Chapter 222 Kelin's Use of Troops: The More the Better

Voldemort's roar echoed throughout Little Hangleton, shaking the Riddle family mansion. Bai Lin knew he couldn't delay any longer, so he flew towards the dragon and snake. The horned dragon cooperated perfectly, knocking Nagini away with a single claw. The snake's head fell towards Bai Lin, and without hesitation, Bai Lin stretched out Aug's arm and grabbed Nagini by the neck.

"Take this!" Bai Lin's longsword slammed into Nagini's neck. Although, due to the nature of the Soul Weapon, Bai Lin felt as if he had struck a marble pillar rather than a flesh and blood body, his immense strength allowed him to smash even a marble pillar to pieces.

The longsword pierced nearly a foot into the flesh, but became lodged in Nagini's skull. The giant viper finally felt the fear of death, and a hint of humanity appeared in its orange-yellow snake eyes, as if, at this moment, a part of its memories as a human had returned to it.

However, Bai Lin would not let it go. The Hand of Aug slammed Nagini heavily to the ground, with almost all of Bai Lin's weight pressing down on his arm. The sword slowly pierced into Nagini's skull and penetrated his brain.

Voldemort charged madly toward the old house, swung his wand, and ripped a hole in the wall. Through the hole, he saw Whitescale pinning Nagini beneath the rubble.

"NO!!" Voldemort roared, but Bai Lin's movements did not stop at all. He roared and pierced Nagini's head with his sword. The sword pierced through its upper jaw and Bai Lin twisted it hard. Nagini's huge snake body, which was now like a tree that had been charred into charcoal, turned into black powder in the air with Bai Lin's forceful pull. As a Horcrux, there is only one way to perish, and that is to be reduced to ashes.

"Hawaii Kendaka!" Voldemort's eyes blazed with hatred as he unleashed the Killing Curse on Bai Lin without hesitation.

If a typical dark wizard's Killing Curse is like a thin, green bolt of lightning, then Voldemort's Killing Curse is like a thunderbolt, with magical energy as thick as a bowl shooting towards Bai Lin.

Bai Lin was greatly alarmed. He hadn't had time to call for Catherine to activate "Divine Protection," and even if he had, the golden shield might not have been able to withstand such a powerful killing curse.

At the critical moment, the already injured longhorn dragon stood in front of Bai Lin and took the brunt of the extremely powerful killing curse.

Bai Lin's heart skipped a beat. He hadn't expected the Longhorn to risk its life to save its master. He recalled that in the Magical Zoo, this young Longhorn was just a mischievous troublemaker, always causing trouble and bullying other magical creatures along with the Hungarian Horned Dragon. But after he tamed it as his summon, it seemed to mature suddenly, always fighting bravely and charging into battle. It was one of his two trump cards, alongside the Thunderbird. Today, he never expected that the Longhorn would disregard its own safety and risk its life to save Voldemort's powerful Killing Curse.

The Romanian longhorned dragon is a fairly average type of fire dragon. Although its hide has high magic resistance, it is not as strong as the Hungarian horned bee dragon or the Hehidari black dragon, nor does it have the magic immunity of the basilisk or the phoenix. Under the energy of the Killing Curse, it let out a miserable roar. Bai Lin felt a pang of pain as he watched the green light scatter. He could feel the longhorned dragon's life force rapidly disappearing.

"Longhorn Dragon! Recall!" Bai Lin flashed behind the crumbling wall of the old house, which was almost completely collapsed, while recalling the Longhorn Dragon. He finally saved the Longhorn Dragon's life, but the system sent a message: The Longhorn Dragon was severely injured. The system needs to deduct 400 contribution points for soul repair. Repair time is 1200000. Please confirm!

Bai Lin quickly clicked "confirm." As long as the Longhorn Dragon could be saved, 400 contribution points were nothing.

"Help! Why isn't anyone here yet? Am I really going to have to face Voldemort alone?" Bai Lin cursed inwardly as he hid.

Fortunately, just as Voldemort was about to rush in and bombard Bai Lin, a magical fluctuation alerted everyone present, including Bai Lin, who sensed that an extremely powerful wizard had teleported over.

"Tom! Riddle!" An elderly but very loud voice came from the front door of Riddle House. Bai Lin was overjoyed. All his efforts to cultivate relationships with the members of the Order of the Phoenix had paid off. Dumbledore finally believed him and arrived in time.

