Above the western sky, Sanskrit voices sang, and the face of the Buddha was hidden behind the light. The Buddhas under the seat were either peaceful, angry, or laughing, but all lowered their eyes with great compassion.

"Your Majesty, why do you stop?" The thick and majestic voice of the light came, resounding all over the western sky.

All the Buddhas stopped, and their eyes turned to the young venerable sitting in front of the Buddha. For some reason, he stopped chanting sutras.

Chi Ruo stands on the lotus seat, "It is Chi Ruo who feels restless."

The Buddhas are whispering, but they can't understand each other. If you have the Buddha's heart in your body, you are a great person, but there will be times when your heart is restless, and the Buddhas sigh.

"Why?"

If you call on the Buddha's name, you only say: "There are three thousand sufferings in the world, but none of the living beings suffer. Even though they are greedy for the world of mortals and foolish, there are also those who see through and understand, but they still pretend to be confused. They all say that the Buddha Dharma saves all living beings. If you can’t understand Pudu for a while, what exactly is it?”

The whispering became louder in an instant, and the Guanyin Bodhisattva and Manjusri Bodhisattva all shook their heads, their eyes were full of compassion, and they were very sorry.

"Is the thing that disturbed you still there?"

"Here," Chi Ruo took it out, "this is a person who has been waiting for a hundred years in the underworld but finally..."

Chi Ruo paused, "This is her white jade hairpin. She asked me to return it to the original owner, but Chi Ruo didn't know who the original owner is."

A hand stretched out from the light, and the white jade hairpin flew to the palm of the hand and returned to the light.

After a long time, the Buddha sighed, "It's rare for the Buddha's mind to be self-contained, but the truth of cause and effect is unspeakable, unspeakable, and unfathomable."

Chiruo raised his eyes, and saw the jade hairpin slowly falling from the light, and fell into his hand. Behind the light was still an invisible face and an unspeakable mystery.

"If you have the heart of Buddha in your body, don't forget it."

"Order if the venerable, follow the cause and the effect, then go to the mortal world to experience it!"

Chi Ruo bowed his body, the cinnabar mole on his forehead was aching, he turned around, step by step, walked out of the Western Paradise under the watchful eyes of the gods and Buddhas, his steps were slow and steady.

Behind him, the western sky is looming in the golden light, like a lotus flower blooming in a trance.

He entered the mortal world and kept his promise, which is also to find his own cause and effect.

Chi Ruo closed his eyes, the wind whistling in his ears.

The edict is like clasping your hands together.

"Amitabha!"

……

"Gollum..."

It was getting dark, Chi Ruo clutched his stomach, and the hunger in his stomach became stronger.

It has been several days since he came to the mortal world, and now he is just an ordinary mortal, a monk to be more precise in terms of clothing, but no matter what, he has tried every mortal one by one.

Fortunately, it's only early autumn, and the temperature is suitable. Chi Ruo hasn't felt the slightest discomfort yet. From his own point of view, he thinks that he will soon adapt to life in the mortal world.

Apart from not being full and being hungry all the time, everything else is fine.

Chi Ruo pursed his lips, frowned his delicate brows slightly, and showed a trace of anxiety in his affectionate peach blossom eyes.Although his face was still calm, he couldn't resist the slight sadness that appeared because of the hunger in his stomach.

He stopped, thinking about whether to rest here for the night today.

When he woke up, he found that he was under the cliff. He walked up the path and walked like this for a few days. Finally, he reached the main road, but there was no one there. He ate weeds and fruits and was hungry, but he never thought What should I do in the future, how to go.

Chi Ruo didn't have the slightest understanding of the world. It is said that as soon as he was born, the lotus flower in the west sky bloomed instantly, the golden light suddenly appeared, the colorful clouds filled the sky, all the birds sang, and the phoenix danced in unison. Even the Buddha stopped chanting and gave a golden lotus. He took it back to Xitian directly and bestowed a son on his family.

