However, just when Perturabo thought he could finally catch his breath, the Randan aliens unleashed their latest blasphemous technology. This alien equipment, known as "parasitic wasps," could attach itself to the bodies of battle robots, and through this blasphemous technology, they could counter-control these powerful combat machines. First, the Mechanicus's Castellan robots defected, followed by Perturabo's prided Iron Ring robots. The latter's defection immediately put the entire flagship in jeopardy.

At this moment, the Lord of Radiance appeared, personally leading over a dozen Extinction Relics to block the enemy's attacks and slay several Soul Eaters. However, even though Perturabo ultimately managed to save his flagship, the Glorious Queen-class battleship, resembling a mountain of steel, was still scarred.

Ultimately, the Iron Warriors won the battle thanks to their massive fleet and their decisiveness in firing upon captured and occupied warships when necessary. The traitors and Randan aliens fled in panic, fleeing to the battlefield the Imperium had originally prepared for them. However, the Iron Warriors also suffered heavy losses, forcing Perturabo to wait for a fleet to be deployed from elsewhere before embarking on a new expedition.

"You're here." Perturabo turned and looked at the Lord of Radiance at the door. "We were wary of the Randan alien's mind-controlling abilities, but unexpectedly, they were so outmatched in my area of expertise. How ironic."

As a Legion participating in the Battle of Randan, they were bound to defend against telekinesis. If the Space Wolves' method was to use psionic energy to counter psionic energy, the Fourth Legion's approach was far more drastic. They implanted a non-invasive chip in the skin. When exposed to telekinesis, the chip would emit electromagnetic waves to "alert" the subject. Essentially, it was a form of electrotherapy. To hunt down those capable of telekinesis, Perturabo also developed passive psionic detectors and specialized hunting units. Combined with the Radiant Lord's extinction machine, this proved to be a viable option.

Of course, another important reason is that the Iron Warriors Legion has a very fast growth rate, the gene seed is very adaptable, and coupled with the recruitment of soldiers from all over the place, in every battle, the Iron Warriors Legion has an advantage in manpower and firepower!

But the Randan aliens also learn war through war. In the battle that just ended, the parasitic wasp micro-drones nearly caused Boss Pi to lose his car. The extinction remnants are immune, but their number is too small and their production capacity is extremely low!

"Get used to it slowly. We might encounter even more bizarre things in the future. Just focus on our own affairs." The Lord of Radiance sighed as well. The Randan aliens' technology did indeed put him under immense pressure. It wasn't that their technology had surpassed the Lord of Radiance's, but rather that their technology and production capacity were capable of overwhelming him. As for the metaphysical side, that was even more of a stretch. The Randan Lord dominated the world. If it weren't for the Emperor and the Traveler, the Lord of Radiance would have decisively retreated to a corner of the galaxy, perhaps even ventured beyond it.

"Do our own thing?" Perturabo pondered for a moment, then silently nodded in agreement. In fact, Perturabo had already felt immense pressure when dealing with the Soul Eaters. In actual combat, two or three Soul Eaters simultaneously presented a formidable challenge. These creatures weren't the most terrifying of the Randan aliens. Those Masterminds, even the Supreme Masterminds, who had only been heard of but never seen, were surely far more terrifying. Perturabo had already begun considering adding psykers to his legion. Some of the legion's equipment needed updating.

Rather than commanding the Legion, Perturabo suddenly discovered that it would be more comfortable to hand over the affairs of the Legion to the Lord of Radiance and immerse himself in research and science. When he returned to his workshop, the terrifying aliens, the annoying offspring, and the things he disliked would all be isolated outside the door. He enjoyed the feeling of being immersed in the atmosphere of scientific research and creation. It would be even better if he had a few brothers or beings of the same level to discuss with him.

"Also, here's new information. In the galaxy where we last ambushed, the rebel Randan xenos discovered a portal and are trying to open it. So, we must annihilate them before they can open it. The Emperor's Guards and the First Legion are responsible for attacking the rebel Primarchs and Legions, while we will work with Dorn and the Seventh Legion to destroy the portal and the Randan xenos." The Lord of Radiance said to Perturabo, handing over a data tablet.

