The Sai Wan Cargo Terminal boasts a great location and beautiful scenery, being close to the prestigious Hong Kong University. Although it is a cargo terminal, the water quality nearby is well-maintained, with virtually no waves. The seawater sparkles beautifully in the sunlight.

The tourist map also says that this pier is the most popular place for Hong Kong residents to walk their dogs. During the day, the pier is full of workers, but at dusk, after the workers finish their work, the residents bring their dogs to walk on the pier, which is a beautiful sight in Hong Kong.

Bai Lin glanced around and indeed saw quite a few dogs on the dock. Perhaps it wasn't just locals who liked to walk their dogs there, because the dock was a completely open space, and many foremen and cargo owners also liked to keep dogs to guard their goods.

About 80 of the containers were indeed sealed with goods, but another 20 containers were simply temporary living quarters converted by workers and cargo owners. Many other containers were abandoned and occupied by homeless people, which brought great obstacles to his investigation.

Theoretically, the interiors of nine containers stacked together could be opened up to form a factory, yet appear flawless from the outside. If a wealthy individual were willing, they could even use a row of hundreds of containers to create a large maze, just like in the movie "Cube." It would be extremely difficult for Bai Lin to search the entire dock.

Bai Lin looked at it for a while and suddenly chuckled. If there were any clues that required a large-scale search, he could have used the local enforcement team instead of doing it himself.

He strolled along to the main entrance of the dock, where he saw Hiroyuki Edogawa, wearing black-rimmed glasses, get off the tram and trot in.

Bai Lin stepped aside, feeling quite curious about Edogawa Hiroyuki and a strange sense of anticipation for a little surprise from him.

However, while the thugs at the dock didn't target Bai Lin, they spotted Edogawa Hiroyuki, who was alone. He was dressed as a high school student, wearing the uniform of a high-end private school (the uniforms of Hong Kong Magic School are very similar to those of ordinary private high schools, not the traditional robes of Hogwarts; the white shirts are made of very high-quality and exquisite fabric), and it was clear that he was a child from a wealthy family.

The thugs, like hungry wolves spotting a fat sheep, split into two groups and surrounded Edogawa Hiroyuki from both sides. Kidnapping him in broad daylight was out of the question, but extorting a thousand or eight hundred for cigarettes would be a piece of cake, wouldn't it?

Bai Lin turned to look at the patrol officer, but by sheer coincidence, he was nowhere to be seen. He wasn't worried about Edogawa Hiroyuki getting hurt; he could just clean up the mess for him later. If he couldn't even handle a few thugs, there was no need to keep him involved in this dangerous case.

Four thugs surrounded the somewhat thin Edogawa Hiroyuki. The boy frowned slightly, and it was clear that he was hesitant, but he refrained from using magic to solve the problem.

The thugs shoved him into a narrow alley between the shipping containers. Bai Lin followed at a distance, but after a loud crash from the alley, Edogawa Hiroyuki emerged, straightening his school uniform. A large footprint was clearly visible on his shirt, and his cheek was slightly abraded, but he remained calm, as if dealing with a trivial matter. Behind him, four thugs lay on the ground, clutching their bodies and groaning. It was clear that Edogawa Hiroyuki had been quite ruthless.

They were out of Bai Lin's sight for only ten seconds, but unexpectedly, Edogawa Hiroyuki solved the problem, leaving Bai Lin, who had just reached the alley entrance, somewhat embarrassed.

"Spellcasting without a staff? Interesting..." Hiroyuki Edogawa muttered.

"It's a little awkward, but I don't mean any harm. I know you're investigating the potion case, and I think our goals are at least similar." Bai Lin and Edogawa Hiroyuki walked side by side toward the pier where many cargo ships were docked.

Hiroyuki Edogawa generously extended a hand and said, "Hiroyuki Edogawa, nice to meet you!"

In two years, you've killed nearly 50 dark wizards and Death Eaters, inherited the magic of the legendary wizard Dumbledore, eliminated the most powerful Dark Lord in a hundred years, and are the youngest Flash Card Wizard (a rare card in wizarding cards, which only super powerful wizards can possess, and is considered a form of popular recognition)."

Bai Lin touched his nose somewhat embarrassedly and said, "It was just luck. A lot of good people died. My little thing is nothing to brag about."

Hiroyuki Edogawa's eyes shone brightly as he surveyed the numerous ships in the harbor. He said, "Excuse me, I didn't mean to boast. I'm just curious about your tactics. You seem to anticipate the enemy's moves, as if you have foreseen the future, and you mobilized all available resources at the most opportune moment. If the resurrected Dark Lord's power hadn't been so overwhelming, there wouldn't have been so many casualties. And even though the Dark Lord's power was enough to destroy the entire British magical world, you still defeated him..."

Bai Lin felt a chill run down his spine. He hadn't expected that his little secrets would still be discovered by someone with ulterior motives. This Edogawa Hiroyuki should belong to the neutral camp, just like Lulu. Such people are not bound by emotions and worldly morality in many things, and they think and view problems more rationally.

He quickly interrupted Hiroyuki Edogawa's analysis, saying, "I'll explain it to you properly when I have time. Shouldn't we find a boat first?"

"Looking for a boat? Who said I was looking for a boat? They're not going to put a flag on the bow of a boat and say we're bad guys," Hiroyuki Edogawa replied casually while carefully observing the situation.
