After the Bodhisattva, Jin Chanzi, and the others left.

The White Crane Fairy laughed and said, "You have quite the skill. Not only did you provoke that bell-ringing boy, but you even went and started a magical duel with Elder Golden Cicada."

Yun Chonghua replied, "There's nothing I can do about it. I originally intended to capture Huang Mei and bring him to the Heavenly Court to be punished. But I didn't expect Jin Chanzi to interfere. However, the magic weapon you gave me, sister, and the Samadhi Divine Wind you taught me are truly powerful."

"With this Kun-scale Treasure Robe, I made Huang Mei completely helpless. And Jin Chanzi only managed to stop my Samadhi Divine Wind thanks to the Wind-Fixing Pearl on his Brocade Buddhist Robe. Otherwise, even if I was no match for him, he wouldn't have been able to defeat me."

You caused such a commotion that I was worried and came down to check on you. Unfortunately, I encountered this."

"Huh?" Yun Chonghua was somewhat shocked upon hearing this. He asked, "What? Sister, you don't know the whole story? Did you come here specifically to protect me?"

The White Crane Fairy replied, "Otherwise what? A day in heaven is a year on earth. You may have spent a few days on earth, but I have only just entered the Southern Heavenly Gate. I don't have Guanyin Bodhisattva's great supernatural power of 'seeing all the affairs of the heavens' and being able to discern the secrets of heaven with a snap of her fingers. How would I know what has happened to you? However, judging from Guanyin Bodhisattva's reaction, it seems that they are indeed in the wrong."

Yun Chonghua asked, "Then what you said just now sounded so true. You said you stopped the spirit official from going down to the mortal realm to investigate. Could it be that you were lying to them?"

The White Crane Fairy said, "Of course not. You caused such a commotion in the mortal realm. I thought you had gotten into trouble there, so naturally I couldn't let those spirit officials come down to investigate. If they really found something, even His Majesty and the Empress would lose face."

"Alright! What exactly happened? I taught you skills and passed on my treasures, not so you could show off in front of others and make enemies. And making enemies is one thing, but you chose someone with such great abilities. Tell me the reason for this quickly!"

Yun Chonghua then told the White Crane Fairy the whole story.

After returning to his residence, he received an invitation from the Dragon King, and then the City God and others recounted the facts. He was invited to Jimo to subdue the demon, and he also told the White Crane Fairy all the details of the battle with Huang Mei and Jin Chanzi.

After Yun Chonghua finished speaking, he asked, "By the way, Sister Baihe, is it right or wrong for me to get involved in this matter, to capture Huangmei and go to Heaven to plead guilty?"

The White Crane Fairy, regaining her senses, replied, "Of course it's right. He disrupted the order of the mortal realm and even incited mortals to demolish the temples of those ghost immortals. However, the Ten Kings of Hell dared not intervene. You stood up for them and acted on behalf of Heaven, so of course it's right."

After listening, Yun Chonghua raised another concern, saying, "Then I followed your teachings and did not heed Jin Chanzi's words to release Huang Mei. How was that handled?"

The White Crane Fairy patted Yun Chonghua on the shoulder and laughed, "Of all the things you've done, this is the best one. You haven't forgotten my previous teachings to avoid associating with people whose stances are unclear. This fully demonstrates your loyalty to His Majesty and Her Majesty. It's not in vain that I've taken such good care of you, nor that His Majesty and Her Majesty have valued and cultivated you. Not bad, not bad."

Yun Chonghua was overjoyed upon hearing this. He breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It's good that I'm not at fault in this matter."

The White Crane Fairy replied with a smile, "You have not only done nothing wrong, but have also rendered a great service. First, you handled the matter impartially and upheld the majesty of the Heavenly Laws. This is exactly what Her Majesty wanted to see, and you did a very good job. Second, as a deity of the Heavenly Court, you were able to fight to a standstill with the two great disciples of the Western Paradise, which has brought honor to our Heavenly Court and made His Majesty proud. This is also a merit."