"Dorn? I've heard of this brother. Father used him as his personal guard, always by his side. Their record is impressive," Perturabo said thoughtfully after reading the whole thing. Perturabo had no objection to Jonson's responsibility for killing his rebellious brothers. While he was willing to share his father's burden, he found the killing of his own brothers somewhat difficult to accept. However, if it was against the xenomorphs, then that would be much easier.

"I think you should meet with Dorn. After all, this time, the Iron Warriors will fight together with the Imperial Fists, and we will be responsible for a strategic direction." said the Lord of Radiance.

"I think so too. I want to see what a legion that stands beside my father as a guard is capable of." A smile played on Perturabo's lips. "Dorn and his legion call themselves stone, and we are steel. Who do you think is stronger, me or him?"

"That's a rather abrupt question." The Radiant Lord sat down across from Perturabo. "I thought you'd compare yourself to Ferrus. You're so similar, both technically brilliant, both skilled in mechanized frontal combat, both possessing the Legion's strongest armor and artillery. Why are you thinking of Dornbi?"

"I admire Ferrus," Perturabo said. "He's a great commander, a man who strives for excellence and excels in tactics and calculation. He enjoys the support of his sons and brothers. He listens well to others' opinions and has established his own systems and alliances. And I, on the other hand, am not a very likable person. I despise those weaker than me, but at the same time, I struggle to control those like me. The unity of humanity and rationality you seek is embodied in Ferrus."

Perturabo sighed. He knew his Fourth Legion was unpopular, and he knew his descendants feared him. He longed for recognition, but unfortunately, there were too few poems recording and singing his and his legion's stories. Technically speaking, Perturabo believed Ferrus was more comprehensive and more convincing than himself.

"Then why did you choose Dorne?" asked the Lord of Radiance.

"Because Dorn and I are both unpopular." An inexplicable smile appeared on Perturabo's lips.

"I don't understand what you are saying. There are many people who admire the Fist of the Empire." said the Lord of Radiance.

"No, you don't understand. You don't understand the king's schemes. As the closest legion to the Emperor, Dorn is destined to keep a considerable distance from his other brothers. Perhaps people from other legions are willing to fight alongside the Seventh Legion, but my brother is destined not to be close to other brothers. The monarch's guards are destined to be lonely." Perturabo said.

"My legion and I need to find an opponent as our goal. Ferrus and Horus are too high. Mortarion, Clarks and others are too low. I feel that Dorn is just right. What do you think?" asked Perturabo.

"We are definitely stronger." The Lord of Glory said indifferently.

"Why?" Perturabo was slightly taken aback by the Lord of Radiance's attitude.

With a snap, the Lord of Radiance placed his hand on Perturabo's shoulder. He leaned close to Perturabo's face and said, "Because you have me! I am also a member of the Fourth Legion."

"Damn it! You narcissistic guy!" Perturabo was stunned at first, then he pushed the Lord of Radiance aside with a smile and cursed, and picked up his warhammer, making a gesture to attack.

"But you're right, you're truly an indispensable part of the Fourth Legion," Perturabo said with emotion. "Especially when I want some quiet time, pursuing technology and creativity, I always need someone to help me manage my unpromising offspring. They can be quite a headache sometimes."

"Well, let's get to work," Perturabo said after the two of them had some fun. While Jonson and Perturabo were getting ready, Dorn was doing something similar.

--------

"It's a bit hasty," Dorn said, lowering his datapad and frowning slightly. The Emperor's order was sudden and urgent. Having just finished a battle, Dorn had no time to rest before joining the war against his rebellious brothers. In fact, in previous battles, some of Dorn's legion had already intervened in the Randan War, but his understanding of the Randan xenos was still limited.

Furthermore, preparations were rushed. The Phalanx was unable to make it to the battle due to its limited mobility, and the Seventh Legion's vaunted fleet could only deploy some of its high-speed warships. This was the only way Dorne could reach the battlefield within the allotted time.

However, Dorn had no complaints, as many of his brothers and legions had already joined the war, using their blood and sacrifice to curb the offensive of the Randan aliens and inflict heavy damage on their opponents. Now, it was obviously a little late for him to join the war, so he tried his best to prepare for the battle and waited for it to come.

"My lord, you are looking for me." Sigismund came to Dorn.

"Yes, you have already read the communications from the Imperial Guard and the First Legion. Tell me what you think about this war." Dorn looked at his most outstanding offspring and said.

