Even with Peter's night vision, he could only see two dark figures: Strange and Stark.
As for Stark, who was just an ordinary person, his situation was even more miserable. His vision was completely black, so black that he could not see his own hand in front of his face.
Stark quickly tapped his chest.
Countless nanoparticles emerged from his chest, continuously attaching to his body, eventually forming a technologically advanced steel armor.
This is the nano-steel armor he just created—Mark50. With Friday as the AI-assisted system, it has features such as extreme flight, sentry mode, and infrared scanning. It can also use nanoparticles to transform into various combination weapons such as guns, cannons, shields, and swords.
Normally stored in the Arc Reactor on Stark's chest, it is very easy to carry. When activated, it can cover part or the entire body, giving it great flexibility.
In fact, Stark had already been researching this technology a year earlier during the Civil War with Captain America.
However, his technology was not mature at the time; he could only load nanoparticles onto a watch, and it could only be used on one hand.
As for weapons, they were naturally very few. (You can watch the scene in Captain America 3 where Bucky is first captured; Bucky is hypnotized and goes berserk, and Stark uses this to fight him.)
Later, Peter's nano-spider suit gave Stark a lot of inspiration.
While Peter's nano-spider silk is based on bio-nanotechnology, his nanosteel is based on metallic nanoparticles.
But just as Peter once borrowed nanotechnology from a company under the Stark Group, there are still many commonalities between the two as equipment.
Stark's Mark 50 was actually released around the same time as Peter's Nano Spider 2.
After undergoing a series of tests, it is now considered basically mature.
hum-
As the Iron Man armor activated, a beam of light shone through the darkness.
Strange paused, then glanced at the fully armed Stark with some displeasure before ruthlessly extinguishing his light once again.
Then, before Stark could express his opinion, a 3D image appeared between the three of them.
That image was Thanos!
This image is clearly much more realistic than the chibi version Peter drew.
Apart from lacking vitality and having dull eyes, it looked almost like a 3D projection, incredibly lifelike.
"Is this guy Thanos?" Stark asked, removing his mask.
Strange nodded. "That's right."
He then repeated the information about Thanos that he had previously shared with Peter to Stark.
After he finished speaking, Thanos's figure shrank slightly and was placed aside.
Then, a second image appeared between the three.
This was a guy whose entire body was covered in armor made of a material that looked like black gold. His face looked somewhat similar to Thanos, and he held a strange weapon that resembled both a scepter and a long-handled scimitar.
"His name is Corvus Glaive, a powerful warrior with superhuman strength and extraordinary healing abilities. The blade he wields is called the Undying Blade, but it is actually his true form. The Undying Blade houses Corvus Glaive's soul, so even if his body is destroyed, as long as the Undying Blade remains, he can continuously resurrect!"
“Resurrection?” Peter exclaimed. “Is this something magic can do?”
Strange nodded: "There are indeed some dark spells that can resurrect the dead, but generally speaking, these spells come at a price."
"What price will he have to pay?" Stark asked, looking at the image of Corvus Glaive.
Strange shook his head: "I don't know. His ability is similar to magic, but it's not necessarily magic. It could be some kind of alien technology."
Peter and Stark fell into deep thought.
"Then how can we defeat him?"
Strange held up one finger: "The first way, destroy his immortal blade."
Then, before Peter and Stark could speak, he said, "The weapons of the Black Order are all made of a cosmic metal called Uru Steel, which is not easily destroyed."
“Uru Steel?” Stark asked. “How strong is it?”
Chapter 172 Vibranium Steel Armor?
Strange asked, "Your old friend Captain America has a shield made of vibranium and some rare metals, right?"
Stark nodded and said, "That's right, it was made by my father, Howard Stark. The specific materials are vibranium, iron, and some chemicals. It's a rare find and cannot be replicated. Due to the rarity of vibranium, it's a unique piece. This special alloy is almost indestructible, able to withstand extreme pressure, extreme temperatures, radiation, and electromagnetic spectrum attacks. How does it compare to Uru Steel?"
Strange said, "Uru steel is a special metal that is accidentally left behind after a star explodes as a result of the enormous energy released from it impacting the star's core. It is extremely rare, even in the vast universe. And its hardness is only greater than that of Captain America's shield!"
