He didn't reply, but carried her to the bathroom.

Su Wuli leaned on his shoulder and heard his soft laughter.

She quickly reached out and covered his mouth, pressing her palm against his lips.

There was a clear smile in his deep eyes.

She pressed her hand against his lips, then glared at him. "Don't laugh."

As soon as he finished speaking, under her gaze, Yu Chen lowered his head and brushed his lips against her palm.

Then he gently bit the soft flesh in her palm.

It doesn't hurt.

Su Wuli's finger curled slightly at his lips and then withdrew.

But he grabbed her hand and she couldn't pull it back in time.

Yu Chen loosened his teeth, his lips still pressed against her palm.

His voice was deep. "I'm not laughing anymore."

Looking into the man's smiling eyes, she knew he was still smiling.

Su Wuli pulled her hand back and simply buried her face in the crook of his neck.

Out of sight, out of mind.

Yu Chen carried her to the sink before putting her down. "Wash up."

Su Wuli glanced at him before squeezing toothpaste onto her toothbrush.

I handed him his toothbrush as well, but didn't squeeze the toothpaste for him.

Yu Chen chuckled, then squeezed out the toothpaste for himself.

Then I stood behind her, pressed my chest against her back, and wrapped my arms around her.

Her other arm reached over to her side and braced against the edge of the sink.

Su Wuli put the toothbrush in her mouth and leaned back.

She leaned her back against his chest and rested her head on his chest, letting go of her own strength.

Yu Chen let her lean on him.

The two people in the mirror were huddled together. Su Wuli was wearing a V-neck long-sleeved nightgown, the neckline of which had slipped down to reveal her collarbone.

A slightly higher angle is all it takes to see what's under the collar.

Su Wuli was oblivious, preoccupied with mumbling something indistinctly.

The sound came out of the toothpaste foam, like having a wad of cotton in your mouth.

"What?" Yu Chen's voice was muffled, and his mouth was full of foam.

"I said..." She swallowed, spitting out some of the foam in her mouth, "Don't drip the foam on my head."

As soon as he finished speaking, he looked down at the top of her head, then looked up at her in the mirror.

With a hint of sarcasm, he said, "It's hard to say."

Upon hearing this, Su Wuli glared at the man in the mirror.

Yu Chen suddenly lowered his head and brought his lips close to the top of her head.

"Ah..." Su Wuli cried out in surprise, shrinking her neck and dodging forward.

Yu Chen raised his arm from the table and wrapped it around her waist.

Her upper body had already run out, but he was holding her from behind.

She kicked her leg, but her foot slipped on the floor tiles and she couldn't run away.

He pulled her back into his arms, her back pressed against his chest again.

"Why are you running?"

Su Wuli put the toothbrush in her mouth and mumbled indistinctly, "No way."

After swiping twice, he mumbled another sentence, "Let go first."

He didn't loosen his grip, and she didn't move either.

Su Wuli pretended to be calm and continued brushing her teeth, her eyes constantly glancing at the top of the mirror, afraid that something might fall down.

I saw him smile.

She nudged him with her elbow, but he didn't budge.

She pushed again, but he grabbed her elbow to stop her from moving.

The two of them stood in front of the mirror brushing their teeth, and their movements gradually synchronized.

She swipes the left side, and he swipes the left side too; she swipes the right side, and he swipes the right side too.

Su Wuli stopped spitting out foam, and he stopped too.

Looking at the synchronized movements of the two people in the mirror, I couldn't help but laugh.

She spat out the foam from her mouth and rinsed it.

I took the facial cleanser off the shelf, squeezed out a pump, and rubbed it in my palm to create white foam.

She turned to face Yu Chen.

He still had a toothbrush in his mouth, with toothpaste foam clinging to the corners of his lips.

He looked down at the foam in her hand and his brow twitched slightly.

His expression was as if he had seen something strange, or as if he was hesitating whether to hide.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Let me wash your face."

Su Wuli told him to rinse his mouth first, then stood on tiptoe and smeared the foam on his face.

Yu Chen stood still and let her smear him.

I drew circles on his face with my hand, from his cheekbone to his chin to the bridge of his nose.

The more he rubbed, the more foam appeared, covering his face.

Only his eyes were visible.

Those eyes shone brightly against the white foam, fixed on her face.

A little foam clung to my eyelashes, like snowflakes falling on them.

Su Wuli looked into those eyes and suddenly remembered the expression on his face when he saw the foam in her hand. She couldn't help but laugh.

Foam squeezed out from between her fingers and landed on his collar.

Her arm got tired after holding it up for a while, so she shook it and raised it again.

I couldn't help but complain, "Why did you have to grow so tall...?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Yu Chen suddenly grabbed her waist with both hands, picked her up from the ground, and placed her on the washbasin.

So sudden, Su Wuli almost cried out in surprise.

He stood in front of her, his hands supporting her on either side, trapping her between the sink and himself.

Then he slowly lowered his head and leaned closer to her, so close that the tip of his nose almost touched hers.

White foam slid down his nose bridge and clumped up at the tip.

Su Wuli couldn't help but reach out and wipe the foam away.

He pressed his lips to her nose and kissed it, leaving a foamy residue on her nose.

Su Wuli was taken aback.

"You have bubbles on your face." Yu Chen reached out and rubbed the tip of her nose, and the bubble was smeared onto her cheek.

Realizing that he had done it on purpose, Su Wuli turned her head to dodge.

His hand followed, rubbing the foam from her left cheek to her right cheek, and from her right cheek to her forehead.

That wasn't enough. He then lowered his head and pressed his face against hers, his nose brushing against hers.

She leaned back, but a large hand gripped her lower back and pressed her back down.

The white foam from his face smeared onto Su Wuli's face, from her cheekbone to her nose and then to the corner of her mouth, covering her entire face.

She tried to dodge several times but couldn't, so she reached out and punched his chest.

But he grabbed her and pressed her against the edge of the table.

The foam slid down her face and trickled down her chin.

She tried to wipe it, but he held her hand so she couldn't move.

"Annoying."

"Mm," he replied.

Then he lowered his head

She pushed his face away and pulled her hand out of his palm.

"Go rinse it yourself." She said, jumping off the sink and pushing him towards the faucet.

Yu Chen took two steps following her lead and turned on the tap.

The water was splashing loudly.

He scooped water to wash his face, while Su Wuli stood behind him looking in the mirror.

After watching for two seconds, I suddenly had a wicked thought.

She leaned closer, her nose brushing against his back.

A faint white stain appeared on the dark fabric.

She rubbed her chin and cheeks again, then wiped all the remaining foam off her face onto his back.

He bent down to wash his face without moving, and she felt perfectly justified in doing so.

She rubbed harder on the last swipe, pressing her forehead against the foam to get the last clump of foam on as well.

Satisfied, she stepped back from behind him, pretending nothing had happened.
