up straight, "What are the conditions for joining?"

Who in Slytherin House wouldn't want to join the club formed by Gloria?

"There is only one condition for joining now." Gloria looked up at them. "Joining means that you stand on the side of the Slytherin family, now and in the future. It is you, not your family. Of course, you have the opportunity to withdraw, but once you withdraw, you can never join again."

Hearing such a strange request for the first time, Crabbe and Goyle followed Draco without thinking and had no objection. Theodore, who was the farthest away, joined without saying anything. Zabini, Daphne and Pansy thought about it for a while and finally joined.

Gloria was not in a hurry at all. This was just the beginning and it was not time for the test yet.

In the afternoon, there was a Care of Magical Creatures class, and the gathering place was Hagrid's hut at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

As a new professor, Hagrid was wearing a moleskin coat with a dead polecat hanging on his body. His black beetle-like eyes were shining with excitement, and he was very much looking forward to his first class.

"Everyone is here, right? The creatures we'll introduce you to in the first class are very beautiful. Come on, follow me—"

He excitedly led the way, and a group of students followed behind, walking along the edge of the Forbidden Forest. About five minutes later, they arrived at a small paddock. Many students breathed a sigh of relief, for they were afraid that Hagrid would take them into the Forbidden Forest for class.

Gloria saw that Hermione was standing alone, not with Harry and Ron as usual.

She handed her book to Draco, "I'm going to talk to Hermione. I'll be back later."

Draco frowned and glanced at Hermione, "Then remember to hurry up."

Hagrid stood outside the small paddock, "Everyone stand here, all right, now we open our textbooks and get to know the magical creatures you will be familiar with in the first lesson!"

He shouted happily, but no one moved. After all, they had seen how cruel this book was in Flourish and Blotts. The bookstore manager had been bitten countless times and had been complaining about the person who designated this book as a textbook.

"It seems that few people know how to open it." Draco said in a cold tone, casually placing his book on Crabbe's side, and reaching out to touch the "Monster Book of Monsters" that Gloria had asked him to hold, "Touch the spine of the book, and it won't bite."

They received a notice from the school at the end of July. After Newt knew about the book, he specifically told them how to open it safely.

The books in everyone's hands were tied up with various things to prevent them from biting people. After hearing what Draco said, they stroked the spines of the books, and sure enough, the books stopped struggling.

Hagrid's expression struggled between relief and embarrassment, and finally he said dryly, "Very good... two points for Slytherin."

Draco's attitude did not improve due to the extra points, he sneered and said, "Excellent, the book you chose can bite off the student's hand."

"Shut up Malfoy!" Harry couldn't bear to see Hagrid so disappointed. He knew how carefully Hagrid had prepared for this lesson.

Hagrid was confused by the sarcasm and had to ignore them for the time being and walked into the Forbidden Forest. "I'll bring them here and wait..."

"The school actually hired such a person to teach us. If Lowry hadn't become the school director, Hogwarts would probably have to close!" Malfoy said loudly, as if speaking to Hagrid who had entered the Forbidden Forest, or to the students present.

"Shut up - Malfoy!" Harry reiterated sternly.

Draco snorted and gently handed Gloria's book to Goyle. He walked towards Harry step by step, then looked up as if he saw something, with fear in his eyes. He pointed behind Harry and shouted, "Dementors! Dementors!"

The bone-chilling cold and ear-piercing screams resurfaced in his memory. He turned back in fright but saw nothing.

Draco sneered, and the Slytherin students who followed him made faces at Harry.

On the other side, Gloria found Hermione, "What happened? Did you have a fight with Harry and Ron?"

Hermione rolled her eyes in Harry and Ron's direction, "I guess. Because of Divination."

"Divination class?" Gloria was curious. "What happened?"

Hermione found someone to talk to, put down the book and began to talk, "Professor Trelawney is always startled, saying things that are incoherent and mysterious. Just before the class, she said that a classmate will leave us forever. Doesn't this mean that someone will die? She also said that Harry has a death omen, which is related to a big, spooky dog."

"Because of this?" Gloria asked.

"Of course not!" Hermione said anxiously, "I'm angry that they actually believed that weird professor. Professor McGonagall said she predicts a student's death every year, but none of them has come true so far."

"It's a good thing I didn't take the divination class." Gloria sighed, "There are too many uncertainties about the future. Believing in prophecies will make them happen."

Hermione agreed with this statement very much, "Yes, I regret choosing this course, but I won't give up easily."

When the two girls smiled at each other, they heard the laughter of Draco and others not far away. Gloria waved to Hermione and returned to the group of Slytherin students.

"Did you see his face just now? He looked like he was about to faint from fright!" Draco laughed wantonly, while Harry opposite him had a stiff expression. Ron glared fiercely at the person who was making fun of Harry.

Gloria came over and pinched the sleeve of his school robe, "Where's Hagrid?"

Draco temporarily gave up on mocking Harry, took her hand, and said in a gentle tone, "We went to the Forbidden Forest. I don't know what we did."

Hermione took this opportunity to pull Harry and Ron away.
