According to legend, the Sphinx is the guardian of the Egyptian pharaohs and royal power, and is also a unique magical animal of Egypt. Kiki Hades once fought against Bai Lin with a Sphinx, so Bai Lin knew some of the attack patterns of this beast.

Unlike the powerful pounce of a prairie lion, the Sphinx primarily attacks with its massive claws. Bai Lin had no doubt how many ribs he would break if struck by its basin-sized claws. The Sphinx's large, human-faced mouth was also filled with fangs, a constant reminder to Bai Lin that they were carnivores, with a deep craving for human flesh.

Bai Lin, relying on the influence of the Shadow Demon, caused the Sphinx in front of him to stagger. Bai Lin flew forward and thrust his sword towards the Sphinx's neck. He suddenly felt a sense of absurdity. He had originally planned to change his appearance and use a fake identity to participate in the zoo's beast fighting competition. Today seemed to be a rehearsal opportunity given to him by God.

However, just as Bai Lin's longsword was about to pierce through, a jet-black arrow suddenly shot out from the stone wall, heading straight for Bai Lin's chest. The arrow even had a cold, bluish-green light on it, clearly indicating that it had been coated with a deadly poison.

Bai Lin dared not be careless and could only abandon his attack, leaning back sharply to dodge the sneak arrow. It was undoubtedly Gary who had used the illusion on the rune wall to conceal himself and launch a sneak attack.

Blanco hadn't expected Bai Lin to be able to summon such a powerful helper. "Gary," hiding in the illusion, was startled. However, the black magic was clearly restricted by the "anti-magic particles," and Bai Lin couldn't release anything.

Bai Lin decisively gave up trying, put the wand back in his pocket, grabbed the longsword, and with a flip, jumped out of the Sphinx's attack range.

Seeing the Sphinx lying on the ground, clearly severely injured, Bai Lin immediately activated the seal. With a burst of light, the Sphinx was "sucked" into the Summoning Encyclopedia, and a line of text immediately appeared on the encyclopedia:

Before Bai Lin could think any further, another Sphinx pounced over. Before Xue Feng could react, an anvil flew over, and the Sphinx and the anvil collided and fell to the ground.

Bai Lin looked over and saw that Elijah had regained some of his abilities, which had been a great help to Bai Lin. However, he was panting heavily in the large bubble on his head, and didn't seem to be feeling very well.

Xuefeng sprang to his feet, let out a wolf howl, and pounced on the Sphinx, with Bailin following closely behind, longsword in hand.

The Sphinx was badly hit by the anvil, but it did not lose its fighting ability. Just as it was about to pounce on the snow wind, Bai Lin released the Shadow Demon again. The Sphinx was pulled and staggered. The snow wind successfully pounced on the Sphinx and then bit its neck.

The Sphinx, not wanting the snow wind to expand its gains, slapped the snow wind's side with its paw, and rolled on the ground with the snow wind. They rolled over burning coals, and the fur of both beasts was set ablaze, making the scene extremely gruesome.

Elia didn't hesitate any longer. He rushed out from behind the steam engine, pounced on him, and pinned "Gary" to the ground.

Once Elia subdued "Gary," Bai Lin had also successfully sealed the second Sphinx, and the immediate crisis was resolved.

"Hahahaha! You'll never get out! You evil freaks! Hahahaha!" After laughing, Gary suddenly foamed at the mouth and died.

Elijah quickly stepped aside and looked down to see Gary clutching the last poisoned arrow, which was plunged into his own chest.

A short while later, Gehry's figure changed, turning into a gaunt old man with a face full of black aura, clearly dead.

"It's a compound decoction!" Elijah said.

Blanco and the Aurors were breathing with the Bubble Head Charm, and it seemed that some of their magic was already usable, but Apparition was still not working.

Bai Lin glanced at the dead old man, paced a few steps in the hall, and said, "Perhaps it really is as he said, only Muggles can leave..."