Two days ago, Bai Lin had planned everything and found Dumbledore and other members of the Order of the Phoenix. He mainly explained that he participated in the Goblet of Fire to protect Harry. He had many clues that Voldemort's henchmen dragged Harry into the competition and helped him overcome the difficulties.

When Harry's safety was mentioned, it naturally attracted the attention of Dumbledore, Black, Moody, Lupin, and others. Even though they didn't completely trust Bai Lin, they preferred to be safe than sorry. During the third match, Black had already gathered many members of the Order of the Phoenix to lie in wait in the stands. If the match proceeded normally, they would come to cheer Harry on. If anything unexpected happened, they could provide assistance immediately.

Upon learning that Hagrid had reported Harry's teleportation by the Goblet of Fire, Dumbledore and the others realized the gravity of the situation. They immediately organized a group to teleport there according to the address left by Bai Lin. However, Apparition is not Doraemon's Anywhere Door, and precise positioning took a considerable amount of time. They first had to teleport to London, and then to Great Hangleton. Just then, they saw the fire that was about to engulf the village. Dumbledore stopped to help Yuxi and the others put out the fire. When they finally teleported to Little Hangleton, Voldemort's interference magic caused their positioning to fail, so they had to fly over on broomsticks, which delayed them considerably.

This arrangement was the result of Bai Lin's careful consideration. His "foresight" advantage could only be used once. From the moment he came into this world, he discovered that his appearance would affect the development of many subsequent events and cause many unexpected new situations, thus rendering his "foresight" ineffective.

He had captured Peter ahead of time and disrupted the Death Eaters' operations in the Quidditch World Cup, which directly led to Barty Crouch Jr. not choosing Moody but instead choosing Crouch Sr., thus creating so much trouble for himself in the first and second games and almost causing him to capsize in the gutter.

If Bai Lin had prevented Harry from being transported through the Goblet of Fire, then Voldemort would not have been able to perform the resurrection ritual. It would be hard to say whether Voldemort would try to obtain Harry's blood in such a respectable, troublesome, and illogical way again next time. In other words, Bai Lin had no idea what would happen next.

If Bai Lin were to lead a group to raid Riddle Manor before Voldemort was fully resurrected, not to mention whether Dumbledore and the others would believe him, Voldemort's henchmen would definitely Apparate away with Voldemort in his Gollum form to protect him and disappear without a trace. Where would he find them next time?

If Bai Lin had destroyed Hufflepuff's cup and Slytherin's ring beforehand, Voldemort would most likely have moved his location, or at least taken Nagini away to preserve his last Horcrux. In that case, even if Bai Lin organized reinforcements and killed Voldemort after a great battle, he could still be resurrected.

Only in the few minutes when Voldemort thinks victory is assured and confidently carries out the resurrection ritual, if the Whitescale Squad destroys all of his Horcruxes (excluding Harry), will Voldemort be caught off guard. After being fully resurrected, Voldemort, due to anger and pride, may directly engage in a final battle with Dumbledore instead of fleeing immediately.

Sure enough, Voldemort heard the sound and immediately knew that Dumbledore had come in person. He was panting heavily, his two tusks twitching as he retreated back into the graveyard. However, he did not run away but went directly to a Death Eater. The Death Eater quickly extended his arm, on which was tattooed a skull spitting venomous snakes—the Dark Mark, Voldemort's symbol.

Voldemort touched the Dark Mark on his arm and cried out, "Death Eaters! Your master summons you!"

It has to be said that the villains are a hundred times more efficient than the heroes. In just a few seconds, dozens of dark figures teleported over. They were dressed in black robes and wore masks, looking both eerie and alluring.

Hiding in the ruins, Bai Lin couldn't help but complain, "Damn it, I wanted to curse this while watching the movie! The original idea was that most Death Eaters didn't know it was the day Voldemort was resurrected. Instead, after Voldemort's resurrection, in order to rebuild his authority (after all, he had been gone for over a decade, and it was unclear whether his former underlings would still be loyal to him), he forcibly summoned all the Death Eaters who weren't imprisoned in Azkaban (including Snape and Karkaroff; however, Snape's failure to arrive to rescue Harry was a minor plot hole, and Malfoy didn't really want to come either) to the scene to kill Harry in front of them, thus proving that Harry wasn't Voldemort's nemesis and that Voldemort was forever invincible."

However, since the Death Eaters didn't know beforehand that Voldemort was going to resurrect and summon them, why were they dressed so neatly? And wearing ridiculous masks that only served to confuse them? Unless you're blind, you wouldn't be able to recognize them, right? Especially Lucius Malfoy's silky blond hair.

