Chapter 722 Hell is Full
After Kingpin left, Peter returned to normal. Matt, still sitting there, asked Peter without changing his expression, "What do you think of Fisk's words?"

"There is no doubt that Fisker has his sights set on the mayoralty of New York City. What we don't know now is whether he plans to run this year or four years from now."

King is not scary or threatening now. If King were to become the mayor of New York City—the threat level wouldn't be high either, but he would definitely be disgusting.

But let's set aside the fact that Kingpin's sentence isn't over yet; he's only been granted medical parole through some underhanded means. Even if he were planning to run, it's already October, which is theoretically too late. An October surprise isn't supposed to be this surprising. Given that these two were relatively unknown and did not look like good people, it was not surprising that they were being called terrorists.

JJJ is still calling on superheroes to step in and clean up the mess.

Peter apologized and went outside to make a phone call. The priest watched the television with a worried expression. Aside from the Bloodstone, the appearance of Ghost Rider had undoubtedly dealt a huge blow to this devout believer. Meanwhile, Matt listened to the news on television while simultaneously listening to Peter's phone call, where Peter was directly communicating with Strange.

"What do you mean that the manager has been possessed by a demon? How did he get possessed? Roxon Energy's stock rose so much that he was possessed? What the hell? What's the logic behind these two things being connected? Are you still investigating?" Peter was speechless. Now he knew what Mephisto was up to. No matter what means he used, he must have known that the Roxon-Stark War would one day break out, so he designed this system to allow demons to possess these people through some kind of connection in the stock market.

However, there are many suspicious points no matter how you look at it.

Peter went into the small room, said apologetically to the priest and Matt, and quickly left. He found a place, opened a portal, and arrived inside the Sanctuary.

At this moment, Strange didn't act rashly, but instead observed the chaos on the streets of New York. Peter walked over to Strange's side, watching the scene he was conjuring with water from a large cauldron, and quickly asked, "Can't you use magic to directly extract the demon's soul from his body?"

Like Ghost Rider's Spirit of Vengeance, those are beings left in our world. But even if Mephisto sent in a batch of demons through the rift opened by Nimrod's affair, neither the number nor the strength was enough."

How did these demons get in?
"Should we send out a notification...?"

"Now that Roxson and Stark Industries are at war, what would happen if the Avengers or some other organization announced that 'people who buy Roxson Energy stock might be possessed by demons'? Just imagine what that would do."

Strange shook his head repeatedly. Putting aside the motive of wanting to save people, the Avengers currently had a very clear conflict of interest with Roxon Energy. Offering such a suggestion at this time was simply asking for trouble. Peter thought for a moment and then said, "Then let's inform Nick Fury. Strange sighed helplessly as he said this: "I bet Mephisto, no, probably even before the incident, had already made contact with Hydra. Mephisto must have offered Roxon Corporation a cooperation plan that seemed to be entirely beneficial to them."
