Operation Red Book
Chapter 30: The Doll with a Grinning Mouth 1
There were very few living people on the street, but fortunately most of them ran into their houses and locked the doors.
Others who did not escape died on the street.
"Hilda! Alexander!"
Two figures came running from a distance, one of them holding a long sword, they were Mr. Zhu and Ivy.
Hilda wielded her knife to disperse the puppets that turned around and walked towards the two of them, and pulled them to the corner of the alley.
"There is...a leader, the leader of the puppets, wearing red clothes, a...girl."
Ivy was running out of breath and gesturing on her face with her hands.
"It...it has a mouth, with fangs, and its mouth extends to here."
Ivy bent over and breathed heavily, but Mr. Zhu did not have any adverse reactions.
He just breathed lightly, and his tone was extremely steady: "There is a doll wearing a red wedding dress. If you find it, everything will be resolved."
Hilda stretched her head to look at the puppets that kept appearing and Alexander who was still fighting.
She responded: "We don't have any energy left. Now we can only defend the border and prevent them from spreading further."
"What should we do? How long will it take for the SCO rescue team to arrive?" Mr. Zhu also stretched his head to look and patted Ivy on the back.
"I requested level 3 weapons and additional support twenty minutes ago. Now we can only hold out until they arrive."
Hilda walked out of the alley and sharpened her knife on the stone wall.
"During this period, please be careful and cautious, otherwise we will fail the mission."
"Are we just going to hide here... Hey hey hey!"
Before Mr. Zhu could finish, Hilda continued to join the battle. When Ivy stood up, she only saw a stream of fiery red ponytail.
Mr. Zhu hid deep in the alley, sat cross-legged and began to recite scriptures.
Ivy carefully stretched her head out and looked at Hilda and Alexander who were fighting fiercely. She also saw the puppets that were constantly reassembling themselves, dragging the corpses on the ground and staggeringly moving in the opposite direction.
Ivy looked at the direction where the body was dragged. The towering peak of Shisanfang stood above the night sky, imprinted in Ivy's eyes.
"Mr. Zhu, I know where the Shuyun doll is! Come here quickly!"
Ivy pulled Mr. Zhu up and dragged him out of the alley despite his objections.
She pointed in the direction the puppet dragging the corpse was moving, and then pointed in the direction of Shisanfang.
Mr. Zhu understood, walked in front, picked up his sword, and rushed into another alley with his body bent.
Ivy followed behind him, moving in twists and turns in the darkness towards Shisanfang.
After finally seeing the light ahead, Mr. Zhu stopped, listened carefully to the sounds around him, and then took Ivy into the bushes.
After groping forward in the dark in the bushes for a while, Mr. Zhu finally stopped and squatted down.
Ivy's clothes and exposed skin were scratched to pieces, but she didn't care about that. She could only squat in the bushes and try not to make any noise.
After pushing aside some branches and rotten leaves, Ivy looked up and saw Shisanfang in the distance. Only then did she realize that this was the yard behind Shisanfang.
The yard was filled with murdered bodies, and from a distance, an endless stream of puppets were dragged in and stacked on top of the piles of dead bodies.
The Shuyun doll stood in the middle of the yard, looking up at the moon in the starry sky, her dark eyes revealing an unknown chill.
After a while, Shuyang's anxious shout came from a distance: "What are you doing? What are you doing? Where are you taking me?"
Shuyang appeared in the yard. He was held by two puppets and dragged into the yard unwillingly.
Shuyun was floating on his back, making a sad and anxious "woohoo" sound.
The Shuyun doll's head gradually turned back to the right direction, its red lips parted, revealing a mouthful of sharp teeth.
A long scarlet tongue stretched out from his mouth and licked his entire face, making a "tsk tsk tsk tsk" sound.
"What do you want!" Shu Yang roared at the Shu Yun puppet, "You've killed so many people!"
"Brother Shuyang..." Shuyun lowered her face, with obvious disappointment in her tone.
"I am Shuyun..."
"You are not my sister. Shuyun is dead! Already...dead..."
Shu Yang choked up while yelling. He stared at the Shu Yun doll viciously and growled in his throat: "I shouldn't have created you, you monster!"
The Shuyun doll also made a whimpering sound. Its black hole eyes could not shed a single tear, but it could feel hatred and sadness.
"So it's true, Brother Shuyang doesn't like me, Brother Shuyang doesn't want me... wuwuwuwu, I want to be with Brother Shuyang!"
