"These are the souls of certain people. Although they have sins, they can still be saved. If there is nothing inside, then that person is gone. You don't need to save those soulless bodies." After saying this, the traveler threw a soul stone to the other side.

"I will remember this incident, and I will remember everything that happened in the legion." Shen said.

"Remember? Whatever you want. Perhaps in the future, you'll thank me for my intervention, which helped this doomed and despised legion turn things around. Of course, if you want to cause trouble for me in the future, I won't object."

"Besides, according to the characteristics of your legion, you won't make things difficult for me just because of a few hundred guys that you may not even like, right?" The traveler said indifferently.

Intrigue and fierce competition are hallmarks of the Night Lords, and they must be experienced. When necessary, the Night Lords are known for their decisiveness and swiftness in slaying their own people, as when Sevatar used teleportation to have Terminators eliminate all those who opposed him in the Nightbat Council. Expecting brotherhood from these people is difficult.

"Remember my words, Sevatar! Restrain and teach your Legion! Your Primarch will be fine, and maybe you can even get some rewards this time." After the Traveler finished speaking, his figure disappeared from the sight of the two.

"This result seems pretty good?" Shen looked at Sevatar.

"That's quite good. He's trying to restrain his killing spree. He's here to solve a problem," Sevatar said. "He uses violence and bloodshed as a tool, and he holds it tightly, preventing it from losing control. He could fling our Primarch across countless light-years, yet he doesn't resort to slaughtering us. He truly possesses remarkable self-control," Sevatar sighed.

Chapter 310 Russ and Curze (5K)

"Yes, his self-control is truly strong." Shen nodded after a moment's contemplation. As the saying goes, a knife in the heart breeds murder. On a chaotic and dangerous battlefield, when a person possesses considerable power, the tendency to use it recklessly becomes almost instinctive. The dangerous environment and one's own immense strength further amplify this tendency. This is a common phenomenon among legions and mortal armies.

In Shen's opinion, for someone who could manipulate the Primarch so easily, after becoming deeply dissatisfied with the Night Lords and deciding to take action, to "only" kill such a small number of people was actually extremely restrained. After all, look at Curze, whose book was written with the blood of hundreds of world rulers. Compared to Curze, this one was a shrewd angel.

But neither Sevatar nor Shen considered the other "cowardly." This was because they could directly deal with a Primarch in a manner bordering on humiliation. This proved their strength and decisiveness. After all, Sevatar and the others knew full well that the Emperor wouldn't be interested in learning about the Night Lords' deaths, even if they were 1 men. However, the Emperor certainly knew that abandoning a Primarch like this was a move that this being dared to take, either with His tacit approval or because He had no other options for dealing with him.

When the other party threw Curze directly out, Sevatar was shocked. He was not only surprised by the other party's strength, but also shocked that this person had the audacity to do so! Wasn't he afraid of the Emperor's blame? However, judging by the result, the other party really didn't seem to care much...

Therefore, as smart as Sevatar is, he can already foresee that if his legion cannot undergo any fundamental changes, then the next time this person comes before him, it will be a sea of blood and corpses. Of course, it is also possible that some of the Emperor's descendants will take the legion away and the Primarch will be incorporated into the punitive forces...

"This matter must be kept strictly confidential, but we must be stricter in managing the Legion," Sevatar ordered. Although the Traveler had caused a major incident, his agile tactics had kept the situation relatively small. They only knew that a certain individual had rebelled against the Legion, and after their Primarch appeared, this individual activated some alien technology and flung the Primarch to another planet, whereupon they vanished. Sevatar announced that the attacker had been eliminated, and later, after the Traveler boarded the ship, he didn't go on a killing spree, which in turn helped others take the matter less seriously. Thus, the incident was kept within a narrow scope.

"Okay, I will take care of this matter. Even for the sake of the Primarch's face, we cannot spread this matter. I will silence and erase the memories of everyone who knows about this matter." Shen nodded and said.

--------

"My lord, we are late." Three days later, Sevatar finally came to Curze with the Black Armored Guards. At this time, their Primarch seemed to be enjoying the life in front of him.