Where the Buddha's heart is, the golden light shrouds it.

The sleeping woman was exhausted, and the well-behaved baby was lying beside the mother with her eyes closed.

Before he opened his eyes and saw the mortal world, he was gently wrapped by a golden lotus and brought back to the west.

Now that I am descending to the mortal world again, a thousand years have passed in the world, and time has passed and the situation has changed.

Just as he was thinking, an orange rolled under his feet. He picked it up, and the smell of the orange made his mouth water. He looked ahead, and saw an old man struggling to push the small cart that had overturned, surrounded by yellow oranges. When it landed on the ground, the old cow standing aside and flicking its tail mooed.

Chi Ruo walked over to help pull up the cart, straightened it up, and started picking up the old man's scattered oranges.

"Ah, thank you so much, little master!" The old man rubbed his hands, thanking him non-stop, "Little master has helped me, an old man, a lot!"

Chi Ruo looked calm, "Benefactor, it's getting late, why are you in such a hurry?"

The old man laughed and said, "Tomorrow is Ruicheng's three monthly gatherings. I have to rush to get a good seat, so I sold the oranges a day early so I can buy something to go back to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival."

"August [-]th Mid-Autumn Festival?" Chi Ruo asked, there seems to be such a custom in the world, such as worshiping the moon and eating moon cakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

He had heard about the reputation of the Fairy Chang'e who lived in the Moon Palace, and he had heard from the ghost messenger who often wandered around Jiang Pan in the underworld that the jade rabbit that belonged to the Fairy Chang'e died on August [-]th of a certain year. The day of the Mid-Autumn Festival was lost.

The Emperor of Heaven was so anxious that he didn't dare to show it to the public. He searched in private, but there was no trace. He came to the underworld and asked Hades to borrow the Kunlun Mirror to see why the Jade Rabbit disappeared.

Unexpectedly, the Kunlun mirror of Hades went to nowhere.

"It's clearly a mirror, but it insists on turning into a human and running around, you say it's bad or not! Tsk!" That's what the ghost messenger said, and Jiang Pan squinted at him.

"I told you not to get too used to him."

Ruuo didn't understand many of the profound meanings in it, but just remembered that the Jade Rabbit, the fairy Chang'e who lived far away in the Moon Palace, was lost. Then I learned that in the mortal world, people seem to come to worship the moon one day.

The old man chuckled, "Hey! It's the Mid-Autumn Festival on August [-]th!"

"Does the benefactor know about the jade rabbit that lives on the moon?" Chi Ruo asked.

The old man was taken aback, "Oh, that is the rabbit brought up by Fairy Chang'e, I know!"

Chi Ruo's heart moved, "Recently, the Jade Rabbit got lost, and its magic power is low. I'm a little worried about it. Can the benefactor tell us where it is?"

The old man's face was twitching. This little master looked quite normal. Looking at his earnest expression, he didn't seem to be joking, so he said with some difficulty: "How do we people know where the gods are, little master, you really..."

Chi Ruo was not discouraged, "It's okay, I just thought of asking for a while."

The old man nodded, with an embarrassed expression on his face. Is his convulsions intermittent?

"Gollum..."

Suddenly there was a strange noise, and the old man was taken aback for a moment, then saw the young monk clutching his stomach and muttering, "I'm so hungry."

The old man said "hey", "little master didn't eat, come on, old man, I have pancakes here, you eat first, don't be shy!"

"Well, thank you very much for the benefactor." Chi Ruo took the thick cake, opened a pair of watery peach blossom eyes, frankly without the slightest embarrassment, "The cake is a bit dry."

"..."

The old man silently handed over the water.

The old man sat in front of the small cart and beat the cow one after another with a whip. It was neither painful nor itchy, and the cow was still walking slowly.

Chi Ruo sat cross-legged in the cart with many oranges, the whip crackled, hitting the old cow and hurting the monk's heart.

