Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 53: It's no use trying to get close to a Dementor

Chapter 53: It's no use trying to get close to a Dementor
Cohen didn't see Harry until dinner time; he seemed to have not left the lounge all day.

"Where's Harry?"

At the dinner table, Ron stuffed two chicken legs into his mouth in a completely unreasonable way and asked vaguely:
"I don't know how to hold back..."
"Maybe in the dormitory. I've been practicing spells in an empty classroom today and haven't seen Harry."

Cohen ate his Christmas dinner slowly - of course he didn't touch the turkey on the table at all. It was too disgusting. Even a lot of sauce couldn't cover up the hay-like texture of the meat.

It feels worse than...goulash with potatoes.

There were also many empty seats in the teacher's seats. Only Snape and Dumbledore were talking to each other. The other professors probably went to Hogsmeade for a few drinks.

Cohen glanced at Quirrell's seat; it was empty. Quirrell was probably in the Hog's Head Inn, wearing a hood and playing cards with Hagrid.

There were very few students, and there were only a few people at the dining tables of each college. After all, most students would choose to go home for the holidays - but Cohen noticed a boy with platinum hair at the Slytherin table.

Why didn't Malfoy go home?

Cohen was a little confused - because this guy had specifically said in Potions class before Christmas that "some people have to stay in Hogwarts for Christmas because their families don't want them."

Originally, Malfoy's words were supposed to be directed at Harry, but because Rose and Edward didn't celebrate with Coin this year, Coin was accidentally hurt...

So Malfoy received a little punishment from Cohen. After being dragged into the toilet by Cohen, he was not happy all day - Malfoy's hands were shaking even when he was eating.

Moreover, Cohen saw Malfoy leaving the school with the large group, so why did he return to school so soon?

"I'll take some back to Harry. He must be starving."

Ron, who had eaten and drunk his fill at the speed of light, planned to pack some for Harry, since he hadn't seen Harry at lunch.

"Cohen, are you going back to the dorms? Fred caught a red Christmas elf—though I think it might be a goblin in disguise."

"I'm not full yet." Cohen took a sip of pumpkin soup. "You go back first."

This is because Malfoy is also looking in Coin's direction, and Coin can see the anxiety in Malfoy.

This means that Malfoy is waiting for an opportunity to be alone with Cohen. This kid still can't let go of his face for some unknown reason.

Not until most people in the hall had left, even Dumbledore and Snape, did Malfoy walk towards Cohen hesitantly and reluctantly.

"Your……"

Malfoy looked at Cohen with a wandering look.

"My dad asked me to come and tell you I'm sorry."

"Oh."

Cohen instantly understood why Malfoy suddenly ran over.

"I said I was sorry," Malfoy repeated, as if he found it difficult to say.

"I told you," Cohen repeated.

It seems that Lucius wanted his son to have a good relationship with Cohen - after all, Lucius had a lot of connections in the wizarding world, and he must have known about the existence of Cohen, the "dark magic experiment subject that the Ministry of Magic tried its best to kill but couldn't ten years ago."

So in the first half of the year, Draco didn't dare to speak harshly or play tricks on Harry in the presence of Cohen. He really couldn't help but mock him in the Potions class.

But children often cannot understand the ways of the world, especially the need to lose face to please others.

Coin's reaction was clearly not what Lucius had expected of Draco. Malfoy took a deep breath.

"sorry."

"This is the third time you've said that," Cohen said impatiently. "Just tell me, is your father planning to give me something?"

"How do you know—you put something on me!"

Malfoy asked in horror. He thought of what Cohen had done to him the day before the holiday. He seemed to have cast some kind of spell or curse. All he could think of that day was horrible and desperate things...

"I know everything." Cohen didn't speak out loudly in the auditorium. "Last time, you verbally attacked both me and Harry, so I punished you a little. This apology will put that matter behind us. If you don't get to the point, I'm going back to the dormitory."

"Wait a minute, I have something else to say—" Malfoy saw Cohen stand up and prepare to leave, and said hurriedly:

"My father wants to invite you to Malfoy Manor - any time."

"Why would I go to your house?" Cohen was reluctant. "Besides, I don't have much free time during school—"

Suddenly, Cohen came up with a plan.

About his plan to go to Azkaban.

Although Rose and Edward would never agree to Cohen going there, nor would they let Cohen leave easily for those lame excuses...

But Lucius is different!
The more extreme and evil Coin behaved, the more he would think Coin was a candidate for the next Dark Lord - if he could use the excuse of going to the Malfoys' house...

"What about summer vacation?" Malfoy asked anxiously. Lucius gave him a death order. "Do you have any plans for summer vacation?"

"I don't have any plans for the summer vacation, but you have to find a reason for my parents to let me go with you—just be warned, they probably don't want to have any contact with your family," Cohen said calmly. "If you can't come up with a good idea, you can tell your father about this."

Finally, Malfoy left a small gift box, saying it was an apology gift from his father Lucius to Cohen.

The conversation ended quickly - Malfoy had thought he could restore his relationship with Coin (although there had never been any friendship between them), but Coin's cold attitude made Malfoy think that "apology" was of no use.

There seems to be an exchange of interests between them.

Malfoy ran away for his life, and Coin planned to throw the gift into the Room of Requirement and then go back to the dormitory to sleep.

Studying is against the will of nature, and dying on the way is also very common.

Practicing magic today was the limit of Coen's Christmas holiday plan. In the following days, Coen planned to firmly not open the book, and either go to play with Hagrid or go crazy with the Weasley brothers.

Cohen opened the gift box in the Room of Requirement. Inside was a lake blue gemstone with delicate and dense patterns engraved on it, like some kind of magical item.

"Putting a hot face on a Dementor is a bit too stupid."

After listening to Coin's general explanation, the Earl made a sarcastic sound about the Malfoy family's behavior.

"Dementors are cold, especially little **** like you—"

"Their family has always made a living by standing around."

Cohen said noncommittally:

"From the perspective of family operations, this behavior is very reasonable. If it were me, I would also choose to maintain a good relationship with 'Cohen', this evil creature that can never be killed. It's a pity that Malfoy was not well educated."