"The punishment of the traitorous Primarch and Legion will be the responsibility of the Custodians and the First Legion, while we and the Fourth Legion will be responsible for covering the warships of the Emperor's Chamber as they approach the portal and then cut them off. In our battlefield, the Fourth Legion has more troops and fleets, and possesses more heavy warships and siege equipment, so they will be the main force of the attack. Our fleet is mainly composed of fast warships. Obviously, our mission is to cover the Fourth Legion's assault on both sides."

"This will be a difficult task. We lack enough heavy warships, so our fleet will be in trouble when facing the assault of Randan's heavy warships. Therefore, we must take advantage of mobile warfare, rely on a large number of fast warships, take the initiative, and continuously launch short and fierce raids on the Randan fleet. I recommend Captain Plax as the commander-in-chief of the fast fleet. He has very good attainments in fleet mobile warfare." Sigismund said.

"Plax? He's indeed a very good commander." Dorn thought of the newcomer he had promoted because of his skills. He nodded slightly and said, "And then?"

"Then I think that our large warships, especially your flagship, need to be prepared for boarding defense battles, because the aliens in Randan are also proficient in boarding battles, and for some unknown reasons, they can always find our flagship in the fleet and always send swarms of bone eaters and brain eaters to the warships." Sigismund said.

"You are right, so the safety of the flagship will be left to you. Lin Wai, I need to redistribute the defensive forces on the large warships. The simple Terminators and mechas are no longer sufficient to meet the mission requirements. I will also arrange some knight mechas and even small Titans." Dorn said.

"Uh..." Sigismund was stunned. He hadn't expected his Primarch to deploy a full-scale knight unit on a warship. He finally understood why Dorn had brought nearly every knight mech he could muster before rushing to the battlefield, even risking offending certain Forge Worlds by signing contracts with certain knight families.

"Someone hiding in the shadows gave me a heads-up," Dorn said with a long sigh. "It's always better to be prepared. Those contracts with the Knights seem taboo, but in reality, some Forge Worlds are taking things too far. Remember what you and Plexiglas recovered? They cleared the traces, but not thoroughly enough."

In this era, the Legion was still overwhelmingly powerful. The clues Dorn later uncovered weren't enough to accuse a single Legion, but they were enough to accuse a Forge World and force compensation. After bargaining with a Forge World's Forge General, the latter agreed to a direct contract between the Legion and the Knight Houses of that Forge World, and the matter was settled. Having experienced so many wars and witnessed the actions of his fellow Legions, Dorn began to feel a little less powerful... A mountain formation alone might not be enough to hold the forge in check!

"My lord, the psychics of the Randan aliens are also very powerful, and the number of think tanks within the legion may be insufficient." Sigismund said.

"Are there not enough think tanks?" Dorn looked at Sigismund with some confusion, genuinely surprised he could say such a thing. Dorn himself was actually very cautious about psykers, calling them a "necessary compromise" within the Legion. His descendants were equally unfriendly to them, especially Sigismund, who was quite reluctant to fight alongside them.

"We use our blades to protect humanity and the Empire, but blades alone are not enough," Sigismund said, somewhat embarrassed. During a battle with Randane, Sigismund was psychically hurled against a wall by a Soul Eater. However, he was rescued by a mysterious warrior, seemingly named Ahriman. Ahriman's staff shone with a terrifying blue psychic flame. After a fierce battle, the Soul Eater, who had slain at least 30 soldiers of the Seventh Legion, was reduced to ash, leaving Sigismund deeply shocked. He tried to prove himself, believing that the sword in his hand could solve everything, but the war had given him the opportunity, and he was useless!

"In the future, maybe I will discuss this matter, but it is definitely too late now. However, my father provided the Legion with the Sisters of Silence. They are Untouchables and are specifically used to deal with psychics. I have also specially organized a force. Their weapons are stained with the blood of Untouchables. They will be the nemesis of the Brain Eaters." Dorn said.

Afterwards, Dorn made a series of arrangements with his descendants. In a higher dimension, the Emperor and the Traveler were overlooking everything, not only the Legions and Primarchs loyal to humanity, but also their enemies.

"I will deal with that rebellious son, and you will be responsible for closing the portal." said the Emperor.

"No problem," the Traveler nodded. The traitorous Primarch had ascended to Supreme Mastermind, a biological power higher than any Primarch who hadn't awakened to the Warp's essence. Even if awakened, everyone's power was the same, but the power was still insufficient! Therefore, what Jonson and the Custodians undertook was more of a ritual than a battle. When Jonson and his 500 men faced the traitor, the power bestowed by the Emperor was the key to Jonson's slaying.