"I'm delighted you're here. You've lived up to my trust and expectations. I'm deeply gratified that you were the first to arrive after I was transported here by the sinister alien device," Curze said with satisfaction. Only Sevatar knew that Curze was putting on a show. The two sides had already "discussed" the details beforehand. The saying goes, "Play your part." That's all there is to it.

"Well, let's continue now. Although I don't like Russ and his wolf pack, our hatred for the aliens is above everything else. Let's get rid of all these greenskins, and then we'll go! Continue to uphold our justice and fairness," said Koz.

"As you command." Sevatar bowed.

"Sevatar, you stay for a moment, the others go down first. Be nice to the people here." Koz ordered.

"My lord, have you communicated with him?" Feeling the changes in the Primarch, Sevatar asked tentatively.

"Yes, I talked to him about many things, including my persistence, my ideas, the justice in my heart, and right and wrong." In the absence of outsiders, Koz admitted it generously.

"Did he convince you?" Sevatar asked.

"Then why couldn't I have convinced him?" Coz asked with a smile.

"The gap is too big... the gap is on all levels." Sevatar said.

"Although it makes people feel uncomfortable, it is the truth after all." Koz said with a complicated expression.

"So, are you ready to lead the Legion onto a new path?"

"I'm thinking about this. Many times, I don't have the answer. I'm used to relying on prophecies because every prediction before was accurate. But now it seems that this is not the case." Koz sighed.

"So, have you decided to fight those dark prophecies now?" asked Sevatar.

"Yes, I always think I am a good person, and I insist on doing my own justice." Coze nodded.

"Then I wish you victory over fate," Sevatar said with a bow. In his opinion, as long as his Primarch wasn't so neurotic, simply standing before the Legion and asserting his presence was a good thing. After all, back when Curze was obsessed with the prophecy, he'd done everything himself! In other words, as long as his Primarch was doing something, it was better than doing nothing...

"My lord, Lord Russ of the Space Wolves Legion wants to speak to you." At this moment, Shen Xiangco, who stayed in the fleet, sent a communication to Koze.

"Looks like we still need to say hello to the owner here." A smile appeared on Curze's face. "I'll return to the Nightfall now, Sevatar. I'll leave things here to you," Curze instructed.

".......Yes, sir." Sevatar accepted the order.

---------

"Thank you, Curze, my brother. Although I don't know why you appear here, I am still grateful for the help you and your legion have brought to my people." Rus's face appeared before Sevatar. His voice was deep and powerful. Unlike the bold and forthright barbarian king in the background, the Rus in this dimension was much more rational and profound, especially after the Traveler's godhood. Life and battle had taught Rus to be more thoughtful and restrained.

"Thank you for the help I provided? Then how are you going to thank you? A verbal statement? Or tell our father about my achievements? And then get a hypocritical reward in return?" Curze grinned, his tone full of teasing. Russ and Curze did not have a good relationship. Russ thought Curze was too cruel and neurotic. And Curze thought Russ was a hypocrite. He used power, cunning means and direct killing to maintain the Legion and his own territory. Curze knew that Russ would sometimes take action against some people on Terra, and so would Ferrus. But for some reason, doing the same thing, Curze was the one who was reprimanded, while Russ and Ferrus could continue to gain their father's trust. This is so unfair, Russ is too cunning. Curze called Russ and Guilliman hypocrites!

"I heard that your legion has 2 people this time?" Russ didn't show any emotion at all because of Koz's sarcasm.

"Yes, 2 people." Koz licked his lips and said.

"I heard that your legion suffered at least 5000 casualties this time?" Rus continued to ask.

"Yes, my legion paid a heavy price." Koz smiled.

"Okay. I will supply you with all the equipment this time. And depending on how many people you lose, I can provide them with special equipment for the corresponding number. I will supply you with the equipment according to my legion standards. If in the end, you lose 7000 people, then fine, I will give you an additional 7000 people with the Centurion Terminator, Iron Wolf Mecha, Giant Mecha and Bear Gunship. I will give you 8 Flying Dragon Gunships as a reward for your help." Russ said.

