One Piece: Honey Badger Speedruns the World

Chapter 54 Setting Sail! Embarking on the Journey!

Without any hesitation, Goss swiftly reached out with his other hand and snatched the armband off Bucky's wrist.

Captain John's treasure pointer is in hand.

He then stuffed Bucky's severed neck into his clothes.

Just then, Mr. 3, who had been hiding in the shadows, finally found an opportunity to launch a sneak attack.

Seeing that Goss had his back to him, a fierce glint flashed in his eyes.

"This is our last chance..."

"Candle - Ambush Dagger!!"

Mr. 3's arm instantly transformed into a sharp white candle blade, gritting his teeth as he silently lunged towards Goss's back.

Just one stab...

however.

Boom!!

With a loud bang, the railings on the side of the ship suddenly shattered.

Mr. 3 felt a sudden darkness before his eyes, as a large mass of salty seawater poured down on him like a torrential downpour, soaking him completely.

A massive, mountain-like black shadow, covered in salty seawater, leaped from the sea and crashed heavily between Mr. 3 and Goss.

"Well……?"

Mr. 3, holding the candle and dagger, froze on the spot, slowly and mechanically raising his head.

It was a giant crocodile that walked upright and was four or five meters tall!

"roar----!!"

The giant crocodile opened its gaping maw, full of fangs and big enough to swallow half of Mr. 3 whole, and let out a deafening roar.

"Ptooey... Ugh!"

The giant crocodile spat out a mouthful of seawater, its massive tail sweeping across the surface unintentionally.

call--!

A gust of wind swept by, almost blowing the frail Mr. 3 away.

"Alas!!!"

Mr. 3 remained frozen in place, still in his ambush stance.

Looking at the terrifying crocodile-man in front of him, whose muscles were bulging, dripping with seawater, and whose teeth were stuck with wood chips from a naval warship, his pitiful courage evaporated instantly.

"A monster...a monster!!!"

The instinct for survival once again took over.

"Candleball!!"

Mr.3 let out a scream and instantly sprayed out a large amount of wax, completely encasing himself in a round white ball.

then.

Rolling, rolling, rolling—

The white ball rolled wildly away from the two monsters at an astonishing speed, following the tilt of the deck, knocking several unfortunate pirates along the way.

"Um?"

Hearing the noise, Thornton looked down at the white ball that had rolled away at his feet and scratched the back of his scaly head.

"Did a white ball just roll by?"

"strangeness."

He didn't take it to heart, but followed behind Goss, pointing to the three out-of-service naval ships in the distance, and boasted to Goss with a look of seeking praise:

"Mission accomplished!"

"The warships are really tough... I relied entirely on my teeth to bite them! I chewed up the power shafts of those three warships and even pierced through their bottom compartments."

Thornton grinned, revealing a chilling smile:

"Don't worry, Captain, unless they grow wings, those marines won't be able to move for a while!"

"Waaaaahh ...

Just then, a powerful and stirring whistle pierced the noise of the battlefield, even drowning out the awkward idling sound of the naval warships in the distance.

The fog was violently torn apart by the gale.

A medium-sized motor sailboat with an excellent streamlined shape and a bow resembling a sharp narwhal, like a wave-splitting dagger, burst into everyone's view with an invincible aura.

"The Narwhal, here to meet you!!"

At the top of the towering mainmast, a brand-new black pirate flag fluttered in the sea breeze.

The skull pattern painted on it was different from others—its skull was flat and broad, with deep-set eyes, and on the white bone, there was even a tuft of white hair.

That's not an ordinary human skull; it's a totem symbolizing the honey badger, the most fearless creature on the sea!

"Goss! Mia! Come up here quickly!!"

Barr stood by the ship's wheel, half his body leaning out of the railing, waving his arms excitedly.

He looked radiant, his confidence soaring as he piloted his newly recovered ship.

"Walk."

Goss smiled slightly, pushed off with his feet, and soared into the air like a roc, landing steadily on the deck of the Narwhal.

Mia sheathed her sword, and though her steps were a little unsteady, she followed closely behind, lightly leaping onto the ship's side.

"Heave-ho! Heave-ho!"

Thornton was the last to come up.

The giant crocodile, carrying a huge mahogany treasure chest that was wider than itself and had somehow acquired it, leaped onto the deck with a bang, causing the entire ship to shake violently.

"Ouch! Be gentle! Be gentle! My new boat!"

Baal cried out in distress, but when his gaze fell upon the enormous treasure chest on Thornton's shoulder, his eyes instantly turned into the shape of gold coins, and his breathing became rapid:

"This...this is..."

Baal rushed over as if he had seen a family member, hugging the large treasure chest and rubbing against it repeatedly, so excited that he was incoherent:

"This must be the 'stolen goods' I told you to keep an eye out for! Good heavens, you actually brought it back!! I can still do business and pay off my loans!!"

Thornton scratched his head, looking bewildered.

"Huh? What cargo? I just thought it was the only intact box left on the deck, so I brought it over before I left..."

"Well done, Thornton! You're a genius!"

Barr was no longer listening, completely absorbed in the joy of the harvest.

On the other side of the sea.

Scarlett stood at the bow of the old ship that Goslai had traveled on.

The deck was crowded with the newly rescued Mink tribesmen. Although they were dressed in rags, their eyes were filled with tears and respect as they looked at the departing honey badger pirate flag.

"Have a safe trip... Goss, Mia."

Scarlett bowed deeply.

On the edge of the battlefield, a group of news reporters, who had been hiding behind cover and were trembling with excitement, finally found the best angle to take pictures.

The flashbulbs went off wildly, forever freezing the honey badger pirate flag flying away amidst the smoke, and the three immobilized naval warships billowing black smoke in the background, in the film reel.

The reporters frantically took notes, their bodies trembling with excitement. They knew tomorrow's headlines were about to explode:

"Breaking news! Absolutely breaking news!!"

"That symbol... a honey badger skull?! Where did this rookie pirate crew come from?!"

"This is insane! It's utterly lawless!!"

A seasoned journalist adjusted his glasses, his quill pen flying across his notebook as he wrote the startling headline that would shake the seas:

A truly wicked rookie has appeared! He plunders the Seven Warlords of the Sea and cripples the Navy's G5 branch!