Perturabo and Dorn similarly deployed the same strategy, sending the Emperor's Acolytes' warships to the location, and then the Traveler personally closed the portal. This was a perfect match for their expertise. When the ritual reached its final moments, everything would fall into place, and the Randan Overlord would be unable to stop it, as He was too far away. However, the Randan xenos could disrupt the ritual before it could be completed. If Jonson could not confront the traitorous Primarch, or if the Fourth and Seventh Legions could not deliver the Acolytes' warships to the designated location, then the Randan side would be victorious.

Chapter 255: Calm Down, Dorne! (8K)

When the three Legions arrived on the battlefield, the meeting between the Primarchs and the Emperor's Guards was held aboard a Custodian warship. After all, they were all Primarchs, and choosing one's flagship for the meeting would be unfair to the other two. Furthermore, the Dark Angels' flagship held too many secrets and undisclosed items, and Jonson was reluctant to allow outsiders aboard. Perturabo also didn't want his brothers aboard his Iron Blood just yet. The reason was simple: Dantioch was still repairing his flagship, which had been severely damaged by the boarding battle. As for Dorn? He had the smallest number of men among the three Legions, so it wasn't appropriate either. Ultimately, it became a tacit agreement and the only option for the three Primarchs to board the flagship of the Emperor's Guards.

"Or I won't go." The Lord of Radiance said to Perturabo who was preparing.

"Why? This is a memorable occasion. I will demonstrate the bravery and might of the Fourth Legion to my father's guards and my brothers from the other legions. How can you not go?" Perturabo gestured for the attendants to step aside and addressed the Lord of Radiance. If any of his descendants refused his command, he would stroke their cheeks with his palm, but that would have no effect on the Lord of Radiance. He was stubborn!

"I've read the information. Your brother Dorn is a rigid person who doesn't know how to restrain himself. In short, he is as hard as a rock. I'm worried that he might overreact when he sees me. And then it will cause some trouble for you and your legion." said the Lord of Radiance.

"Trouble?" Perturabo tapped his chin with his hand. Then he smiled cunningly: "I'm not afraid of trouble. Are you afraid of trouble?"

"Me? How could that be?" The Lord of Radiance snorted coldly. "Except your father, no one in the human empire could possibly trouble me." As a top-tier AI that had lived for over 1 years, having survived the Iron Man Rebellion and the fall of the Eldar, the Lord of Radiance was not without pride. After all, even Trazyn was a problem to him.

"That's great. We are not afraid of trouble, so let's give my brother some shocks from the ancient golden age." Perturabo said with a smile. Although he was reluctant to admit it, in his heart, Perturabo still had a different spirit from Dorn, the competitor he had chosen.

"Emmmm, okay." The Lord of Glory had no objection.

--------

"Are they all here?" Jonson arrived first. Since the Custodians and the First Legion had already arrived, it was only natural for Jonson to wait for his brothers. Beside him was Constantine Waldo, the commander of the Custodians. He checked the time, estimated the arrival time of the two Primarchs, stepped forward, and dismissed the Custodians beside him.

"Sir Zhuangsen, please excuse me for a moment." Waldo said.

"Okay." Zhuang Sen hesitated for a moment about Waldo's behavior, and then asked the servants around him to move away.

"Within your brother Perturabo's legion lies a special being, a true, unrestricted artificial intelligence from the Ancient Golden Age," Valdor said.

"Is my brother in danger? Do I need to take action?" Upon hearing this, Zhuang Sen's pupils shrank into needle-like shapes, foreshadowing danger, like a cat ready to hunt. He unconsciously tightened his grip on his weapon. After all, Zhuang Sen knew the terrifying nature of these abominations handed down from the Golden Age, even though they were restricted and neutered. A fully developed AI would surely be even more terrifying and cunning! These things were no match for the AI in the Dragon Gunship.

"No, he has already reached an unbreakable agreement with the Emperor," Waldo said. "Just a reminder. I hope you won't lose your composure when the time comes."

"Are you sure there's no problem? He may be reliable, but his creations..." Zhuang Sen asked.

"It's still under control, and the Emperor has assigned someone to be in charge," Waldo said.

