Chapter 723 Tell me! Which faction are you from?!
Putting aside what Mephisto's conspiracy is all about and what the details are, the primary task of this newly formed, yet-to-be-named, magic-side hero team is to bring the devil back.

"So, you can tell at a glance that this guy is your boss's subordinate?"

Two motorcycles sped along a New York highway, chasing a luxury black sedan. The driver looked like an ordinary office worker, but the two motorcycles chasing him were a Ghost Rider with a skull on fire on his head and a Monster Hunter wearing a leather jacket and carrying a shotgun.

The two people in the back seem like villains no matter how you look at it.

"No, I'm pretty sure that guy isn't one of Mephisto's men. The smell is different. The sulfur smell on him is somewhat familiar, but it's definitely not from hell."

As a veteran Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze has broken free from the limitation that Ghost Rider can only transform at night; he can now transform into Ghost Rider in broad daylight to chase enemies. He answered Elsa's question and accelerated at full speed, trying to catch up with her.

The man who was dragged up looked terrified, not at all like a devil, and instead kept trying to beg for mercy and resist.

“Almost nothing, except that we know this guy isn’t Mephisto’s devil.”

Elsa's answer surprised Strange, who then went to the room where the person was being held to investigate the possessed demon. After a while, Peter, who was anxiously waiting for news, also came to Strange's side. Seeing Strange's furrowed brows, Peter couldn't help but feel nervous: "What happened?" "Simply put, it's the devil. These demons are not Mephisto's hidden agents placed in our world beforehand, but were automatically summoned by fulfilling the ritual conditions."

“These demons come from the border of Hell. The border of Hell is similar to Hell, and the creatures are similar, but it is not the same dimension. That’s why Ghost Rider said that sulfur smells different.”

"What? But Limbo isn't..."

Strange nodded. These demons came from the frontier, and Illana, as the Sorcerer Supreme of the frontier, should theoretically be able to monitor the entry and exit of the entire frontier like Strange, but a group of demons were allowed in, which is illogical.

Peter leaned towards Iliana's innocence, but unfortunately, his opinion didn't reflect that of others. When this conclusion was presented to Strange, he needed to consider a special case: had Iliana been corrupted, or even fallen, to some degree during her takeover of Limbo?
In that case, her destructive power would be too great.

"And what's worse is that if Magister let these demons in intentionally or unintentionally and didn't stop them, then theoretically she could let in even more, or even an endless number of, such demons."

Strange looked at Peter with concern: "So Spider-Man, I'm wondering if our operation needs to temporarily exclude Magik."

Peter looked at Strange and also seriously considered the question, but his thinking was slightly different. After a brief moment of thought, Peter shook his head.

“As you know, Iliana was taken away by Velasco for a long time, and half of her soul was extracted and turned into bloodstone. Even under these circumstances, she has never given up the fight. She is not someone who is easily corrupted. If you intend to exclude her, the consequences are hard to predict.”

After giving Strange a slight warning, Peter drew inspiration from his former boss at Limbo and asked Strange, "Is it possible that Velasco is behind this?"

"Velasco has been banished; there is no place for him on the frontier of hell."

Strange, a master wizard, told Peter this very accurate and unbelievable conclusion.

"Whatever Mephisto's intentions and plans are, he has to rely on Magik to accomplish all of this. In other words, there is definitely something wrong with Magik."
