Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 94: Who am I and the one who fainted?

Before I stepped out of the carriage, the train braked suddenly and a sharp brake sound was heard outside the window.

After a violent shock, the train slowly stopped.

The sound of luggage falling could be heard from various carriages, and Astoria also fell on Draco.

Draco was hit by the force and couldn't help but lean back.

I heard a few muffled sounds of cakes falling to the ground, and a pair of strong hands steadied my shoulders.

Then, the lights went out instantly and the carriage fell into darkness.

At the same time, the three of them felt the friction sound of something climbing on the top and sides of the car.

The door to Harry's carriage was opened again.

"What happened? We shouldn't be there yet?" Ron asked.

"Absolutely not. I'll go ask the driver what's going on." Hermione said.

Harry, Draco, and Astoria could feel her stepping out of the car and walking towards the front of the carriage.

Then there was a crash.

"Who is it?"

"Ginny?"

"Hermione?"

"Is Brother Ron here? I'm looking for..."

Before Ginny could finish her words, a gust of cold wind and rain poured in and the door of the carriage opened.

-

Everyone only felt the cold wind penetrate their bones, but what followed was a chill that penetrated deeply into their hearts and lungs.

With the help of the flashing light of thunder and lightning outside the carriage door, it seemed that there were several tall figures wearing cloaks walking up.

As the cloaked figures got on the bus, they all let out long, slow inhalations at the same time.

The sound alone was extremely uncomfortable.

There was a muffled sound coming from the front of the carriage. Ginny and Hermione, who were closest to the figure, could not hold on and fell to the ground.

The shape slowly moved towards him, and Draco felt Astoria in front of him holding on to him and trembling.

She herself was shivering from the cold, and at the same time, she felt a stuffy pain in her chest, and felt dizzy and nauseous.

But what concerned her more was Harry, who was originally supporting her.

His hands suddenly became extremely stiff and trembled as if they were convulsing.

Remembering the spells he had tried to learn during the summer vacation, he struggled to stand in front of Astoria and Harry and pulled out his wand.

This action seemed to anger the dark shadows in front of him. He felt the sleeves of their cloaks being lifted up, and the sound of their inhalation became heavier.

I instantly felt a fear that my internal organs were being squeezed and frozen.

I heard a thump behind me, and I had no time to think whether it was Harry or Astoria who fell to the ground.

He forced himself to focus, thinking about the memories of chatting with his parents and Severus in the living room.

Trembling, he tried his best to recite the spell that Severus had taught him privately.

"call..."

"Call upon the Gods to protect you!"

He looked at the silvery-white light emitting from the tip of his wand.

I remembered the Phoenix and the Deer Herder who showed up to rescue Harry and him when they were surrounded by giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest before the summer vacation.

But his spell did not take shape.

There was just a ball of silvery-white light mist blocking him from the cloaked figure.

Only then could I see clearly that there were four unknown beings in front of me.

When the light mist suddenly appeared, the cloaked black figure visibly shrank back.

But after discovering that the light fog did not develop further, they stepped forward more and more angrily.

As the other person got closer and closer, the sound of his breathing became louder and louder, and scenes from last year's nightmare began to emerge in Draco's mind.

Consciousness began to flicker in the dark corridors, the basilisk and Riddle's form.

I found that the hand holding the wand was getting colder and colder, and I could hardly feel the touch of the wand.

The silvery-white light also dissipated a lot.

Trying hard to remind himself of the warmth of the fire in the living room, he trembled as his wand formed a circle, trying to maintain the mist of light that covered himself, Astoria and Harry.

Thinking of Harry, a series of questions flashed through my mind.

Why did these things have such a big impact on him?

Are you coming to find him?

Could it be related to Sirius Black?

As his mind was distracted, the silver-white light weakened instantly, and the man in black robe moved forward one step further.

His body was already falling into an icy cellar, as if being engulfed by black fog. His teeth were clenched, and he saw himself falling from a height in the secret room.

Then, he saw Harry swooping down in the Chamber of Secrets and reaching out his hand to him.

The light at the front end of the magic wand rose again, and the originally scattered light mist gradually condensed.

Although it was still difficult to form, it successfully made the approaching black robe retreat a few steps.

I should have been excited by this, but I knew deep down that this was the final stalemate.

This spell required too much energy. At the same time, he had to fight against the black robe and his own fear, which made him exhausted.

Just when he was about to collapse, a figure stepped past him.

"Sirius Black is not hiding under our cloaks. Let's go."

The silver-white light burned brightly, and the figure in the black robe uttered a few wails and then retreated.

Strangely enough, the cold air suddenly warmed up. Draco's tense mind relaxed, and he felt weak all over. His eyes went dark, and he passed out.

I only remember a warm voice embracing me. "It's okay."

"You did great, kid."

…………

"She's fine, don't worry."

The damp heat on his hands gradually faded away, and Draco slowly came back to his senses...

Feel the vibration and sound of the iron wheels rolling on the track.

After blinking, the blurry scenery gradually became clear.

I found myself lying on a plush seat in a carriage.

Seeing Astoria with tears on her face.

It seems that the tears on my hands are all hers.

I struggled to sit up, but suddenly I felt weak. I couldn't help but bend over with my hands on my forehead.

A rough hand pressed on his left shoulder and a chocolate frog appeared before his eyes.

"Eat it first, Draco."

It's that gentle voice.

"At least take a bite first, it will make you feel much better."

I reached out to take it and found that my hands were shaking and my consciousness was still a little dazed.

"Okay, everyone go back to the carriage first."

"I'll take care of them both."

From the slow footsteps, one could guess that there must be quite a few people standing inside and outside the carriage.

He looked up and confirmed his guess.

There were about a dozen Slytherins and Gryffindors, already dressed in robes, each holding an empty bag of chocolates.

Astoria returned to the outside of the carriage, led by Daphne, and saw worry in the eyes of her sisters and Pansy.

Miraculously, there wasn’t much quarrel between students from the two colleges.

Just silently accept the command of the man in the patched jacket.

It was Professor Remus John Lupin.

"Eat it, Harry. I didn't poison the chocolate."

"You too, Draco."

Take a bite of the chocolate frog, let the slightly bitter sweetness dissolve under your tongue, and suddenly a warm current rushes out from deep inside your body.

Only then did he notice that Harry was sitting on the bench opposite.

He seemed to have woken up earlier than herself, looking pale and covered in cold sweat.

He realized that when he was attacked, it was him who fainted behind him, not Astoria.
