My Plunderer System

After his little system session in the bathroom, Milo showered and changed before stepping back into the main room of his dorm, only to come face to face with his two roommates.

"Hey man, Chris told me you rocked it today in the Elemental Practical Class," said Mark.

"Yeah man, he kicked my ass, I guess maybe frost is better than fire, at least when the person using it is you Milo."

Milo laughed and decided to be humble, saying that he got lucky, especially after Chris let loose that huge amount of flames at the end. After some more banter between the three of them, Milo, Chris and Mark decided to go down to the canteen to get food. On their way they continued to talk about their first day of classes. As it turned out Mark had put on quite a showing in his practical class too, mainly because he had beaten a student whose ability was to sharpen their hands into blades. He had done so by transforming his body into a rock like substance, which finally proved that rock really does beat scissors.

After eating their meal and talking some more, the trio decided to finally take a small tour around the Acropolis. When heading to the school's front gate they didn't pass any scenes like they had seen on the first day which was a good sign to Milo but the semester had just started so the usual groups of students most likely hadn't fully formed yet. On their way, they ran into Krista and a girl they hadn't seen yet before but luckily for Milo it seemed like the two girls were getting along well.

The new girl had olive skin, was about the same size as Krista, and had brown eyes and hair. She had a fire in her eyes similar to Chris and seemed to be on her toes at all times.

"Hi, I'm Allana," she said, "Allana Ortiz, and I'm Krista's roommate. You must be the famous Milo I always hear her rambling on about."

When looking down at the holo on her wrist, Milo was surprised to see that she was also an A class student. After a bit more chit chat, the group decided to go together to take a look around. While walking through the streets outside campus. Milo decided to take a peek at Allana's ability.

Bone Manipulation was an ability that allowed the user to change the hardness and shape of their bones at will. If the ability was grown enough, there was even the possibility of modifying the bones of other beings, however it didn't work on other living creatures for some reason. There were rumors of one user who could even pull his own bones through his body to the exterior to cover his muscles in bone.

After reading the name of her ability, Milo's eyes widened. "Conditions to copy met? But I just met her like 20 minutes ago." Milo was trying to think back to when he could've met the condition to copy her ability, but kept drawing blanks. "I've barely interacted with her."

"Hey Allana, I forgot to ask, but what's your ability?" Milo tried to ask nonchalantly.

"It's bone manipulation, my entire family awakened with the same ability funnily enough, but only my brother has made any big use of it. He's the guild leader of the Incubus guild in New York City. His nickname is the Reaper because his ability is strong enough that uses his bones like armor."

When hearing this Milo was reminded of the moments leading up to him losing consciousness in the alley during the rift. He had seen a weird figure that he thought was the grim reaper himself. Maybe it was Allana's brother who had saved him, especially considering the doctor mentioned that the Incubus guild was the guild who cleared the rift he was hurt in. Maybe this was when the copy condition was met.

Because he had one more ability slot opened, he clicked accept, only this time things didn't really go as they had up until now.
