Chapter 34 Slap
"No loans allowed." Rosen looked up, his eyes serious.
"Once we get our hands on the bank's money, we become dogs tethered to the bills."
Those financial vultures will be watching every gallon we produce, and if we slow down by even a second, they'll devour the entire factory.
"I'll figure out the money, when the time comes..."
boom--!
The conference room door was kicked open.
A henchman from the Iron Claw Gang rushed in.
"Father! Uncle Maurice!" the henchman pointed outside, his eyes filled with anger.
"The blind man's gang brought 56 people to block the main gate!"
The madman in charge said... that you owe them protection money and haven't paid it back.
He said, "If you don't come up with $50,000 today, we're taking down our sign!"
"What the hell? You're trying to collect protection money from my holy father?"
Caesar jumped to his feet, laughing in anger. That bullshit about collecting protection money was nothing more than giving robbery and extortion a new name.
He rubbed his fist, making a cracking sound.
Rosen glanced at the enraged Iron Claw gang members, a slight smile playing on his lips, and spoke directly to Caesar:
"Caesar, brothers, grab your weapons."
Rosen stood up and took the lead, walking out.
"What are you all standing there for? Come on over!"
Caesar shouted at the crowd behind him, and they quickly reacted, following Rosen out.
Rosen pushed open the door, with Morris and Caesar following behind him on either side, while fifteen Iron Claw gang members in overalls followed behind them, each with their hands tucked into their backs or lapels.
Three black cars were parked across the factory gate.
Buck was leaning against the hood of the lead car, fiddling with a switchblade in his hand.
Hearing the door open, he managed a sinister smile, but froze when he saw Rosen in the center of the crowd.
In his memory, Rosen was still that stray dog wearing a tattered hoodie, hiding from debt collectors on the street.
But Rosen, now dressed in a well-fitting fighting vest, looked imposing. What made him even more uneasy was that the Iron Claw gang freaks, who were known for their ruthlessness in the underworld, were now half a step behind Rosen, as if they were all being led by him.
"Rosen?" Buck tightened his grip on the knife, his voice falling silent, just like when they first met, when he was so arrogant.
"You just said I owe you protection money?" Rosen stopped and looked at him from a distance of five meters.
"You should know what I'm talking about, Rosen!"
A fierce glint flashed in Buck's eyes as he looked at Rosen and said.
"Um?"
Caesar was annoyed. Who did you think you were, daring to speak to my Lord of Victory and Defeat like that?
So he pointed the assault rifle at Buck, which startled Buck, and even the six men behind Buck drew their pistols.
But as soon as the six men pulled out their pistols, the 15 members of the Iron Claw Gang also quickly pulled out their pistols and aimed them at all of them. In an instant, their momentum was completely overwhelmed, and the blind gang's gunmen dared not make any rash moves.
Buck Union raised his hand to indicate that he was not in danger. He glanced at Rosen, then at Caesar, his face grim.
If he still can't see it, he's stupid. That guy Rosen has actually allied himself with the Iron Claw Gang.
In the surrounding communities, everyone knows that although the Iron Claw Gang is poor, they are all crazy people who don't care about their lives.
"Caesar, when did your Iron Claw gang start taking in stray dogs burdened with debts like this? You're willing to take on Black Gold Capital's debts?"
Buck maintained his composure and sneered.
"Bullshit!" Caesar took a step forward.
"This is our Holy Father. Buck, you dare to disrespect our Holy Father with these few scoundrels? Are you trying to make extra food for the stray dogs in the back mountains?"
Holy Father?
Buck's pupils suddenly contracted.
He knew the title; he even knew the previous Holy Father of the Iron Claw Gang, which was the Iron Claw Gang's title for its highest leader.
He originally thought that Rosen was just there to join him and serve him, but he never expected that this kid would actually sit in the top seat of the Iron Claw Gang.
How did this kid manage to do that?
But no matter how he did it, Rosen is no longer the small fry he can be manipulated at will!
You probably won't get that money, and it's uncertain whether you'll even get away unscathed. If Rosen lets those Iron Claw gang guys fire their guns, those lunatics might actually do it.
Just as Buck was rapidly calculating in his mind, Rosen made his move.
He walked directly to Buck at a leisurely pace.
Buck hadn't figured out Rosen's purpose yet, so he asked:
"Rosen, what do you want to do...?"
Before he could finish speaking, Rosen's right hand lashed out.
Snapped!
A crisp sound rang out.
Rosen possessed almost superhuman physical abilities, and this slap was delivered with full force, causing Buck's 180-pound body to be knocked to the ground.
He fell to the ground, and the right side of his face visibly swelled and turned purple, with blood filling his entire mouth.
"Boss!"
The henchmen were terrified and prepared to pull out their pistols, which they had put back in their pockets, once again.
However, they were fast, but the Iron Claws were even faster.
Fifteen dark gun barrels were locked firmly on the heads of Buck's men.
"Try moving." Caesar grinned maliciously as he took a few steps forward, pressing the muzzle of his assault rifle against the forehead of one of his underlings.
The thugs' hands were trembling as they gripped their guns. Looking at the indifferent Iron Claw gang members around them, they knew that with just one gesture from Rosen, they would be riddled with bullets.
Buck covered his face and struggled to get up from the ground. Half of his head was buzzing, and he was a little dazed for a moment. He looked at Rosen with a blank look in his eyes.
"This slap is interest."
Rosen stepped forward and looked down at him.
A gentleman takes his revenge even after ten years, but Rosen never considered himself a gentleman.
He never forgot the two slaps Buck gave him on the day he traveled through time, nor the humiliating mockery.
Rosen threw the blood-stained rag at Buck's face. "If you still want my money, then come and get it yourself."
Bark gritted his teeth, the taste of blood in his mouth driving him almost insane. When had he ever been treated like this? But he had to. He knew that if he didn't back down today, he would lose his life here.
Buck didn't say anything, but silently returned to the car with his underling's help, and Rosen didn't chase after him.
The three cars roared to life and drove off in a disarray, reversing.
Watching the car disappear around the street corner, Caesar spat and put away his gun.
"Holy Father, these wild dogs probably won't let this go."
Rosen stood in the afterglow of the setting sun, watching the silhouettes of the three cars disappear into the distance, his eyes slightly narrowed.
He knew, of course, that someone like Buck wouldn't give up.
For him, that slap just now wasn't revenge at all; at most, it was just giving the sheep a resounding slap before killing it.
He is a petty person.
His revenge is something most people might only experience once in their entire lives!
