Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 90: How was your summer vacation?

"I think we should tell Draco something."

Lucius suddenly remembered something he had wanted to discuss with Narcissa but had almost forgotten.

"You mean about Sirius?"

Lucius said nothing.

If possible, he even wanted to tell his daughter about the Dark Lord and his past as a Death Eater.

But knowing that this would not be possible with Narcissa's permission -

"What are you thinking about? She's so young!" I always get scolded like this.

But this time, regarding Sirius, Narcissa unexpectedly agreed strongly.

"Then why didn't you let me tell Draco?"

"How should I know what you will say? What if I accidentally tell you about the Dark Lord?"

"Am I that fallible?"

"You. Give. The. Dark. Lord's. Diary. to. Your. Daughter."

"........................"

Under Narcissa's angry gaze, Lucius's graceful and elegant demeanor instantly weakened a lot.

Narcissa smiled as she looked at her docile husband.

"Sirius is part of the family after all, so it would be good to tell Draco."

"Besides, everyone was whispering just now that Sirius escaped from prison and was looking for the Potter boy."

"Whether he is Wormtail or not, this could be true."

Lucius nodded in agreement. Indeed.

"He will most likely be near Hogwarts. Letting Draco know will also allow her to be more careful about her safety."

If he was a loyal Death Eater, he would probably want revenge on Harry Potter.

If not, then it’s more likely that he’ll want to visit his godson.

Narcissa's eyes suddenly lit up as she listened to Lucius' words.

"By the way, weren't Draco and the Potter boy very close this year?"

Lucius was startled when he heard this and knocked over his wine glass.

Narcissa glared at him reproachfully, repairing the spilled port and the broken corner of the glass.

"Aren't you curious? What kind of boy saved Draco?"

Different from the general attention paid to Harry by the wizarding world.

Narcissa became interested in the Boy Who Lived when she learned that he had accompanied her daughter to solve the Chamber of Secrets.

This gave Lucius a headache.

"He'd better stay away from Draco."

Said coldly.

"I would never want to cause any trouble and get Draco hurt..."

"Lucius, it's very ungentlemanly of you to show no gratitude to the man who rescued your daughter."

Narcissa reminded him leisurely, and Lucius had to swallow the rest of his words.

The atmosphere suddenly became much more relaxed, perhaps because the two had temporarily decided on their attitude towards the Dark Lord.

-

The next few weeks went on as normal for Draco, busy with the theory of defensive spells.

Narcissa only told Draco that Sirius Black had disliked the Dark Arts since childhood.

And because of betrayal and murder, he was sent to Azkaban.

Lucius took advantage of Narcissa's inattention to add a lot of details.

Including the bullying of Snape by the four of him and James Potter, and the double agent whose code name was Wormtail.

"So, here's what we know."

"If I heard you correctly, you just said that there was a man named Wormtail who betrayed the Potters and blew up the streets."

"But you didn't say that man was cousin Sirius."

Lucius looked at his daughter, smiled and nodded.

"Why are you telling me this, Dad?"

Looking at his daughter's clear eyes, Lucius held the teacup and sat down beside his daughter.

"Although your mother doesn't agree, you are the Malfoy girl who got rid of a basilisk."

"I believe you would like to know and be able to face some truth."

"Besides, after the 'apprenticeship', I can no longer treat you as a child, right?"

Draco smiled. His father always liked to let him get in touch with things that his mother strictly controlled.

Looking at his increasingly graceful daughter, Lucius gently ruffled her hair and lowered his voice.

"I'm sorry that you were put in danger like that because of Dad."

Draco coquettishly leaned his head on his father's chest, knowing that this was the best way to divert his father's frustration.

After a few minutes, I finally decided to speak out the doubts that had been lingering in my heart since I left the principal's office.

"Did I ruin your plan?"

"Not at all. Instead, you reminded me that no plan is better than family."

Hearing his father's hidden meaning, Draco sat up.

"Resurrecting the Dark Lord is no longer that important?"

My father gestured to me seriously.

"It's not just upper-class ladies who have secrets."

Draco smiled softly. This was also the reason why she always liked to be alone with her parents.

Back in the room, I looked at the shopping list for tomorrow's trip to Diagon Alley, and the luggage for the trip to Hogwarts the day after tomorrow.

Reminds me of Sirius Black's dispute with the Potter family.

It's another thing on my mind.

It seems that the new school term that Harry Potter is looking forward to is going to be chaotic again.

----

The first stop in Diagon Alley is the Tofan Clothing Store.

Over the past year, Draco has grown a lot taller and his body shape has changed a bit, with his waist and legs becoming slimmer.

Compared to Pansy, the heart that had made me worried for a whole year finally heaved more.

Although I am always more accustomed to wearing clothes designed by Pansy or others my mother has asked, I am occasionally interested in browsing the trendy clothes in the market.

After selecting three to five winter and summer robes, I walked to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore with my mother.

It was not long before school started, so there were quite a lot of people in Diagon Alley.

What was different from previous years was that there were many girls older than me along the way.

When passing by him, he screamed and pulled his companions to point at him.

It seems that Astoria's mission to loot Witch Weekly is not going well.

I stepped into Bloomsbury Bookstore and handed over the list of books as usual.

After asking the clerk to send the books to Malfoy Manor immediately, the preparations before school starts are completed.

I asked my mother for half an hour of free time and wanted to wander around Diagon Alley by myself.

My feet involuntarily wandered to a high-quality Quidditch supplies store that I had not been very interested in in the past, and I stopped in front of the store.

The broom on display in the window caught Draco's attention. The unusually familiar shape made him look at the caption:

/Firebolt.

This is a flying broom for competition made with the most advanced technology currently available...

Completely in line with the perfect standards of aerodynamics, giving the Firebolt unparalleled balance and foolproof accuracy...

It has the ability to accelerate from zero to one hundred and fifty per hour in ten seconds...

"It turns out that the prototype of the one used in the secret room..."

I didn't realize I was mumbling to myself until a familiar voice suddenly rose beside me.

"You came to see it too!"

Looking back suddenly, the round-frame glasses and the scar on the forehead came into view at the same time.

I try hard to control the corners of my mouth, reminding myself not to smile too much.

She twirled the hem of her skirt with both hands and squatted down coquettishly.

She performed the ceremony with a smile as shy as a blooming cherry.

"Long time no see, Harry Potter."

I also noticed that Harry was grinning happily.

"How was your summer, Draco?"

Apparently, he hasn't read Witch Weekly.

While I was feeling hopeful, I also felt a strange sense of disappointment. (Chat group: 865172978)