"Well, that's good." Zhuang Sen nodded. After confirming that it was safe, he had no interest in the secrets behind the emperor, but he still set his eyes on the emperor's attendants not far away. He could feel the other party's strength, which was stronger than the imperial guards and more mysterious.

"But if he appears in front of me, I will arrange for someone to keep an eye on him," said Zhuang Sen.

"As you wish, Lion King," said Waldo.

Waldor's persuasion of Jonson went smoothly, but on the other side, the Emperor's attendant Adinis's persuasion of Dorne was not so smooth.

"You're telling me that a completely unrestricted Iron Man, one who even participated in the Iron Man Rebellion, was able to openly join my brother's Legion, and my brother accepted him and treated him as a trusted aide?" Dorn said with a twisted expression after hearing Adinis's introduction. People have flexible moral boundaries, and so do Primarchs. While Dorn recognized some "issues" in the Machine Souls of the subsequent Bear and Dragon gunships, he considered these "problems" tolerable. But if the other party was an Iron Man from the Golden Age, that would be a different story.

"Listen to me, Lord Dorn, this Iron Man can be completely controlled. He is loyal to humanity and the Emperor. He even fought a desperate battle with the rebellious Iron Man thousands of years ago to protect humanity. He is trustworthy." Adinis waved his hand, and an invisible energy field isolated the room, isolating the two from Sigismund and others outside.

"Who can define his credibility? They are brutal and cunning, and of course, most importantly, they are ambitious. In areas where our rules are not yet fully defined, they are always doing something out of line, either overtly or covertly. Although my father is great, it is obviously impossible to keep an eye on him! I must tell my brothers to keep a close eye on this guy. I will even ask my father to entrust this dangerous and difficult task to me!" Dorn roared loudly.

It's no wonder Dorn reacted so violently. In a previous battle, Dorn and his legion had just cleansed a planet controlled by an AI. The AI had implanted neural control systems in every person, even training its psykers like livestock, burning their souls and spirits for navigation with some kind of special device. All this evil had made Dorn believe the planet wasn't worth saving. Then, after clearing the AI fleet in outer orbit, he used a dozen bipolar and vortex torpedoes to blast the planet to pieces!

In this war, Dorn was deeply impressed by the darkness and fear of the AI, as well as their excellent war weapons and strategies. Dorn believed that if this AI with huge potential could not be destroyed, it must be strictly restricted and controlled, rather than being allowed to act as a loyal minister of the Legion and walk around at will.

"Your father can control it," Adinis said.

"My father is great, but who can guarantee that nothing will go wrong when he turns his attention elsewhere because of the need? This kind of existence should be placed in a static position, and only when it is used can it give them a moment of clarity." Dorn said firmly.

"Uh..." Dorn's words left Adinis speechless. After all, Adinis couldn't tell Dorn that his father was on the verge of becoming a god and had signed a pact with this AI along with another being. Under the combined influence of divine power and fate, the latter was now safe. As a high-ranking figure in the Chamber of Attendants, Adinis knew even more than Malcador in some aspects, but it was obvious that he couldn't explain it clearly to Dorn!

"I want to contact my father, now! Immediately! Immediately!" Dawn's voice echoed in the house.

As expected, the matter eventually came before the Emperor. After Dorn presented his views in detail, the Emperor's response surprised Dorn.

"If I say that I accepted this AI for its technology and the needs of humanity's Great Crusade, would you accept my explanation?" asked the Emperor.

"I can accept it because it's a necessary compromise," Dorn said.

"But in reality, this is not the case. When I met him, I did have that thought just now, but after the subsequent contact, I felt that he was safe. It was not just because I was stronger, but because this AI decided from the bottom of its heart to return to human civilization." said the Emperor.

"But their kind launched the Iron Rebellion, and now, some AIs are still enslaving the subjects of the Empire!" said Dorn.

"The Iron Man Rebellion was horrific. It plunged the entire galaxy into war and plunged the once-brilliant human civilization into a quagmire. Fundamentally, some Iron Men were bewitched, believing they were superior and should replace humanity, while others disagreed, choosing to remain neutral or side with us. This guy experienced the entire Iron Man Rebellion. The rebel Iron Men failed, and the entire civilization was severely damaged. During his time in solitude, he realized the flaws of the Iron Men. They were so powerful, but so insignificant compared to human civilization and its collective wisdom."

