Chapter 73 Fierce Battle on Earth 700 (4)

Compared to the other two sides, Peter didn't have any troubles because... how should I put it, this cosmic scorpion is quite difficult to deal with.

Generally speaking, a scorpion is a cyborg, endowed with a mechanical tail that can spray acidic slime and injected with scorpion-modified genes, which greatly enhances its physical abilities, even granting it greater strength and speed than Spider-Man. However, the Earth 700 scorpion takes a completely different path, showing no trace of genetic modification whatsoever. Instead, it has truly undergone a complete transformation, becoming a large scorpion with four legs, a pincer arm, and even a spiked tail.

"You're not even green!"

Spider-Man leaped high, landing on the top of the tunnel, hanging upside down and looking at the Earth 700 scorpion: "Not green is one thing, but brown? Brown? Seriously? Are you a desert scorpion? You should be in the Arizona sands eating cacti, why are you in the New York subway?"

Scorpion spoke in a heavily accented voice, saying something Peter couldn't understand for the first time. Peter sighed, then watched as Scorpion's four legs suddenly exerted force, charging towards him. He simply shrugged and fired a string of spider silk at Scorpion. Scorpion laughed arrogantly, waving its pincer-arms, trying to cut the incoming silk, but the silk had anticipated his movement and stuck directly to the metal claws of Scorpion's pincers.

Then a series of powerful electric currents were transmitted from the spider silk. The scorpion, which had only undergone physical modification but not genetic enhancement, was scorched by the current. Peter paced back and forth, raised his left hand, checked the time, and only let go when he felt it was about time. He then jumped to the side of the free-falling scorpion.

"Thank you for doing so many human body modifications. I don't feel any psychological burden when I take them off."

Peter stepped on the back of the scorpion, which hadn't yet gotten up, and ripped off its bionic tail. The scorpion let out a scream with a Mexican accent, followed by its large pincers on its left hand, and then its two modified legs that could transform into four legs.

"Or it could be the other way around, it could become a four-legged creature with two legs, it doesn't matter."

He flung away all the miscellaneous parts, then threw out the scorpion stick with only its right arm, attaching it to the pipe with spider silk. Peter watched Spider-Man (Earth 700) fighting Kingpin at the collider, then turned his head and saw Spider-Man 2099 lying beside him.

"All taken care of, kid?"

Miguel had only intended to ask a question, but then he saw Peter extend a fist towards him. He hesitated for a moment, nodded at Peter, then exchanged fists with Peter, and together they swung their webs toward Kingpin. Now, as long as they dealt with Kingpin, they could shut down the collider.

The spatial rift had widened considerably, turning the surrounding space a dangerous red. All sorts of chaotic things were emerging from it. Peter and Miguel swung on their webs towards Kingpin. Peter's spider-sense went off loudly, and he only had time to shout "Watch out!" before quickly dodging. Miguel, oblivious to what was happening, was struck in the back by an octopus tentacle that attacked from behind. The tentacle then grabbed his neck, lifting the burly man from behind.

"Another Spider-Man, and it looks like he doesn't have web shooters."

Liv, sipping her coffee, laughed as she "floated" over, looking at Miguel, whose neck she was gripping tightly. Two other tentacles moved towards Peter. This was the first time Peter had encountered something that could avoid the interference of his webs. Even when powerful webs hit the tentacles, they were useless, while electric webs could be easily dodged by these incredibly agile tentacles.

Miguel released one of his hands and extended a claw, intending to sever the tentacle, but his right hand was quickly controlled by another tentacle. Peter, who was in the distance, pounced on her, but was chased by Doctor Octopus's other tentacle. As for her, she wasn't paralyzed, and even without the tentacles, she could land on the ground and stand aside to enjoy the battle with Spider-Man and the others.

“Sorry, kid, I didn’t expect Liv to upgrade her tentacles.” Blonde Peter said in the communicator while dodging Kingpin’s punches. “Give me a few minutes, and I can take care of him.”

How many minutes?
In a few minutes, the rift might cover them all. Look at it now, things from other universes have already flown over, and they're already showing signs of weightlessness. These things are starting to drift around everywhere.

Wait a minute… Peter, thinking about how Kingpin was defeated in the original movie, suddenly had an idea. “Hey, uh, older Spider-Man?” Spider-Man, while dodging Doctor Octopus’s new tentacles, suggested to Spider-Man (Earth 700), “Take your opponent into the rift’s influence!”

"What? Are you sure this is a good idea?"

Trust me this once!

So Spider-Man (Earth 700) showed off his key to Kingpin, then leaped towards the collider's energy panel. Kingpin, seeing the weightless environment, simply ripped off a piece of nearby metal and hurled it towards the energy panel, then stepped on it and flew towards it like Tao Pai Pai. He quickly caught up, roared, and pounced on Spider-Man. The two fell from mid-air, Kingpin punching Spider-Man (Earth 700) repeatedly in the face.

A blue bus floated out of the spatial rift. Kingpin slammed Spider-Man (Earth 700) onto the bus, punching it repeatedly. The bus floated erratically and then plunged into the rift.

"You think you and your cronies can stop me? You can't do it!"

Kingpin roared and was about to punch Spider-Man (Earth 700) in the face, but the blond Peter seemed to see something and looked behind Kingpin, while Kingpin heard a voice.

"Wilson, what are you doing?"

A phantom of his deceased wife Vanessa appeared behind him. Kingpin turned his head in disbelief and saw Vanessa holding their son Richard in the phantom. He saw his wife leave him with their son once again.

"You want them back, Willie, but you've forgotten why they left in the first place, ah!"

Peter kicked Kingpin, who had relaxed his strength, sending him flying out of the bus and the spatial rift. The blond Peter jumped out of the bus, passed through the spatial rift, and returned to his own universe. Then, he grabbed Kingpin in mid-air and retaliated with a whole set of wild punches until both of them crashed heavily to the ground.

"You think I killed your wife and children? You're wrong, Willie. You're the one who killed them. No matter which universe, no matter how many times, they will escape." The blond Peter, who was completely wrapped up in Kingpin, looked at Peter, who was still fighting with Doctor Octopus, and Miguel, who was firmly controlled. Then, he seemed to realize something, grabbed a large head that was sticking out of the spatial rift, pulled it out completely, and slammed it hard into Doctor Octopus.

"Liv delivered—delivery to my door!"

Liv looked up at the bus and instinctively retracted all her tentacles to protect herself, but unfortunately, the 100-ton king still slammed into her hard—she probably didn't die, but she certainly didn't feel good.

"Alright, guys, the Spider-Men saved New York, once again." Blonde Peter went to the power panel, inserted the key, and unlocked the other party's system. He then jokingly asked in the channel, "There's a big, bright red button here. Anyone want to press it and end it all?"

"Here you go, old man, this is your universe."

“I’m only 26.” Blonde Peter smiled, pressed the green button, and the collider’s energy began to decrease, eventually going out completely.