“How can you be so sure?” Stark asked, skeptical of Strange’s words.
To be more precise, he was a little angry.
After all, this shield was his father's masterpiece.
Moreover, the shield's strength has always been evident. It has withstood kinetic weapons from Earth, energy weapons used by the Chitauri invaders, lightning summoned by Thor, and Thor's hammer attacks.
Unscathed.
If this material weren't so scarce, Stark would have liked to use this adamantium alloy to build himself a suit of Iron Man armor.
Now, however, some people are suddenly saying that it has been outdone.
This is undoubtedly a questioning of his past beliefs.
Strange replied, "Because I saw it in a future scene where your friend, Captain America, Steve Rogers, was wielding that shield against Thanos, who was wielding a greatsword made of Uru steel, and the shield was shattered!"
"This..." Stark opened his mouth, but couldn't utter a word.
Peter had already told Strange that he could see the future.
The intelligence they are discussing now was obtained by Strange from the "future".
"Is there really no way at all?" Peter asked.
“Not entirely,” Strange said. “There is a place on Earth where there is a large amount of vibranium, and for thousands of years they have been studying how to use it. Vibranium is slightly weaker than Uru steel, but the difference is not that great.”
“Are you talking about Wakanda?” Stark said. “I remember that King T’Challa of Wakanda seemed to have a suit of armor made entirely of vibranium.”
“Yes, it’s Wakanda,” Strange nodded.
Then, with a wave of his hand, he tossed the image of Corvus Glaive aside.
First, an Earth appeared, then a huge meteorite flew down from space and crashed somewhere on Earth.
“A long, long time ago, this meteorite carrying a large amount of vibranium crashed somewhere in Africa. Later, the inhabitants here used this vibranium to establish a country, which is Wakanda,” Strange said.
“Vibranium meteorite!” Stark exclaimed in shock. “You mean Wakanda has vibranium mines?!”
How could he not be shocked?
Most people in the world once thought that the few dozen kilograms of vibranium they obtained at that time represented all the vibranium reserves on Earth.
After all, vibranium has such outstanding performance, so it's normal for it to be a little rare.
But now, they're telling him vibranium is a mine?!
day!
Has his vibranium armor been secured?
As for the price of $10,000 per gram of vibranium?
Just kidding, he's Tony Stark.
Is he short of money?
“The residents of Wakanda use vibranium to develop industries such as military, medical, and transportation. Their development of vibranium is quite advanced. So, perhaps we can go to Wakanda and let them, who understand vibranium better, create suitable weapons and equipment based on vibranium to destroy Corvus Glaive’s Undying Blade.” Strange finished explaining his plan in one breath.
However, for some reason, Peter and Stark felt that Strange's expression was strange.
The strange feeling was even stronger when he mentioned "Wakanda's level of development of vibranium".
But Strange didn't say anything, and the two of them didn't feel comfortable asking.
Next, Strange showed them the other three members of Thanos' Black Order.
One of them was called Black Dwarf, a very large and robust monster, about the same size as Hulk.
However, he was the tall and strong type, while Hulk was short and stocky.
Strange explained that Black Dwarf also wields a giant scythe made of Uru steel, and that he is very strong, just like Hulk, making him a power-type fighter.
However, his weaknesses are also quite obvious.
He's physically strong but mentally simple; perhaps we can outsmart him.
Peter, however, became interested in this.
Since his physical strength increased, he hasn't fought with his full power yet.
Should we test whether Black Dwarf's power is greater than his?
The second one is named Proxima Midnight, a female alien who is the spouse of Corvus Glaive.
Her weapon is called the Dark Night Gun, which is made of a certain proportion of Uru steel plus some alien metals, and can be thrown at speeds that can easily reach several times the speed of sound.
Combined with the indestructible sharpness of the Uru steel, simply throwing it out would be no less powerful than a missile!
The last one was a mage.
His name is Ebony Maw, and he possesses a powerful telepathic ability similar to Peter's Spider-Sense.
Strange claimed that his magical skills were at least on par with his own.