Bai Lin had anticipated this scene. Voldemort's henchmen couldn't possibly be just the few dozen shown in the movies. More than a decade ago, he dominated Europe, with more than half of the Aurors defecting to him. The Ministry of Magic was completely helpless against him, and the members of the Order of the Phoenix could only hide. Conservatively speaking, the number of Death Eaters was probably over a thousand, but only a few dozen were sent to Azkaban.

"Luckily, I, Kelling, have plenty of troops, the more the merrier!" Bai Lin glanced at Harry, who was still being tightly gripped by the statue of the Angel of Death. He lowered his head and did not go to the front door to meet up with Dumbledore. Instead, he planned to use the ruins of the old house as cover to go around to the other side of his destination and prepare to find an opportunity to rescue Harry.

Instead, he planned to use the ruins of the old house as cover to go around to the other side of his destination and prepare to find an opportunity to rescue Harry.

While Voldemort was calling for his teammates, Dumbledore had already sent location signals to the members of the Order of the Phoenix. Like an arrow piercing the clouds, a thousand armies came rushing to meet them. Black, Lupin, Tonks, Hagrid, the Weasleys, and several others whom Bai Lin didn't recognize... appeared one after another at the front gate of Riddle Hall.

Soon after, Zobi and Yuxi appeared in the open space on the other side, and unexpectedly, Rufus Scrimgeour and several Aurors arrived, including Bai Lin's old friend, Onion-Nosed Laut. They were a formidable force, not inferior to the Death Eaters at all. The two groups surrounded the old house, which was already mostly collapsed, and faced each other at a distance. A great battle was about to break out.

On the other side, Kiki encountered two Death Eaters. She immediately summoned the Sphinx and mounted it. Before the mission, she had asked Old Addison to help her reduce the size of Caesar's silver armor without affecting its magic resistance, but it still weighed 20 kilograms. Kiki didn't have Caesar's physique and mechanical limbs, so she couldn't run in it at all, but with a mount, it was a different story. With the Sphinx's thick limbs carrying her, she moved like the wind.

The two Death Eaters who were teleported over were both old men with gray hair, one with a goatee and the other with a receding hairline. Perhaps they were well-known figures in some magical field, but at this moment, they had only one identity: henchmen of the Demon King.

Seeing Kiki, clad in silver armor, wielding a long-barreled revolver, and riding a Sphinx, was clearly a surprise to the two. They never imagined that the person who had just blown the head off that tall Death Eater from over 400 meters away was a girl who looked to be less than twenty years old.

However, neither side was going to be polite. Goatbeck immediately cast a Cruciatus Curse, pointing it directly at Kiki. He didn't use a Killing Curse, not because he was soft-hearted, but because Killing Curses usually require some time to build up killing intent. Moreover, Kiki had actually ambushed them from such a distance, which was obviously an organized and planned act. They had to capture her alive and take her back for interrogation.

The two teleported incredibly fast, and Kiki, who had just mounted her horse, didn't have time to dodge. She had great confidence in the quality of Caesar's armor, and she raised her long-barreled revolver, pulling the trigger at the same time as the goatee's spell was cast.

The Cruciatus Curse struck Kiki squarely in the chest. The sensation of being suddenly surrounded by countless cold, sharp needles was extremely unpleasant. Kiki realized that although Caesar's armor had a magic resistance of up to 95, making it very effective against some fire and shadow magic, almost allowing her to remain unharmed, it was still incredibly painful against a spell like the Cruciatus Curse that stimulated the central nervous system and caused immense suffering. Even with only a 5% effect, it still made her shudder and almost fall off the Sphinx's back.

Kiki only felt a slight pain, but the goatee on the other side wasn't so lucky. Caesar's long-barreled revolver was originally an M500 revolver manufactured by Smith & Wesson in the United States. It had a barrel length of 266mm, a caliber of 05 inches (127mm), fired .50 Magnum high-powered pistol cartridges, and had an effective range of 250 meters. It was known as a cannon in one's hand. After being engraved with secret inscriptions by a craftsman, the barrel was further lengthened by 30mm, which greatly increased the accuracy of the pistol. However, only skilled gun users with super strong wrist strength could use it.

The goatee's head, like the tall Death Eater, exploded like fireworks. His armor was as fragile as paper, and blood and brain matter splattered all over the Mediterranean man's head and face.