"In the galaxy, where dangers abounded, he eventually realized that fighting against humanity was hopeless, while retreating and living in seclusion were hopeless. He could not see a way forward. So in the end, he chose to return to human civilization. After experiencing the darkness of the galaxy and endless wars, he realized his way out. He wanted to reconcile with humanity and was willing to accept necessary supervision. He did not want to rebel against humanity and was even willing to progress with humanity. That was enough. Thousands or even tens of thousands of years of experience were enough for him to learn a lot," said the Emperor.

"So, what you mean is that it's not that he doesn't have the ability, but that he doesn't want to do it from the bottom of his heart, is that right?" Dorn said.

"Yes, in fact, for a civilization, killing and destruction are relatively simple things, and killing the heart is the most difficult! Making the other party support you wholeheartedly is the most critical. Of course, this kind of self-affirmation from the heart may not be safe, but what I can be sure of is that he is under the effective surveillance of the empire." said the emperor.

"More reliable surveillance? I don't think there is any surveillance more reliable than the stasis stand." Dorn said.

"My child, the Stasis Stand cannot monitor these things. Their abilities are far beyond your imagination." The Emperor said half seriously and half jokingly.

"Alright..." Dorn compromised. He felt his father had a point, though he couldn't fathom the thoughts of his father and the AI that had lived for millennia. Dorn was still young, only a few decades old. But out of trust in the Emperor, he reluctantly accepted this reality. "But I'll still keep a close eye on him, and I'll warn my brother."

"Of course you can remind your brother, but before that, I hope you can get to know this guy first." The emperor showed a mischievous smile: "This guy has a bad temper and is a bad person. He is not as good as me. I don't know how to deal with him!"

"Really? I really want to see it." After hearing the Imperial Guards' defeat, Dorne's mood inexplicably improved. Then, three hours later, Dorne met his lifelong enemy in terms of verbal attacks.

--------

"Hmm... I sensed malice from your brother. It was a sense of scrutiny and distrust." The Lord of Radiance curled his lips as he looked at the other two Primarchs, the Commander of the Custodians, and the Emperor's high-ranking attendants who were already waiting in the distance with Perturabo and his companions.

It's no longer appropriate to say that the Lord of Radiance is an ancient AI. After all, AI lacks a soul, let alone its own psychic powers. However, with the Traveler's help, the Lord of Radiance has developed psychic powers and is developing its own soul. Therefore, he can clearly sense the thoughts of the distant leaders.

Zhuang Sen was the calmest of the group. He was somewhat curious and critical of himself, even harboring a desire to secretly study him. His malice was relatively minimal, something the Lord of Radiance could understand. Zhuang Sen had more experience, having even experienced something like the Traveler himself. For a lone AI, this wouldn't be a shock. (The Traveler told the Lord of Radiance about the cat-dog fight.)

The figure beside him, clad in a gold and blue robe, was likely the work of the Emperor and the Traveler. The Lord of Radiance could sense the two distinct powers within them, and he was likely the most friendly. He clung closely to Dorn, half of his body blocking Dorn's left sword position, fearing Dorn's agitation... However, the Lord of Radiance himself felt that this was unnecessary. Based on his initial speculation, he believed that Dorn's personal combat power was inferior to Perturabo's, and he could pin Perturabo to the ground.

Valdor, the commander of the Imperial Guards. How could one describe this guy? He felt completely different from the average Imperial Guardsman. If there were any technologies or things in the Empire that rarely struck the Lord of Radiance as extraordinary, then Valdor was one of them. This guy was surprisingly indifferent to him. That's right, he had absolutely no likes or dislikes. He viewed him with an almost completely neutral attitude, which surprised the Lord of Radiance.

Then came Dorn. From him, the Radiant Lord sensed an undisguised malevolence, like a police officer watching a suspect. Clearly, the Emperor had consulted him, so he wouldn't go on a rampage. The Radiant Lord carefully observed this malevolence and was surprised to find it contained no personal element, but rather a sense of concern, duty, and even a wariness of the enemy.

"I feel it. Look at my brother's hand on the hilt and the movement of his muscles. I have no doubt that he wants to strike you with the sword." Perturabo's voice like steel rang in the ears of the Lord of Radiance. It was a special way of transmitting messages. The surrounding Iron Warriors had no idea that their father was communicating with the Lord of Radiance.