"...Are you serious?" Curze said, somewhat surprised. After all, the Space Wolves' compensation was quite generous, even for a Legion. For 7000 men, not to mention the equipment, according to the Space Wolves' normal ratio, there should be 400 suits of Centurion Terminator Power Armor! After all, even for the Space Wolves, they couldn't replace all their other Terminator armor with Centurion Terminator Power Armor. And in terms of heavy equipment, Curze could hope to obtain 30 to 50 Bear Gunships this time!

"I never go back on my word," Ruth said.

"Well, okay, Russ, is this how you bribe the other brothers? This time, I'll accept it." Coze's words were still sharp, but those who knew him well knew that Coze was in a good mood at the moment. No man could refuse a big toy, even if that man was the Primarch!

"Ruth, aren't you interested in why I suddenly appear here?" Koz said after thinking for a moment.

"Not interested," Ruth said.

"I was guided here." Koz said after thinking for a moment. He certainly couldn't say that he was thrown here.

"I understand. What next?" Ruth looked at Koz calmly, as if they were discussing what to eat tonight, but at this moment, under Ruth's calm appearance, his mind began to work rapidly.

"Russ, you once had a very good companion. Well... I mean no disrespect, I just ran into someone somewhat similar to him," Koz said carefully. Honestly, the Traveler's presence truly shocked Koz. He was extremely cautious of a being whose abilities exceeded his imagination. Koz knew a little about Balder. It was said that he was last seen fighting an unnamed individual among the Randan aliens, and then disappeared. He never appeared by Rus's side again, and the public account was that he was missing. Koz suspected that this Balder might be of the same level as the one he had encountered.

"So, what do you want to say?" Ruth asked.

"What I want to say is, are there many people like this in the galaxy? Your ally, Khan's former second-in-command, and Perturabo's deputy. Or some other people." Coze's words were full of inquiry.

"There shouldn't be many of them. And they might not have the best tempers," Russ said. In reality, Russ had already gathered a great deal of information from past events. He knew that Balder and the Khan's second-in-command were the same person. He also knew that while the Lord of Radiance and Balder enjoyed equal prestige within the Legion, Russ believed that Balder was far more powerful than the Lord of Radiance. This was not only due to Balder's near-miraculous presence during the Randan War, but also because the Lord of Radiance held Balder in high esteem. In Rus's mind, he believed that Balder was a unique being, beneath the Emperor and above the Primarchs. Beyond that, beings like the Lord of Radiance and certain others were in a different league. He was also certain that these individuals wouldn't be numerous.

After all, judging by the current situation, these super-sized beings are willing to help the Emperor restore the glory of human civilization, even at the cost of their own lives. And if there were so many of them, what would the Emperor need his own Primarchs for? Russ felt Malcador was far inferior to Balder. Yet, Malcador was second only to the Imperium. Based on this analysis, Russ could also deduce that these super-sized beings might not appreciate the direct constraints of superiors and subordinates. Simply put, it's fine for me to be your friend and offer you assistance. But it's not okay for you to treat me like a subordinate and command me. As for this arrogance, Russ expressed his understanding, based on strength and friendship...

"Don't you think that these unreasonably powerful and even somewhat reckless people are a threat to the empire and to us?" Koz said. The Traveler's strength made him uneasy. Although he agreed with some of the Traveler's words, no one wanted to face someone who was hostile to him and could break his neck at any time.

"Coz, to many mortals, aren't you and your legion the same existence? You are powerful, especially as the Primarch. Like our other brothers, you are revered by mortals and called a demigod. But it is obvious that your cruelty and neurosis make mortals afraid, and their views on you may be very similar to the way you view some people." Russ said.

"Do you know them?" Coze asked.

"I don't need to understand them. After all, they didn't cause me any trouble. But you, my brother, think about it carefully. This guy may have used some harsh methods, but he definitely came with good intentions and used his strength very restrainedly. He didn't even leave a wound on you." Russ had already guessed what his brother had experienced. He didn't want to comment on the actions of this senior whom he had never met. After all, Russ was the actual beneficiary. And what about Coze himself? He didn't have any wounds from the other party, so let this matter go. The so-called ignorance is just like this. Some things can't be taken seriously, just like when he and Zhuangsen "made friends through boxing", and now they are still on good terms, right?

