Hogwarts Summoning Guide

Fred was a little nervous. Although he was fearless, he was still a teenager and dared not go against Bai Lin after witnessing his abilities.

"Give it to me, what did you steal from Filch's office?" Bai Lin stretched out his hand.

Fred, somewhat flustered, said with a darting gaze, "I don't understand what you're talking about, Professor?"

Bai Lin pointed to the parchment in his backpack and said, "Anyway, you've memorized all those secret passages. Give them to me; I need them to strengthen Hogwarts' defenses." Bai Lin spoke with an air of righteous indignation.

This parchment is no ordinary piece of paper. It's a Hogwarts map drawn by the Marauders, which is practically a bug in the system. The map allows you to track everyone in the school, essentially giving everyone GPS tracking. It can also display the original names of shapeshifters. In the original story, Filch somehow obtained the map, but he didn't know how to use it, so he just put it in his office drawer. Later, Fred stole it out.

Fred carried the Marauder's Map mainly to use its secret passages to sneak out and play. Later, he gave it to Harry as a Christmas present. Actually, this part of the original story contains many plot holes. For example, if Fred could see people's original names, why would he let Peter turn into a mouse and stay with his own brother? And why didn't he give such a valuable item to Ron but inexplicably went to Harry's door to give it to him? In this part of the original story, Fred was completely a plot device.

Fred knew very well that if Bai Lin attacked directly, he would be no match for him, and would be severely punished by Filch afterward. Hearing Bai Lin say that he wanted to strengthen Hogwarts' defenses, and remembering the incident with the Fat Lady, he obediently handed the parchment to Bai Lin: "Professor, this spell is..."

A moment later, Lu Ping came out, shook his head at Bai Lin, and said, "The rats have run away."

Bai Lin waved the map in his hand and chuckled, "You can't escape, we have this!" Lu Ping was taken aback, but quickly recognized it as the Marauder's Map that the four of them had made back then.

Sure enough, the two pretended to be patrolling around and casually strolled to the kitchen door, because Peter's name appeared there.

Bai Lin held a thick glass jar in one hand and lifted a wine barrel at the kitchen door with the other. Suddenly, a grayish-white rat with badly shed fur and missing a finger appeared in front of the two of them. Lu Ping was obviously a little surprised, but his movements were still swift. Without saying a word, he knocked the rat unconscious with a single blow.

Peter, in his rat form, couldn't cast spells, so Bai Lin put him in a glass jar and made two small holes in the lid to prevent him from suffocating. This way, even if Peter woke up, he wouldn't be able to manifest in such a confined space. If he tried to manifest for the forcibly, he would be crushed by the pressure when he swelled to a size slightly larger than the glass jar, but not large enough to break it.

Everything was ready except for the final push. Lupin rushed back to Gryffindor Castle with a heavy heart, trying to find a way to bring Harry out.

In the middle of the night, Lupin secretly led Harry out, and teachers patrolled the various floors. The gates of the house were also heavily guarded. Following the Marauder's Map, the three met at the statue of Gregory, passed through a secret passage, crossed the castle gate guarded by Dementors, and rushed towards Hagrid's hut.

Upon seeing Bai Lin and the others bring Harry, the large black dog lying at the door of Hagrid's hut sprang to its feet.

Bai Lin had everyone form a circle and placed the glass jar from his pocket on the only small round table in the room.

"Scabbers? You found it!" Harry exclaimed in surprise. "Ron searched for it all night and even had a fight with Hermione about it!"

Bai Lin waved his hand and said, "Tonight we're not dealing with two kids arguing. Harry, maybe you should take a deep breath; what I'm about to say might be hard for you to accept!"

Lupin stared intently at Bai Lin with a gloomy look in his eyes. He recognized the big black dog the moment he saw it, but he was still conflicted, after all, Peter and Black had both been his brothers.

Bai Lin cleared his throat and said, "I'll try to keep it brief. A dozen years ago, there were four students at Hogwarts who were mischievous and shared the same kind of quirks. They formed a group specifically for playing pranks called the Marauders. One of them was named James Potter, yes, Harry, your father."

Harry's eyes lit up as he listened intently.

"These four brothers were as close as brothers, but when Voldemort rose to power, one of them, fearing Voldemort's threat, betrayed the others and indirectly caused the deaths of Harry's parents."

"Sirius Black! It's him!" Harry said through gritted teeth. The black dog's expression darkened.

"No, Harry, the traitor is someone else," Bai Lin said, pointing to the mouse in the jar, "It's him, Peter Pettigrew!"

The rat that had been unconscious in the jar suddenly woke up and started jumping and leaping around inside. The big black dog pounced on the table, grabbed the jar, and glared at the rat inside with hatred in its eyes.

Harry was stunned by Bai Lin's words, as was Lupin. He had considered that Black might have been framed and wrongfully arrested, but he never expected that Peter Pettigrew would be the traitor.

Bai Lin explained that the Secret Keeper of Harry's father's Faithful Charm had been changed from Black to Peter, and Lupin immediately understood, but Harry still couldn't believe it.

Bai Lin said, "Now that everyone involved is here, Black, you can reveal yourself. You will confront Peter in front of Harry!"

The large black dog roared angrily, and its body underwent a violent transformation. In no time, it had turned into Black's appearance. Harry was startled and drew his wand.

"Harry, trust me!" Bai Lin said to Harry, who swallowed hard and did not attack Black.

Black looked exhausted, but also with a sense of relief at having been relieved of a heavy burden. Pointing at the rat, he said, "Kaelin is right. Although I don't know how he found out the truth, he's right... How could I hurt my brother... James, I'd rather die than hurt him... And you, Harry, I was your father's best man at his wedding, and James made me your godfather!"

Harry suddenly remembered the only photo of his parents' wedding. There was a handsome young man smiling and standing next to his father. That was Black.

Bai Lin felt inexplicably irritated, thinking that in the original story, just as the truth was about to be revealed, Snape's intrusion ruined everything.

"You can handle the confrontation yourselves. I'm going out to keep watch!" Bai Lin stood up and walked out, feeling that some danger was about to occur.

Soon, the sound of a glass jar shattering echoed inside the room. Bai Lin drew his wand, became alert, and glanced up to see a small hill to the side. He quickly climbed up it.