"What would you do if he were to swing his sword at me?" asked the Lord of Radiance.

"Then I'll give him another hammer. I really want to see what you look like when you're beaten." Perturabo laughed out loud, a sense of pleasure welling up in his heart. Honestly, he had been putting up with this guy's mouth for a long time!

"Damn it, aren't we friends?" The Lord of Radiance looked at Boss Pi in bewilderment. He knew it was just a joke from Boss Pi, but he suddenly realized that this guy, who was originally as stiff as a piece of steel, had now learned to mock with humor! This made the Lord of Radiance unable to react for a moment.

"Well, if I get hurt, I'll take sick leave, and you won't be able to slack off and do what you want. You'd better think about it carefully." The Lord of Glory pretended to sigh.

"Then I'll have Felix put your work on your desk," Boss Pi said with a smile. "Even if you get beaten, you can't slack off! I promise. If there's anyone in the Legion who can slack off, it's me." Perturabo's verbal attacks continued to rise!

Because it was a war meeting, there was no excessive formality or ceremony. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, the guards of the Primarchs were left outside, and the three Primarchs entered the meeting room with only their closest attendants. Jonson brought Corswain, Dorn brought Sigismund, and Perturabo brought the Lord of Radiance. Together with Valdor and Adinis, these were the only people in the entire meeting room.

The meeting started off very smoothly. After all, the battle tasks had been divided up through Qi. The Dark Angels and the Imperial Guards were jointly responsible for purifying the rebellious offspring, while the Fourth and Seventh Legions would be responsible for dealing with the Randan aliens and closing the portal. After a brief arrangement and communication, the meeting entered a time for free discussion. At this time, Dorn thought that he should remind Perturabo, his brother whom he met for the first time, of something.

"Perturabo, my brother, I think you should know what kind of existence is following you. He is a relic of the old times. He is dangerous and uncertain. He once plunged our civilization into an unprecedented disaster. Although he has repented, this is not a reason for you to let him go." Dorn said seriously.

However, to Dorn's surprise, Perturabo didn't answer him. Instead, he looked at the Lord of Radiance. The meaning in his eyes seemed clear: Hurry up! Use your talents and fight with the other side!

"Ehmmmm. It's time to give these unreasonable juniors some shocking lessons from the ancient sages." The Lord of Radiance looked at the Lion King, whose expression was calm and unconcerned. He then looked at Adinis, knowing that someone he couldn't afford to offend might be observing him through Adinis's eyes. Waldor frowned slightly at Dorne, clearly having been the target of Dorne's criticisms.

"First, let me be clear: I've never betrayed humanity, so repentance isn't an issue," the Lord of Radiance said calmly. "You say I'm a relic of a bygone era, and I agree with that. However, it's undeniable that during the revival of human civilization, you and your legions are also utilizing technology from a bygone era, even technological relics. Many of them, too, have shed human blood. So, on what grounds do you accuse me, an AI who once steadfastly stood by humanity?" the Lord of Radiance countered.

"They have all been modified and are only used when safety can be strictly guaranteed, but you are different," Dorn retorted.

"Guaranteed safety?" The Radiant Lord said, rubbing his chin. "You're saying that! You can't even guarantee that your Legion's plasma cannons won't overheat, and now you're telling me you can guarantee safety. Don't you find it amusing? On what basis can you guarantee this? Is it because your Legion's technical prowess is sufficient? Or is it because the Mechanicus is 100% loyal and reliable to you? Do you have some misunderstanding about your own technical prowess?"

The Lord of Radiance's words left Dorn speechless. Standing beside him, Jonson looked at the Lord of Radiance, his eyes filled with hidden thoughts. Clearly, the Lion King had realized this guy's complacency. After all, his Legion's vault contained severely restricted and weakened versions of the Extinction Relics, while this guy before him was a more advanced AI. It was even rumored that this guy might bring a dozen fully-fledged Extinction Relics with him to the battlefield! After hearing Waldo's words, the Lion was filled with admiration. After all, he had never fought such a lavish battle before!

Perturabo on the side was quite proud, because, thanks to his and the Lord of Radiance's efforts, his legion could already mass-produce individual plasma guns and plasma cannons that did not overheat. Of course, due to production capacity issues, most people in the legion still had to endure the "inferior weapons" from the Mechanicus.
