Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 95: Hagrid is a professor?

"What it is?"

Harry asked, bringing out the confusion in Draco's heart.

"Dementors, the jailers of Azkaban."

Lupin said calmly, then turned to Draco.

"Your name is Draco Malfoy, isn't it?"

Draco nodded.

"It's not easy to hold out against four Dementors with an incomplete Patronus Charm."

"You have great talent and a strong heart."

Lupin's expression suddenly became stern.

“But it’s also dangerous.”

"You made them think you were an enemy and almost used their full strength against you."

Is this why I fainted?

But what about Harry?

Why is he doing this?

I glanced at Harry and realized that he might also want to know the reason.

"Didn't you hear the screaming?"

Green eyes stared at Draco.

He shook his head slightly.

Although the chocolate frog made the discomfort much better, Draco still felt a little weak.

The annoyance on Harry's face was clear.

"Rest first. We will be at Hogwarts in ten minutes."

Professor Lupin sat down next to Harry, closed his eyes and stopped talking.

Draco and Harry were left staring at each other in silence.

Harry opened and closed his mouth several times, as if he was trying to find some topic to talk about, but was afraid to disturb Lupin who was resting.

His eyes never left Draco.

Blushing a little as he looked at him, Draco decided to close his eyes as well.

Although the chocolate frog helped him feel much better physically, he still felt a little depressed.

He moved his body, sat further back on the bench, and rested his head against the window.

Not long after, I heard a rustling sound on the seat opposite me, but I didn't want to find out who stood up.

Within a few seconds, someone quietly put a robe on him and sat back down.

Draco closed his eyes tightly and refused to open them, swallowing the warmth flowing through his heart.

-

The speed slowed down again and the train finally arrived at Hogsmeade Station.

I opened my eyes and saw chaos on the platform outside the window.

The students who had experienced the Dementor fright rushed to get off the train.

Professor Lupin had picked up his old briefcase and was standing at the door of the carriage.

"Wait a minute and get in the same car with me."

The approachable tone carried a sense of majesty.

Draco returned the Gryffindor cloak to Harry, and the moment he stepped onto the platform, the cold wind bit him.

"Harry! Are you okay?"

The bearded giant half-blood waved and shouted at Harry.

Hagrid looked at Lupin and nodded.

Obviously knew what happened.

The carriage arranged for the three people was waiting (it was called a carriage, but there was no sign of horses at all).

Arriving in front of the castle, Lupin led Draco and Harry towards the castle.

Along the way, it can be seen that there are many Slytherin students who want to ridicule Harry, but after seeing Lupin and Draco, they can only back off in surprise.

This made Draco notice that more people were staring at her and Harry with discussion eyes and whispering.

Among them were many faces that he had passed by when he was strolling with Harry in Diagon Alley the day before yesterday.

When they arrived at the castle, Professor McGonagall and Snape were already waiting at the entrance.

Professor McGonagall greeted Lupin cordially and told him to hurry to the high table to get ready.

Snape just watched coldly from the side.

Only when his eyes passed over Draco did the look of disgust in his eyes disappear for a moment.

"I'm going to take you to the ward to see Madam Pomfrey."

"Excellent," Harry was heard to whisper reluctantly.

In the ward, Professor McGonagall relayed Lupin's message to Madam Pomfrey and learned that Harry had fainted shortly after the Dementors got on the car.

He lost consciousness after a stalemate with the Dementors for several minutes.

Was it only a few minutes?

Professor McGonagall, Snape, and Madam Pomfrey were talking in low voices, and I could vaguely hear Madam Pomfrey praising Lupin.

"Severus, I leave this to you. I still need to speak to Miss Granger."

After Professor McGonagall left, Madam Pomfrey also went to sort out the affairs, leaving Snape, Harry and Draco alone.

Harry stood not far from Draco, looking at Snape, feeling a little anxious.

"Although being frightened unconscious by Dementors is rare, it won't be a big deal." Snape said to Harry with a mocking tone.

"You may go, Mr. Potter."

"Unless you hit your brain when you fell."

"But I think, even so, it shouldn't make much difference whether or not to save him."

If Harry hadn't been so red in the face with anger, Draco would have almost laughed out loud at Snape's sarcasm.

After sending Harry away, Madam Pomfrey returned to Draco.

"You must stay and observe all night, dear."

Draco's eyes widened at that.

Madam Pomfrey spoke softly, taking in her expression.

"We have never encountered a Dementor attacking a fourteen-year-old child, so we don't know if there will be any sequelae."

Snape took over, his tone indignant.

"It is obvious that the staff present failed in their duties, which has forced the third-year students to fight against the Dementors."

"I will make sure Dumbledore takes care of this matter."

“I don’t agree. It was an accident.”

Madam Pomfrey said as she told Draco to lie down on the bed and left once again to prepare a hospital gown for Draco to wear for the night.

Snape placed his hand gently on Draco's shoulder for a few seconds, then turned and left.

Leaving behind a whisper that no one else can hear.

"You did a great job, Draco. I'm proud."

"But to successfully cast the spell, you need happier memories."

-

He thought he could at least have a good rest in the ward, but Draco did not sleep well.

I knew something was wrong when I changed my clothes.

Sure enough, my lower back was so sore that I could hardly lie straight throughout the night.

Accompanied by the pain in the lower abdomen, I couldn't lie down or lie down.

Although every month is always a torture, it has never been this hard.

Perhaps it was the chill from the Dementors that exacerbated the pain.

Madam Pomfrey came several times to check on the situation, and Draco tried to ask her for the potion that Harry had stolen from him last year.

But from Madam Pomfrey's expression, she was obviously still concerned about who came to the ward to steal.

I had no choice but to not mention it any further, lest Madam Pomfrey become suspicious.

I endured the tossing and turning until dawn, but the situation only got worse. I found myself barely able to get out of bed, so I had to skip Transfiguration class on the first day of school.

Madam Pomfrey disappeared early in the morning after telling her that she could be discharged at any time.

I just heard her complaining about having to prepare a lot of medicinal herbs for this year's magical creature breeding class, just in case something unexpected happens.

Thinking of the textbook assigned for that course, which was so hard to chew, I deeply agreed with Madam Pomfrey's precautions.

The physical discomfort made the walk from the ward back to the hall seem particularly long.

After finally returning to the dormitory and washing up, I remembered that the afternoon class would be the magical creature breeding class that Madam Pomfrey had to prepare for.

I dragged my sore body out of bed and picked up the textbooks that were locked in a wooden box.

Then I remembered that I didn't know who the professor of animal husbandry was or where the classroom was.

I walked to the hall and read the notice. The ominous feeling in my heart made my already uncomfortable body even heavier.