"So, you're still speaking for him?" Coze raised his voice.

"My brother, only you know your true feelings. You don't need to use words to disguise your anger in front of me. You are in excellent spirits, not like you would be in a rage." Russ said with a smile. "These powerful elders are always helping us solve problems. They help us fight the terrifying Randan xenos, and sometimes they also help resolve the Primarch's minor emotions."

"I'm sorry, Koz, I'm not very good at persuading or comforting people, but I'm really happy to see your changes. From the conversation and expression just now, I can feel that you have a feeling of relief and hope. I wish you all the best in the future." Ruth said sincerely.

"Haha, your sense of smell is just like those wolves." Koz sneered.

"If this makes you happier, I'm willing to accept it." Russ said indifferently. After all, his legion was the Space Wolves!

"But don't you want to explore the secrets of these people? They are so powerful that even our father cannot control them." Koz's eyes rolled and he continued. He didn't want to end the conversation like this, because it would make him feel that he had no secrets in front of Russ, as if everything was seen through, which made him very unhappy!

"Noble pursuits and goals, a tenacious heart, a strong will, cunning and wisdom, and the ability to seize fleeting opportunities and inspiration. Do you think we possess these qualities now?" Russ asked. "If it were so easy to forge such a being, then the Primarch wouldn't be necessary."

"Has your ally ever mentioned it to you?" asked Koz.

"He said that we are still a toddler in the galaxy, struggling to advance on the turbulent seashore. We don't know when the malice in the galaxy will target us. We have a long life to pursue all kinds of beauty. But we must guard against arrogance and impatience, and resist temptation. After all, among the countless heretics and aliens we have eliminated, there are too many precedents of going astray." Rus said.

"What a boring thing to say." Coze laughed and cut off the conversation.

--------

"A hundred years." Russ sighed as he sat upright on the throne. He looked at the seat next to him, the one always reserved for his ally, and a mixture of emotions washed over him. His ally had been gone for so long, a century without any news, and the same was true for the Khan. But today, as Koz confided in him, Russ felt something.

"How could this world contain so many transcendent beings?" Russ muttered to himself. "Could he be my ally? Is his return an illusion or a reincarnation? Or, as he once said, is a war even greater and more intense about to begin? Is the evil of the Warp finally breaking free?"

"So how many of our brothers will be bewitched this time?" Russ had already vaguely sensed that something was wrong. He was worried about the situation of many of his brothers, whether it was the so-called perfectionist and even distorted Fulgrim, the arrogant Magnus, the violent Angron, or the sick and neurotic Curze. These all made Russ feel uneasy, and unless it was absolutely necessary, Russ really didn't want to go to war with his brothers.

And just after leaving the night, the travelers who were wandering in the Milky Way unexpectedly discovered something interesting. Lorgar and his confidants seemed to be exploring a relic of their own!

Chapter 311 Luo Jia: Isn't this dog a waste? (6K)

"My lord, there is nothing here worth your coming here to find in person." Erebas walked forward and bowed.

"Really? Don't you feel that this place is somewhat similar to what we have encountered before and what we are worshipping now? That kind of great existence that transcends reality and time, and their breath." Lorgar walked among the ruins, his keen spiritual sense capturing the information in it, like a predator that smells meat, unwilling to give up even a little.

"My lord, according to our information, this is a profane temple dedicated to the Traveler. Compared to the great Lord of the Void, the Traveler is just a false god, one not worth mentioning..." Before Erebas could finish his words, he suddenly felt dazed and stopped talking.

"Erebus, your performance has deepened my understanding of a phrase: strong on the outside, weak on the inside." Lorgar glanced at the chief dark apostle with his golden eyes, his gaze filled with an inexplicable color.

