HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 89 Hippogriff

Hagrid came back soon, and with him appeared a dozen strange creatures that no one had ever seen before. They had the bodies of horses, but the wings and heads of eagles, and sharp claws on their limbs.

Fortunately, each monster had a leather collar around its neck and the chain was in Hagrid's hand.

Everyone inexplicably felt that with his huge body, he could definitely hold on to a dozen strange monsters.

Despite their sharp claws and beaks, these creatures are elegant and beautiful, with coats in a variety of colors, including gray, bronze, and piebald.

"Hippogriffs—" Hagrid no longer had the disappointment he had before, his eyes sparkling, "They're all very beautiful, aren't they?"

The response he received was silence from everyone.

"It's very beautiful. I like the winged beast with pink feathers." Gloria was standing in the front row.

Hagrid was visibly happier, "Want to come closer?"

Draco certainly didn't want his girlfriend to be in danger, "We'll just watch."

"Let me do it." Harry stepped forward. He knew that Hagrid liked ferocious monsters, and it was too dangerous to let Gloria get close.

"Harry!" a Gryffindor girl called out to him, "don't forget your tea leaves in Divination!"

It seemed that many students believed Professor Trelawney's divination. Gloria said in a relaxed state, "It doesn't matter. I can do it."

She patted Draco's arm and walked over to Hagrid, while the other students moved back.

Hagrid immediately said, "They are a group of very proud creatures, and they have bad tempers... but as long as you get along with them properly, they are actually very cute."

He untied the pink-feathered hippogriff collar and said to Gloria, "Be polite to it. Don't blink too often when you make eye contact, or it will not believe you. Bow after you make eye contact. If it bows back, you can try contact."

Gloria nodded, took two steps and looked into the winged beast's pale pink eyes. After staring at each other for a while, Hagrid said, "Very good, you may bow now."

She bowed gracefully upon hearing that.

Almost immediately after she bowed, the pink winged beast followed suit, with the same graceful and beautiful posture.

"Ha - this is the first time I've seen a winged beast accept someone so quickly. Well done Gloria! Well done!" Hagrid clapped happily, and the Slytherin students naturally applauded in support.

Draco felt relieved and clapped his hands proudly.

"You can touch it now. Do you want to take a ride on it and fly around?" Hagrid asked her.

Gloria shook her head, "No, can I take it for a walk around the side?"

Hagrid nodded naturally, "Okay, but don't stay too far away, and be gentle with it."

He felt that Gloria was very talented and had a natural ability to get close to magical animals, so he would ask her to demonstrate how to interact with magical animals in the future.

With the first successful demonstration, Hagrid said to Harry, "Harry, you try it, it's fun."

Gloria came over and fed the winged beast a magic gem. After swallowing the gem, the winged beast rubbed her face affectionately, more intimately than to its own kind.

After touching the feathers carefully, Gloria let it return to its own kind. The winged beast was reluctant to leave and rubbed her with its big head and offered her two beautiful feathers.

Next to him, Harry made contact with a winged beast with grey feathers named Buckbeak, and Hagrid put him on it to fly a circle.

Gloria returned to Draco with two pink feathers in her hand. "I'll give you one. Take it to the Wenrenju Quill Shop to be made into a quill pen. It will definitely look great."

Draco raised the corner of his mouth and took the beautiful feather. He didn't think that this color was not suitable for boys. "I was very worried just now. Fortunately, the pheasant knew what to do."

"Pheasants?" Gloria was surprised and smiled, "Fortunately they don't understand human language."

A Hippogriff is so proud that he would be furious to hear such a title.

The boy didn't care and played with the feathers, "Potter is only fit to ride that kind of pheasant!"

Gloria smiled and hugged him, "I understand. Any creature that can fly cannot compare to your Adonis."

Before they left, Adonis was taller than Draco.

Harry landed safely on Buckbeak's back, and Hagrid threw two of the dead polecats hanging on his body to Buckbeak.

With two successful examples, his confidence grew. He untied the collars of the winged beasts, and everyone imitated Gloria and Harry before, looking into their eyes and then slowly bowing.

Soon they discovered that the more beautiful the bow posture, the faster the winged beasts accepted it.

For a moment, the paddock was quite harmonious. Gloria took Draco's hand and walked to a spotted winged beast. "Although you like Adonis very much, the course content needs to be completed."

After saying this he removed the snake scale necklace from Draco's neck to prevent the winged beasts from approaching him.

No matter how arrogant Draco was, he would never put on airs with his girlfriend, so he just met the winged beast's eyes, and when the time was right, he bowed like a gentleman, and the winged beast quickly bowed back.

Everything went smoothly, and Gloria pressed a magic gem into his hand, "Feed it, it will be closer to you."

Draco did as she said, holding the gem close to the winged beast, and sure enough, the other party stared at the gem.

The young man raised his hand and passed the gem to its mouth. The winged beast took the gem in its mouth very gently, tilted its head back to swallow it, then shook its head and rubbed it against Draco's face, almost scaring him back.

"What is that?" The effect was amazing, the winged beast's attitude obviously improved greatly.

Gloria smiled mysteriously, "You'll know later what any living creature likes."

The first Care of Magical Creatures class went very smoothly, and every student successfully came into contact with the Hippogriff.

Draco did not follow the student group back to the castle, but instead pulled Gloria to the other side.

The girl picked a beautiful flower and waved it at him. "It's beautiful."

Draco hugged her and held her hand holding the flower. Suddenly, Gloria could only see his approaching gray-blue eyes and her soft lips were kissed.

There is no need to say anything, the sweet atmosphere is everywhere.

"This time last year, you were still having a conflict with me." Gloria recalled what happened last year.

Draco rubbed his straight nose against her face, "I will never have conflicts with you again. In fact, after I got angry at you, I still secretly paid attention to you."

"I know." Gloria said with a smile, "That's why I bought some snacks and secretly gave you one, because I was afraid you wouldn't accept it."

Draco remembered that Gloria personally delivered the reasons he had convinced her of, "I was very happy at that time."

The two hugged each other tightly, the love in their hearts overflowing.

After a long while, Gloria said, "Let's go back. We still have homework to do."

The two walked towards the castle and saw the floating Dementors in the distance. Draco frowned, "Those things are really disgusting to look at."

The chill brought by the Dementors seems to be felt even here.

Gloria glanced silently into the distance. With so many Dementors around the school, Sirius should not be able to break into Hogwarts.

"Let's go. I'll find a chance to warn them not to get too close to the school."

Draco knew she had this ability, so he stopped talking.
