Chapter 322 My Own Teacher
Without any hesitation, everyone unanimously approved the name, which also blocked a series of plot twists caused by the name.
It was almost midnight when everyone left the Room of Requirement.
Avro walked slowly at the end of the group, waiting for Neville to catch up with them.
"Neville." She called the boy softly.
Neville was stunned for a moment, then turned to look at her.
Afro took two quick steps and walked side by side with him, "Neville, have you seen a crown here?"
She gave Neville a rough description of what the Ravenclaw diadem looked like. Neville slowly stopped and stood there thinking.
"No." He paused for a few seconds, raised his eyes and looked straight at Afro, "Did you lose something?"
Afro shook his head, "I'm just asking."
Silence stretched between the two of them. Neville cautiously stole a few glances at the girl, thinking he was being very discreet.
"Do you need me to help you find it?"
"Okay, don't move when you find it, and tell me immediately."
Suddenly, a beautiful little face enlarged in front of Neville's eyes. His heartbeat stopped for a moment.
"There is a curse on it. If you touch it, you will turn into a devil." Afro threatened him in a low and hoarse voice.
But obviously it didn't work.
Neville laughed instead, "I know, Aphrodite."
"It's so boring."
Harry slowed down when he felt Avro was being left behind.
"How do we meet next time?"
Afro slapped his forehead suddenly, and the crisp sound of the slap was particularly clear in the silent corridor.
"Oops, I forgot to think of a way to get in touch!"
If she had to be the one to notify everyone every time, she would be caught by Umbridge sooner or later!
Harry rarely saw Aphrodite looking so silly and cute.
"It's not too late now." There was a hint of smile in his voice.
Afro's face flushed and she lowered her head in embarrassment. After a while, she suddenly raised her head, like a kitten with a fierce expression but no killing power.
"Were you laughing at me just now?" The girl stared at Harry with her round eyes.
Harry clenched his left fist, put it to his mouth and coughed twice, "No."
Back in the Gryffindor common room, Hermione and Ron were waiting for them on the sofa.
Neville glanced at Hermione who had something to say, and wisely returned to his dormitory.
"When you came in, Ron and I told them that we should take some action now." Hermione said to them anxiously, and then, feeling that her voice was a little too loud, she lowered the second half of the sentence.
Crookshanks and the white fox curled up around Avro's legs, purring loudly.
"I suggest poison," said Ron seriously.
Harry wanted to retort, but nothing came out. After a moment's pause, he closed his mouth again.
"No, I think what Hermione means is that there is nothing to learn from Umbridge." Afro said decisively.
Hermione nodded in agreement, she glanced hesitantly at Harry and Avro, and continued, "I was thinking, maybe we could do it ourselves."
"What?" Harry looked at them questioningly. He had a vague guess in his heart, but he didn't think his little friend would be so bold.
"Learn Defense Against the Dark Arts on your own."
"Don't be naive!" Ron sneered without disguising his expression. "There's nothing we can do!"
Hermione stared at him angrily, and Ron leaned back on the sofa in defeat, his shoulders hunched.
"But who will teach us?" Harry frowned and said in a dejected tone.
Afro took a deep breath. "Can't you see? I'm talking about you—
"Harry and Cedric are the school's warriors, which is enough to prove their strength." Hermione interrupted Aphrodite and looked at her with burning eyes, "And Aphrodite, although she is always not attentive to the courses, her grades are good..."
"I'm not a good teacher. I even think I'm not qualified." Afro stared at them blankly and muttered softly.
"What teacher?" Fred and George suddenly popped their heads out from the doorway of the portrait and looked at the frowning quartet with a smile.
Hermione was talking endlessly about her ideas to the twins, and Harry wanted to give Fred and George a ridiculous, incredulous look.
However, George's expression was not surprised. Instead, he frowned slightly and thought, "That's an idea."
"What idea?" Harry repeated automatically.
"Let the baby be our teacher!" Fred's eyes flashed with a gleam, and his words were ambiguous.
Harry turned to look at Avro, whose face was flushed red, and Ron stared at them blankly.
"You are proficient in all kinds of spells," Hermione added, her serious expression making it clear that she was not joking, "at least better than us, and Cedric..."
"I think we should consider this matter carefully." Afro said nervously.
How could she be proficient in spells? This is too exaggerated...
Harry agreed and continued, "Yeah, I think so too."
After suggesting that Harry and Aphrodite teach spells, Hermione didn't mention it again for two weeks.
In addition to doing her homework and the rules of the rights association every day, she kept writing letters.
"Nott said that Umbridge has been keeping an eye on all of our owls," Ron kindly reminded Hermione after she sealed the envelope for the third time.
"I know," Hermione replied absently. "There are no secrets in my letters."
"So what are you writing?" Ginny asked, stopping her writing pen.
"I'm writing to Krum. They never forbid students from learning the dark arts."
"You're crazy!" Ron screamed.
Snape frowned and looked towards the source of the voice, then closed the book in his hand. He rolled up his sleeves, stood behind Ron, and slapped him hard on the head.
"Ah!"
The classroom was quiet for a while. Ron couldn't help but ask Hermione out of curiosity.
"What kind of dark magic is that?"
Hermione glanced cautiously at Snape, whose face was hidden by the book, and lowered her voice, "It was Aphrodite who asked me to inquire about a kind of dark magic."
Snape's frown deepened as he listened to the muttering in his ear. He peered over the edge of the book and saw Ron speaking again.
"Aphrodite? How could she--"
Snapped!
This time Snape hit him on the head with a book.
Ron cried, holding the back of his head, pouting and focusing on his homework again.
Outside the classroom, Afro was holding a stack of parchment and squeezed out from between the troublesome twins.
"Aphrodite!"
A voice with a different ending sounded behind him.