Although the fortunes of Chaos are gathering, and although Erebus and Lorgar have received the protection and blessings of the Chaos Gods, and although Lorgar has now completed his so-called pilgrimage and decided to serve the Dark Gods, they are still mortals after all! Indeed, even the most noble Primarchs are still mortals in the eyes of the true superiors. Although under the protection of fate and the Chaos Gods, the Traveler cannot just go down and cut down these two men right now. Even under normal circumstances, the Traveler would hardly know what these guys are doing, but today, unfortunately, you dare to come to where I once stayed and speak ill of me. It is not a problem to teach you a lesson.

"My Lord..." Erebus said, pointing to the empty hall. "You have witnessed the might of the Chaos Gods. They will grant us and humanity extraordinary power, provided we offer our loyalty. In the future, we will gain everything, we will become perfect, and humanity will have a new future. And those false..." Erebus suddenly felt as if his throat were being restrained by some powerful force, followed by a piercing pain in his soul. At this moment, the power of the Chaos Gods saved him. He fell to the ground, gasping for breath, and beads of sweat stained with blood dripped down his bald head. Lorgar watched all this with indifference.

"Travelers are gods, too. Even the Chaos Gods can't deny that. But we are not gods." Lorgar's calm tone was tinged with a different emotion. He then continued walking through the collapsed building, seemingly searching for something.

"Haha, interesting." The Traveler laughed, vaguely sensing Lorgar's thoughts. A sense of loss and even a hint of regret! In this plane, the Emperor didn't destroy the Perfect City, nor did he force Lorgar and the entire Word Bearers Legion to kneel before him and Guilliman. But as the destined Chosen of Chaos, Lorgar was ultimately guided by the evil gods' machinations and fate onto his predestined path. And at its core, excluding the interference of fate and divine power, the most fundamental reason was Lorgar's own admiration for power and authority.

Lorgar was a very rational and intelligent person. One could even say that, aside from his limited fighting abilities, he was a near-perfect Primarch. He also had a profound understanding of many issues. For example, was he wrong to worship the Emperor as a god? In fact, he was right! The Emperor was essentially a god walking on earth! In this respect, Lorgar far surpassed other Primarchs.

In this plane, Lorgar had indeed betrayed the Emperor and thrown himself into the arms of the Four Gods. His reason for submitting to the Four Gods was simple: they were stronger and more generous. Well, at least previously, whether it was the formidable combat prowess of the first "Blessed Children" or his own "enlightenment," Lorgar had sensed the power of the Chaos Gods.

But after getting on the pirate ship, while communicating with those demons, Luo Jia suddenly discovered some problems, and found that the demons had lied to him on some key issues!

Initially, Lorgar felt his theory was sound. The Chaos Gods were even more powerful, even stronger than his own father. The Chaos Gods were true gods, while his own father and the Traveler, worshipped by the Mechanicus, the Navigators, and the sailors, were false gods. As believers in the true gods, defeating the false gods was a natural consequence. But then, during their conversation, Lorgar suddenly felt that the "false" in the Emperor and the Traveler—the so-called "false gods"—belonged to questionable grounds.

In their conversations with the demons, they diligently avoided describing the Emperor and the Traveler. They simply called the Emperor an abomination. And the Traveler, they called him the Invisible Lord. These demons would avoid mentioning either of these beings if possible! Their fear was palpable. Lorgar knew that demons were difficult to truly kill. There weren't many things that truly frightened demons. Besides the wrath of their respective deities, perhaps some means of completely slaying them were necessary. Lorgar felt that both his father and the Traveler possessed this ability, and their power was so immense that any further mention would be perceived by them and might even result in punishment.

Lorgar himself was a powerful psyker, with extensive knowledge of the Warp and the gods, so he understood the demons' concerns. Perhaps addressing or slandering the Emperor and the Traveler wasn't a problem right now, but the gods had been doing it for far too long. As a demon, you could evade their schemes countless times, but if they succeeded just once, you were doomed! So, if you were a demon, would you be afraid?