Chi Ruo hesitated to speak a few times, but finally said, "Benefactor, all living beings are equal, this cow is exhausting pulling you and me. Don't need to use the whip to drive it. It doesn't matter if you slow down."

Old man: "..."

"Little master, how long have you been a monk?"

Chi Ruo thought for a while, "It has always been."

The old man didn't think it was strange, presumably he was adopted by an orphan and a monk in the temple, and he just came down the mountain now, and he spoke so thoughtlessly and heartlessly.

"I said little master," the old man was about to change the subject, "what are you going to do in Ruicheng?"

"I don't know," Chi Ruo was a little dazed, but he answered truthfully, thought for a while, and then said, "Speaking of which, the benefactor invited me to get in the car to Ruicheng, and I actually don't know where to go."

The old man almost fell off the car, but he just said, "Little master, seeing that you are alone, why don't you give me a ride?"

Then the young monk didn't have time to swallow the big cake, but he got into his car with all his hands and feet. Then he choked up and said with difficulty, "Thank you, the benefactor."

The old man was speechless, so he had to admit it and started on his way.

There was nothing wrong with this journey, and they drove through the night, and finally arrived at Ruicheng at dawn.

The old man looked at the monk who was looking around as soon as he got out of the car. He kept looking at him with a pair of peach blossom eyes. He was very curious about everything and didn't seem to be easy to ask, but he still followed him obediently.

The old man sneered to himself, you're stupid, little monk, how can a doll like you make trouble in this colorful world!

Chi Ruo is naturally not stupid, he is just a little curious, and has seen many things that he has never seen before, but not to the point of "stupid".

In front is the market.

The old man stopped in his tracks, "Little master, you also followed the old man and me, is this the end of our fate?"

Chi Ruo was taken aback for a moment, never expecting to be dumped so soon.

But after thinking about it again, meeting by chance, this benefactor is already a great virtue to help, how can I follow him all the time.

"Good people are always rewarded with blessings," Chi Ruo called out the Buddha's name, "Chi Ruo is extremely grateful for this help."

The old man waved his hand, "People in this world are very complicated, and I don't know which mountain temple you came from. Your abbot is so cruel that you let such a simple baby come out for alms!"

The old man was indignant, and Chiruo clasped his hands together, "It is Chiruo's indeterminate self-cultivation, that's why he came here to understand the hardships of the world."

The old man sighed, and took out another big cake from behind, "Take it, don't be hungry and refuse to talk!" The old man patted Chiruo's hand, "You can't understand the suffering of this world, pick the most Just taste the bitter taste and go back to the mountain to practice hard! Huh?"

Chi Ruo tilted his head, and there was a trace of doubt in Tao Hua's eyes, "The most bitter one?"

"Ah!" The old man nodded.

Chi Ruo shook his head, serious, "No way! You must not take shortcuts in cultivating Buddhism and take advantage of it. Chi Ruo should taste it blindly, and then understand it from it!"

The old man hated that iron could not be made into steel, so he waved his hands, "Go, go, after you taste it, do you still think so!"

After speaking, he drove the old cow, pulled the cart, turned and left.

Chi Ruo stood where he was, still holding the big pancake that the old man had forced in his hand, which he could not "reluctantly" hold, for a long time, watching the back of the old man who had already disappeared into the market, and sighed softly.

"Amitabha!"

……

The old man was driving the old cow, and the wooden wheels of the cart creaked.

The gaze behind him must be calm and gentle, the old man is helpless, he obviously has a pair of peach blossom eyes, full of love like autumn water, but he is a monk who can't touch all emotions and desires!

irony!

What's even more ironic is that such a monk swears that he will come to the world to taste the seven emotions and six desires!

"Tsk!"

The old man walked towards the good location that he had already pictured.

There is a meat market on both sides. Rows of meat look plump and delicious. Not far from the meat market is a slaughterhouse. When you walk in, you can hear the screams from the slaughterhouse. .

As the old man walked and listened, he actually recited silently in his heart.

"Amitabha!"