But then the White Crane Fairy changed the subject, continuing, "However, you are truly quite bold. You are indeed a newborn calf unafraid of tigers, daring to fight that Golden Cicada. He is the second disciple of the Buddha of the Western Paradise, and his supernatural powers are considerable. The move he just used, 'Mustard Tree Encompassing Mount Sumeru,' is inherited from the Buddha. Even I would probably not be able to escape it. His brocade robe also has the Wind-Stabilizing Treasure. Even I am no match for him."

The White Crane Fairy patted him on the shoulder and said, "Fortunately, we were in the right; he had no intention of harming you. If you encounter such a master again, don't act rashly. Victory and defeat are common in war; if you can't win, running away is not shameful."

Yun Chonghua laughed and said, "Hehe, I understand."

The White Crane Fairy nodded and continued, "But you're truly blessed, young man. This battle not only enhanced the prestige of our Heavenly Court but also forged a good connection with Guanyin Bodhisattva. From the look in the Bodhisattva's eyes, I sensed that the karmic consequences of this matter were not yet fully resolved. I imagine you will surely be rewarded with good fortune in the future. You should enjoy it to the fullest."

Yun Chonghua said, "It's good that we didn't cause any trouble this time, so how could I dare to expect any good fortune? But what you're implying, sister, is that I can associate with the people of Western Paradise?"

The White Crane Fairy nodded and said, "That's right. Although the Western Sect is a separate sect, in His Majesty's heart, it is someone who can be won over and used to balance the court. Therefore, Li Tianwang's two sons are both at the behest of the Buddha and Guanyin Bodhisattva respectively. Guanyin Bodhisattva is one of the Five Elders of the Five Directions, and even His Majesty treats her with respect. Now that you have formed a good relationship with her, you can do her a favor in the future."

The White Crane Fairy looked at Yun Chonghua and said, "Chonghua, if any Bodhisattva or Western Buddha invites you in the future, you are welcome to go and meet them. A little interaction is fine. Just don't embarrass our Heavenly Court. If you become familiar with them, it would be most appropriate for you to go and inform the Western Sect if His Majesty has any important matters in mind."

Yun Chonghua asked, "Does Sister mean you want me to serve as an envoy in the future?"

The White Crane Fairy smiled and nodded, saying, "Hmm! You are a promising young man! By the way, you have made a great contribution this time. Is there anything you desire? When I report this time, I can also petition His Majesty and the Empress for a reward on your behalf."

After thinking for a moment, Yun Chonghua said, "If possible, I would like to learn more skills. For example, the art of immobilization, or the art of invisibility and stealth. In this battle against Huang Mei and Jin Chanzi, I suffered from not having enough magic to rely on. If it weren't for the two magic treasures my sister gave me, I'm afraid I would have had a hard time defeating Huang Mei. So I want to learn more skills to protect myself."

After careful consideration, Fairy White Crane said, "Learning new skills isn't something to rush. You now possess several magical treasures, are protected by the Heavenly Dragon True Body, and have the Samadhi Divine Wind I taught you. Ordinary gods and demons are no match for you. Even when Golden Cicada tried to subdue you, it was only because of the 'Wind-Fixing Pearl' on the Brocade Buddhist Robe. As for those rudimentary spells, I think it's unnecessary to waste your energy learning them for now."

"His Majesty has a celestial book treasured in the Golden Palace Heavenly Book Pavilion, called the 'Wish-Fulfilling Treasure Book.' This book records one hundred and eight kinds of supernatural powers and spells, all of which are supreme and wonderful methods. However, His Majesty does not easily pass on these spells to others. Now that you have not served under His Majesty for long, I think this reward will not be bestowed upon you in the short term."

"But don't worry, I'll try to put in a good word for you later. Once this reward is bestowed, you can go straight to learning those profound and wonderful methods, without needing to learn those shallow and unorthodox spells."
