Chapter 323: Hogsmeade Invitation
Brace stood in the shadow of a wall, the half-light falling on his face.
"Tomorrow is Hogsmeade Day—"
"I already have an appointment." Afro interrupted him directly. She was not a fool when it came to Blaise's occasional temptations.
But Afro, who already had an extraordinary relationship, didn't want to give anyone any more expectations.
But she didn't know that Bryce had already made an agreement with her group of boyfriends.
Everyone depends on their ability.
"I know you don't need company." Blaise lowered his eyelids, his voice muffled as if he hadn't woken up yet, "I just don't have any friends, so I wanted to ask if you could go with me."
Afro opened his mouth and wanted to say something, but swallowed it back in the end.
I know that most of what Bryce does here is just a show, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel bad.
"But I don't have the final say, you know..."
Afro didn't finish the rest of her words. She smiled apologetically and planned to leave this place that made her so entangled.
"It's okay, I can do it alone." Bryce still lowered his head, but his tone made people wonder if he was secretly crying.
He let out a long, slow sigh.
"Forget it, you can take my carriage when the time comes."
After saying that, Afro turned and left. She did not see Blaise's raised face behind her.
There was no trace of sadness on his face, and the smile on his lips was not concealed at all. The surging emotions in his eyes threatened to drown her.
When Avro walked into the classroom, Ron was still holding the back of his head and grimacing, while Harry stared at the book in his hand, as if he was not disturbed by the commotion around him.
"Have you ever thought about that again?" Hermione said suddenly.
"Well, I've thought about it a little." Afro looked at the book in Harry's hand, which was "Asian Anti-Drug Encyclopedia" which she was not interested in, and said slowly to Hermione.
Hermione put down her pen and looked at her anxiously, "What else?"
"I think your idea is good, but we can't do anything on our own."
Snape listened to the rustling sound on the podium and coughed in dissatisfaction.
Afro shrugged and focused his attention on his homework.
"Not just you." After a while, Hermione lowered her voice again and said, "Ginny and I have been testing a few students, and two or three are very interested -"
Ginny heard their discussion and leaned over to them. "Tomorrow is Hogsmeade Day. We can have them meet there."
"That's a good idea." Ron expressed his opinion as he lowered his head and continued to copy the contents of the book.
Harry had been looking forward to spending the weekend in Hogsmeade; it was a time when he could escape Umbridge's surveillance and even spend some quality time alone with his girlfriend.
But this matter worried him, and his mind couldn't ignore Hermione's suggestion.
Harry thought for a moment, frowned as he stared at Afro who was writing, and said, "I doubt anyone would be willing except for us. After all, I am a monster."
"How could it be!" Hermione almost exclaimed, "You don't know how much interest people have in you!"
Seeing that Harry still had a worried look on his face, Afro looked at him seriously, "Don't worry, Harry."
"You are always stronger than you think," she said softly.
The next day, Hogwarts had a rare sunny day. Although it was windy, it couldn't stop the students from being excited.
In order to better monitor the activities of Harry and Avro, Umbridge found several Slytherin students and formed a student supervision organization.
This led to increasing conflicts between Gryffindor and Slytherin.
In order not to cause unnecessary trouble to Afro, Draco, Theodore, Blaise and Noah reduced their chances of contact with her.
The most dissatisfied one was Draco.
Because this day was the date he and Afro had agreed upon.
At this point, Draco's dislike for Umbridge reached its peak.
Whenever her name was mentioned, Draco showed an undisguised look of disgust on his face.
"Why hasn't that old hag gone back yet? How long will the investigation take?" Draco got into his carriage unhappily, and watched Harry and the other two Weasleys get into a carriage with Avro while laughing and talking happily.
Brace was very depressed after making a good plan but someone overturned the table. He didn't know that a person's luck could be so bad!
Theodore was much calmer than them. He could already foresee how miserable Umbridge and Fudge's fate would be.
But the carriage ahead was not as joyful as they had imagined.
"Why would you want to bring something like this into our date?" Fred said listlessly.
"Because only Hogsmeade is outside surveillance."
"Afu sweetheart, don't you need compensation?"
Afro's eyes were full of confusion.
Compensation? What does she want to compensate?
Fred saw the doubt, chuckled twice, and pinched the back of Afro's neck and rubbed it gently.
“Compensation for taken appointments.”
Hermione now deeply regretted choosing to ride in the same carriage with them.
Harry couldn't bear it anymore, so he slapped Fred on the back of his hand.
"Where are we going? The Three Broomsticks?"
"No, it's another one. It's hidden, ensuring we can't be eavesdropped on."
After getting off the carriage, they walked along the main road, passed the post office, and turned into a small road next to it. At the intersection was a shabby little bar.
The wooden sign was teetering on the door. A bloody boar's head was hung on the door.
Afuluo and his companions hesitated for a moment, then pushed the door open and walked in.
The environment in the bar was even more disgusting. Every item was covered with a thick layer of dirt.
They walked past the bar and up a short staircase. This was a separate room.
"Who do you think will come?" Harry asked Afro nervously and anxiously.
"There should be more than we thought." Afro stood by the window and looked outside, and saw many students wrapped in robes walking towards this side.
In front were Neville and Luna, with a hard-to-ignore platinum head in the middle, and behind them were a few Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students.
Of course, Cedric was among them.
When everyone was standing in the room, this not-so-small place became a little crowded.
"Two or three?" said Harry hoarsely.
Fred pushed the door open first and shouted at the bar, "Excuse me, can you give us thirty cups of butterbeer?"
The bar owner seemed to be disturbed by him about something important and threw down the rag angrily.
George looked at the students in the room with a wry smile and stretched out his hand to them, "Please everyone give some money, I didn't buy so much beer..."
