"Bang bang bang!"

Professor McGonagall pushed open the door and saw Harry and Ron, who were bundled up tightly.

She welcomed them in, and Harry and Ron sat down in chairs by the fireplace.

"Potter, Weasley, what's the matter?" Professor McGonagall asked.

Ron pulled a wand from his robes that was in a terrible state; it was broken in two and held together only by a single unicorn tail hair in the middle.

Ron said hesitantly, "Professor McGonagall, I'd like to ask for leave to buy a new wand."

"Oh?" Professor McGonagall looked down at the broken ash wand, her hair neatly styled. "Weasley, you should have gotten a new wand a long time ago. No wonder you keep causing trouble in class."

Ron lowered his head and remained silent.

Harry chimed in, "Professor, we might need to use your fireplace. Let's go to Diagon Alley."

Professor McGonagall looked up at them. "Of course, that's no problem." She waved her wand, and a silver cat sprang from its tip, its eyes surrounded by the same pattern as Professor McGonagall's glasses.

"Weasley, come to my office," she said.

The silver cat leaped out of the window and quickly disappeared from Harry and Ron's sight.

Harry was still staring out the window when Ron stammered, "Professor McGonagall, we can go by ourselves..." He was met with a stern look from Professor McGonagall.

"Don't talk nonsense. I won't let two second-year wizards go to Diagon Alley alone," the Transfiguration professor said.

Ron grimaced. Although Professor McGonagall hadn't mentioned a name, he knew with his not-so-bright brain that she couldn't possibly be looking for twins.

Harry couldn't help but look at Ron with pity; the brothers' relationship was still strained.

"Professor, what was that magic just now?" he asked, changing the subject.

"The Patronus Charm, Potter, you'll have the chance to encounter this magic when you're in higher grades."

After waiting quietly for a while, Percy Weasley appeared in the office.

Seeing his younger brother, he was visibly surprised. "Professor McGonagall, has Ron done something wrong?"

“No, Percy,” Professor McGonagall said. “Ron is going to Diagon Alley to buy a new wand, and I need an upperclassman to go with him. No one is more suitable than you.”

Percy's expression grew even more surprised. He looked at Ron and couldn't help but ask, "Where did you get the money?"

"None of your business!" Ron said angrily.

"I'm your brother! I'm warning you, if you dare do anything—"

"Percy!" Harry interrupted. "Professor Hyp gave it to him." He turned to Professor McGonagall and mumbled, "To honor his feat that night."

Professor McGonagall looked enlightened, but Percy Weasley was even more confused.

"Ron Weasley, I'm so proud of you. You are too, Potter," she said, unusually sentimental.

Percy was about to ask something else, but Professor McGonagall said, "Go ahead, and come back soon."

So the three of them stood in the fireplace, and in the emerald green flames, their figures disappeared.

Half an hour later, the three returned. Ron carefully held a fourteen-inch wand in his hands, a happy expression on his face.

Percy had his arm around his shoulder, and it seemed their relationship had improved.

As they left the office, Ron was still gushing about his new wand, "Willow shaft, unicorn tail hair core, it's a perfect combination! Harry, look at its lines..."

Back in the common room, Harry was pulled aside by Percy, who whispered, "Harry, can you tell me what you guys did?"

On the way, Ron couldn't help but let slip that he, Harry, and Hermione had jointly received the school's Special Contribution Award, but when Percy pressed for details, the two kept their mouths shut.

Harry mumbled, "You'll find out when the new school term starts; he'll definitely surprise you."

Meanwhile, Ron couldn't resist showing off his new wand to the twins, who then dragged him into a dueling game.

Fred grinned and said, "Ron, you need to get familiar with your new wand as soon as possible."

"Yes, that's right. We'd be happy to help you." George patted him on the shoulder.

Harry was immediately intrigued by the twins' suggestion. He had seen a few simple spells in the "Duel Codex," a Christmas gift from Professor Hyp.

He was very eager to try it out.

"Let's go, Ron," he said.

But Percy wasn't interested, so Harry, Ron, and the twins left the castle and went to an open area by the Black Lake.

The four of them took turns being opponents, casting spells on each other.

After getting the new wand, Ron's spellcasting was indeed much smoother, but he was still at the bottom of the game.

He was knocked down three times in a row.

Harry first defeated Ron, then narrowly defeated George, but during his fight with Fred, he tripped and was frozen in place by a petrification spell.

Ron grinned broadly. "So, this is what Hermione's spell on Neville felt like in our first year?" He poked Harry repeatedly with his finger.

Once the spell was broken, Harry immediately retaliated—he grabbed a large clump of snow from the ground and threw it at Ron.

So, due to unforeseen circumstances, the duel game was changed to a snowball fight in the middle of the game, and the group of people rolled around in the snow like crazy.

After Harry successfully launched a sneak attack using his agility, he was surrounded by the twins. He ran for a distance in a panic until he saw Professor Hyp's figure.

This is a rather bizarre scene.

Outside the cold castle, Professor Hyp lay in a rocking chair, leisurely reading a book.

The rocking chair creaked and swayed back and forth.

Above his head were blue flames that stretched freely like ribbons.

"Hello, Professor Hyp," Harry greeted.

Felix closed the book, sat up in the rocking chair, and said with a pleasant expression, "Hello, Potter."

At this moment, Harry noticed that the book Professor Hyp was reading was titled "The World's Best Jokes," which didn't seem like a book from the wizarding world.

But it also had a pearly, transparent color, like a ghost. Harry suddenly remembered the gift the professor had given Hagrid, and an idea popped into his head.

Is this book also a heavily modified version by Professor Hyp?

"Harry—"

"Don't run!"

Ron and the twins caught up as well, and they too saw Professor Hyp.

"Are you having a snowball fight?" Felix asked.

"We're practicing our duels, and now it's halftime," Fred said. "Professor, could you give us some pointers? Your performance at the dueling club was fantastic!"

"Ah, not today. I've decided not to think about anything related to magic today." Felix blinked. "But don't worry, I'll restart the dueling lessons after school starts."

"By the way," Felix looked around, "where's Granger? Isn't she with you?"

"Uh, Professor," Harry stammered, "Hermione, she, she's sick."