Then, after realizing this, Lorgar immediately felt that the demon ascension ceremony that the Four Gods would bestow upon him in the future was not so appealing. After all, as a Primarch, he was powerful. After the Emperor and the Legion had almost completely eliminated the evil spirits in the galaxy, there were not many who could pose a serious threat to the Primarch. But the problem now was that before his demon ascension, the Emperor and a certain being called the Traveler could stab him to death, and after his ascension, the enemy could still kill him. So what was the point of this demon ascension? Moreover, after the demon ascension, entering the physical universe was still so difficult. Even the Primarch's ability to produce gene-seed was gone, which was a kind of "sterilization". It would become extremely difficult for his Legion to expand.

As a sufficiently outstanding Primarch, Lorgar knew that his offspring were his most reliable strength. Just like the relationship between demons and evil gods, the former served as the latter's lackeys, while the latter provided the former with shelter and strength!

After poring over countless documents, sacrificing countless souls, conversing with demons, and even personally researching certain details about the Traveler during the Battle of Randan, Lorgar's understanding of the Traveler was arguably the most in-depth of the Primarchs! First and foremost, he was certain that the Chaos Gods knew of the Traveler's existence and had targeted him for countless years. Yet, despite the Chaos Gods' constant targeting and attacks, the Traveler had survived from ancient times to the present day, growing stronger and stronger! This was undoubtedly a slap in the face of the Chaos Gods. After all, to ordinary believers, their gods were so great. Yet, after tens of thousands of years, they couldn't handle a "mortal" who had made it from primitive man to the present day. Was their gods simply too weak and debased, or was it that the other party was no longer "mortal"?

In Lorgar's view, the Emperor's existence, having fought against the Heretic God from the beginning to the present day, and even becoming the ruler of the human empire, was already quite excessive. And now, suddenly, he discovered that there was someone who had slapped the Heretic God in the face for so long. Honestly, Lorgar had a rather negative impression of his new master...

After pondering these questions, Lorgar began to hypothesize that the cause of this situation wasn't that his own evil god was too weak, but that the opponent was too strong. After all, based on his knowledge, he had never seen a being stronger than an evil god. So this assumption was understandable. If this were the case, then a conclusion could be drawn: it wasn't that his own side wasn't strong enough, but that the opponent was too strong, so strong that they could silence the demons and force the evil gods to take notice. Simply put, the opponent had also become a god. Unlike those evil gods born from primordial evil and naturally awesome, this guy had risen to the throne step by step through his own abilities!

When Luo Jia thought of this, his heart skipped a beat. He thought to himself: This senior is truly amazing. All the things I've worked so hard for, even betraying my faith and loyalty, are nothing to this being! It's like a gangster betraying his boss, only to be a lackey on the other side. But this person has turned the tables and become the boss himself!

As the saying goes, the more you know, the more you think. As Lorgar felt the Chaos God's immense power, he also sensed the vast gap between gods and so-called "mortals." Despite those demons' frequent claims of fate and their contempt for humanity as mere mortals, in reality, when facing a god, what difference did they make from mortals? There was no one behind them; if they said I'd kill you, I'd kill you. Lorgar suddenly wondered if he'd made a bad deal.

What did Lorgar seek? He sought power and authority. It could even be said that faith was merely a tool for him, a bargaining chip to usurp advantage. The Emperor could grant him legions and status, so he believed in him. The Chaos Gods could grant him power and allow him to ascend to the daemon realm, so he turned to them. Perhaps he did consider whether faith in the Chaos Gods could bring about human advancement, but that was not the most important thing.

Lorgar knew the Four Gods couldn't descend into the physical universe. What was he after? He was roaming the galaxy as the agents of the evil gods. In a theocratic society, who held the greatest power? The gods? No! Because the gods couldn't directly interfere in the real world; it was the popes and emissaries who existed in their names! So, Lorgar's plan was simple: the Four Gods would be his overlord, and then he could rule the physical universe in their name... That was what he wanted! What did Lorgar truly care about? His own self-interest! So, he chose Undivided Chaos. His idea was simple: to get something for free from both sides!

