Not only was I a generation behind other reincarnated beings from the start, but even my reincarnation was a product of others' behind-the-scenes maneuvering. After narrowly escaping death, I finally had a peaceful night's rest, only to stumble upon the quietly approaching end of the Dharma era. The people of both realms see me as an extraterrestrial demon, avoiding me at all costs; the reincarnated beings see me as a pawn, disdaining and daring not to associate with me. Two sides of the same coin, yet unable to unite; even having mastered the supreme scriptures of both realms, I still find no boundless freedom. Heroes and villains shed tears, right and wrong, success and failure, all turn to nothing. So many things of love, hate, and grudges, all gathered in a pot of turbid wine. Can...can someone like me... truly achieve great things in this chaotic world?
