HP: I beat the otome game at Hogwarts
Chapter 3 Life in a Humble Abode
Harry lay in bed, listening to his owl Hedwig cooing. Even though he couldn't understand owl language, he could definitely hear the complaints in her voice. But Harry didn't blame Hedwig for being temperamental, because his own stomach was rumbling in unpleasant agreement.
Yes, it's almost unbelievable, but he, Harry Potter: the famous savior of the wizarding world, the boy who defeated the Dark Lord and survived, was imprisoned by his Muggle relatives with non-magical powers in a small room with iron bars on the windows. His dinner consisted of nothing more than a bowl of cold canned soup, with only a bird for him.
Perhaps before school starts in September, the magical world will lose its savior, who died of hunger at the age of 12.
Harry thought dejectedly.
Late at night.
He rolled over, trying to bury his pessimistic thoughts and his rumbling stomach beneath him. But the more he tossed and turned, the more intense the hunger and despair became. He didn't know how much time had passed before he drifted off into a hazy, incoherent dream.
Suddenly, a pang of fear jolted Harry awake. He vaguely thought he might have just fainted from hunger rather than fallen asleep, but when he turned his head, he found someone watching him from outside the window!
"Ron!" Harry snapped out of his daze and rushed to his red-haired friend with delight. At that moment, even the freckles on Ron's face looked incredibly cute.
What happened next felt like a dream to Harry, but a beautiful one: Ron and his twin brother arrived in a flying car to pick him up. In less than five minutes! He was off to freedom with his suitcase and his owl!
Everyone chatted and enjoyed the breeze along the way. At dawn, the caravan arrived safely at the Weasleys' house, a wizarding dwelling named The Burrow.
Although she was immediately caught red-handed by the shrewd Mrs. Weasley.
The three red-haired boys were severely scolded by their mother, but the black-haired boy received a warm welcome.
The kind Mrs. Weasley served a sumptuous breakfast: sizzling fried sausages and eggs, crispy buttered bread, steaming hot milk, and fragrant oatmeal.
Harry was completely enveloped in warmth.
The four boys, who hadn't slept all night, devoured everything on the table in a flash.
When Mrs. Weasley learned that Harry was going hungry at his aunt's house, she repeatedly added more rice to his breakfast plate.
Harry has to sneakily loosen his belt by a notch—a sweet problem indeed.
Just then, a little red-haired girl in her pajamas walked into the kitchen. When she saw Harry, she screamed and then ran away as fast as a startled rabbit.
“That’s my little sister Ginny,” Ron said to Harry while taking a bite of bread. “She’s been asking us about you all summer.”
Harry's face flushed slightly. He was about to speak to Ron when someone else walked into the kitchen.
With a crash, the spoon in Harry's hand fell and knocked over the bowl of cereal.
"Good morning." The one who greeted her was a girl with black hair and gray eyes.
She was wearing a light yellow dress, and the moment she walked in, the entire room was illuminated by her radiance.
It's Lyra White.
Harry's face turned completely red. He quickly picked up the bowl, mumbled a "good morning," and wished he could bury his face in the porridge bowl, leaving only his two bright red ears sticking out.

After a chaotic and embarrassing breakfast meeting, the four boys were sent off to clear out the goblins in the yard.
Besides secretly regretting that he always acted like a molting, panicked chicken in front of Lyra, Harry also severely reprimanded his good friend Ron for not informing him of such important news beforehand: Lyra White was also at the Burrow!
“Merlin, we’ve been talking about the house-elves that got you locked up the whole way here, and we’ve forgotten about it.” Ron scratched his head. “But Lyra only arrived a few hours before you. She fell asleep shortly after she got to my house. You know, she just got back from France and is still jet-lagged.”
“I don’t know! And when did you start calling her Lyra?” Harley forcefully flung a goblin away, sending him flying at least fifty feet.
"Wow, well done, Harry!" George whistled.
“Oh, actually, Lyra is a really nice person. I mean, she’s not at all as haughty as people say. George and Fred invited her over, and she brought gifts for the whole family. Mom adores her,” Ron said, letting the goblin land near the fence. “You know, before Ginny came along, Mom always wanted a daughter. She loves girls…”
“Terrible,” Fred mocked his little brother, then demonstrated by throwing the goblin he had thrown, which flew cleanly over the hedge.
"If only Mom had given birth to a girl like Lyra instead of George Fred or something..."
Hearing Ron's mutterings, Harry thought to himself, who wouldn't like a girl like Lyra?
*
Leila was very happy at the Burrow.
The Burrow looked crooked and dilapidated from the outside, perfectly matching its name. But Lyra thought everyone inside was incredibly lovable.
Mrs. Weasley was the kind of mother who loved her children very much, caring for each of her chicks like a mother hen, including Harry and Lyra who came to visit.
Upon hearing that Lyra's parents had passed away, that her current guardian was a distant relative in France, and that she had come to Hogwarts alone to study because of her parents' last wishes, Mrs. Weasley hugged her with red eyes and choked with emotion, saying, "Oh, my poor baby, your mom and dad will be so proud of you."
Then, every time they ate, he would force her and Harry, who was also an orphan, to have their food refilled four times. He would wash all her little dresses clean, iron them, and fold them neatly.
Lyra enjoyed the affection with a mix of happiness and guilt, after all, her background, which sounded no better than Harry Potter's, was randomly assigned by the system.
Mr. Weasley is the kind of father everyone wants: open-minded and tolerant, yet possessing a strong childlike heart and curiosity. Sometimes, the children would secretly tell Mrs. Weasley things they wouldn't dare tell her, making father and son accomplices, and then both would get a scolding from Mrs. Weasley by having their ears pulled.
Mr. Weasley liked to have Lyra and Harry sit on either side of him at meals, asking Harry about plugs and the post office, and Lyra about how airplanes and the subway work.
“Muggles are truly amazing!” he exclaimed sincerely each time.
Lyra always felt that Mr. Weasley's amazement was somewhat like a Muggle finding out that someone's dog could drive a car, carrying a wizard's superiority and naivety.
But that's okay, Lyra still thinks Mr. Weasley is adorable.
There's also the shy little sister Ginny, Percy earnestly warning Lyra that wearing a miniskirt will make her catch a cold, and Ron and Harry, who are a pair of silly little brothers, all of which bring a smile to her face.
As for the twins who invited her over—her two best friends—she felt a mix of love and hate towards them.
When they received the prank kit that Lyra had bought from the magic shop in France, the two of them looked as if Christmas had arrived early.
And so, life in the Burrow became filled with screams and laughter. The twins modified their prank products and used them on everyone in the family, especially Lyra—
"Aaaaaah! George and Fred, I'm going to kill you both!!!"
This morning, Lyra had just received a letter from an owl. She had only gone to get a drink of water when, upon returning to open the letter, the envelope exploded on its own, turning Lyra's face a bright toad-like green.
Without a doubt, the murderers are twins.
Everyone laughed as they identified the culprit.