This time, Lorgar's fundamental purpose in visiting the Traveler's former location was to explore the Traveler's past and discover his path to godhood. Indeed, Lorgar had realized that if he followed the Four Gods, they wouldn't allow their subordinates to become like them. Reaching the level of a Great Demon would be the ultimate. Looking at those Great Demons who had lived for who knows how many years, was there any chance they could become gods? No! Not at all!

"I have embarked on a path whose end can be seen right now." Lorgar once commented on himself in this way, because he knew that if he continued on this path, he would become the Demon Primarch of Chaos Undivided, but he would always be a Demon Primarch.

"Haha, interesting." A smile crossed the Traveler's lips as he watched Lorgar traversing the ruins. The Chaos God's pawn had developed a mind of its own. Although Lorgar was already on board, given his current state of mind, it was still possible to exploit him. After all, if the Word Bearers simply worked without putting in the effort, the pressure on humanity would be less.

--------

"A mirror?" Lorgar gazed at the shattered mirror before him, lost in thought. This ruin had existed for thousands of years. According to a certain great demon, countless demons and travelers had fought a fierce battle here in order to kill someone, with the latter fighting his way through the horde. Finding a mirror thousands of years old amidst such ruins was truly absurd. This piqued Lorgar's interest.

"Hmm?" When Lorgar looked at himself in the mirror, he was surprised to find that he was holding the warhammer in his left hand, but the person in the mirror was holding it in his right hand. He concentrated and tried to see more clearly, but he was surprised to find that the figure in the mirror gradually changed. It was no longer Lorgar himself, but his brother, a familiar figure.

"Guilliman?!" Lorgar exclaimed. He suddenly recalled the image of himself in the mirror, the one holding the warhammer in his right hand. He vaguely realized what this mysterious mirror was all about. Was it the opposite of me? First, it was just a distortion of appearance, but now it was a distortion of essence?

"Haha, interesting, my other side is Guilliman?" Lorgar said with a wry smile. "But you are right, my other side is Guilliman." Lorgar nodded to show his agreement with the mirror's judgment.

"In essence, Guilliman and I are both rulers of the world, and our positions with the Sigillites are very realistic. I chose to govern civilization with religion and faith. Guilliman chose to govern with administration and reason. I embraced the Warp and acknowledged my essence. Guilliman refused to acknowledge psychic power. I chose to betray my father, while he chose loyalty. We are two sides of the same coin. Two choices for the same goal." Lorgar said with a wry smile.

"Primarch, why are you here?" Just as Lorgar was lost in thought, Erebus, who had recovered his breath, ran over. He followed closely behind the Primarch and appeared in the mirror. Lorgar looked at Erebus in the mirror. A moment later, the figure inside turned into his most admired legionnaire, Angertai!

"Haha, a conspirator, a puppet of the Chaos God." Lorgar said in his heart. When he looked at the Dark Apostle again, he perfectly concealed his dissatisfaction and contempt.

Angertai is one of Lorgar's favorite subordinates. Though his position is not high, he represents Lorgar's vision of a future where the power of the Warp gods and humanity merge perfectly. Angertai can freely switch between his enchanted warrior and normal forms, maintaining his sanity and rationality. The demon within Angertai is more like a friend and brother to him. (In the background, Ram, the demon within Angertai, does say that the two are like brothers, their relationship is very close.)

If this mirror reflected the opposite, then Erebus before him was the product of the Warp's complete control and corruption of humanity. This disgusted Lorgar. At least for now, Lorgar still hoped to use the power of the evil god to complete humanity's sublimation, just like in the background, when Lorgar discovered that Fulgrim was controlled by the devil, he directly hit Fulgrim with his warhammer, leaving him with a bruised face.

"This mirror has existed for too long. It's as if it has traveled through time and space." Lorgar said meaningfully.

"Haha, it's just a dilapidated relic. You still have greater things to do." said Erebas.

"I am the messenger of the gods! I don't need you to tell me what to do!" Lorgar turned around suddenly, and the hammer in his hand almost passed by Erebus's nose.

"Sir... I..." Erebus tried to defend himself.

"Get away! Stay away from me!" Lorgar scolded. He had already realized that Erebus could not see any information from this mirror that could reflect the opposite side.
