Harry Potter: This senior is pretty strong

Chapter 70 You will become a very remarkable person in the future.

Qin Yu was somewhat surprised to encounter Neville here.

Neville's life has been truly miserable, comparable to that of Harry Potter.

When Neville was one year old, his father Frank Longbottom and mother Alice Longbottom, both members of the Order of the Phoenix, the anti-Voldemort faction, were kidnapped by Death Eaters and tortured with the Cruciatus Curse until they went insane. As a result, the two spent more than a decade at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries.

Neville was raised by his grandmother, Augusta Longbottom. Perhaps because he witnessed the tragedy of his parents' death when he was young and was cursed with a forgetting spell, Neville was forgetful from a young age. He was a dull, introverted, and slow-witted child, and was even suspected by his family of being a Squib (a descendant of wizards who cannot use magic).

What's really mean is that his great-uncle Algi and great-aunt Annie would test Neville's magical talent from time to time, for example, by pushing him off the lakeside dock or throwing him out of a second-floor window (they just pretended to throw him, but they actually did, and the boy was really pitiful).

Fortunately, Neville wasn't a Squib, otherwise he would have been crippled or killed.

According to the original timeline, Neville didn't have much talent in magic after enrolling, and even struggled a lot, except for herbology. However, he grew steadily over the years and eventually earned the recognition of the Sword of Gryffindor through his courage. He then slew Voldemort's seventh Horcrux, Nagini, a Horcrux that is roughly equivalent to a resurrection opportunity. This cleared the last obstacle for Harry Potter to finally defeat Voldemort.

Therefore, Neville is also respectfully called "Sword Saint Neville" or "Snake Slayer Sword Saint" by many people!

Okay, these are all informal titles, something like "the best kid in the world" for Dudley (Harry's cousin).

Thinking about the title of Sword Saint, and then about the chubby-faced little boy he had just seen, Qin Yu couldn't help but smile.

"Qin, what's making you so happy?" Hermione noticed this and asked curiously.

"Hmm—I was thinking about that kid named Neville earlier. I think he'll definitely become a very successful person in the future!" Qin Yu said seriously.

"Really?! I didn't see that coming from... Is this some kind of mysterious Eastern divination?" Hermione asked, her interest piqued. She leaned her face forward and said expectantly, "Then look at me and tell me what kind of person I'll become!"

Then, Qin Yu cupped the girl's face in his hands, carefully examined her features, her three sections of the face, and her twelve palaces, and finally said in a serious tone, "You will become a very remarkable person in the future."

"How amazing is it?" Hermione wanted him to elaborate.

"Probably the kind of person who's second only to the emperor and above thousands of others!" Qin Yu thought for a moment and said.

"Hmm? That sounds impressive. So what exactly does it do?" Hermione continued to ask.

"Hmm—probably like the Minister of Magic," Qin Yu said.

"Really?" Hermione's beautiful eyes widened upon hearing this.

"Of course it's true. If you don't get the job, you can come to me," Qin Yu assured him.

Hermione pulled her face away from Qin Yu's large hand, thought for a moment, and then suddenly asked curiously:

"Isn't the Minister of Magic the highest position in the wizarding world? Is there anyone above him?"

Clearly, the top student is very meticulous and still has questions about the phrase "second only to one person and above ten thousand others".

"Of course there is! Above the Ministry of Magic is the International Wizarding Federation, right? The president of the International Wizarding Federation is above the Minister of Magic!" Qin Yu found a reasonable explanation.

"Oh, I see!" Hermione exclaimed, probably imagining what it would be like to be Minister of Magic in the future, and a happy smile appeared on her face.

Then, perhaps to comfort Qin Yu, she patted his shoulder and said in a serious tone:

"Qin, I think you will become someone even more capable than me. If I become the Minister of Magic, then you will definitely become the president of the Wizarding Union!"

Well, in just a short while, the two of them have divided up two of the most powerful positions in the magical world.

Qin Yu chuckled and ruffled her hair, saying in a slightly annoyed tone, "Alright, wake up! We should go buy a robe."

"Hehe, I was just imagining it," Hermione said with a smile.

Then, she took Qin Yu's hand and walked towards the Madam Malkin's Robe boutique.

……

“We need three plain black work robes, a black winter cloak, and a pair of dragon skin gloves… Qin, what are dragon skin gloves?” Hermione read the list of items and then asked Qin Yu curiously.

"You don't need to worry about any of that. As long as the people in this shop know you're a first-year student at Hogwarts, they'll pick out everything for you," Qin Yu said to the little girl.

"That's great." Hermione was relieved by this.

Then, the two quickly entered the shop that made clothes for wizards.

"Welcome! Are you here to buy Hogwarts school uniforms?" a short, plump, smiling witch asked.

This is the owner of the shop, Mrs. Malkin.

“Yes, Mrs. Malkin, but I already bought it last year. My sister is buying it for me today.” Qin Yu pushed little Hermione forward.

The little girl turned around, made a face at him, and muttered, "Hmph, little sister... you're Uncle Crookshan..."

What is all this nonsense... Qin Yu couldn't help but flick her nose.

“Oh, I remember now, you are that little boy from the East last year. You came alone then, if I remember correctly…” Mrs. Malkin recalled.

It's not uncommon for young wizards to come and buy clothes alone, but a composed child like this little boy from the East is quite rare, which is why Mrs. Malkin quickly recalled him.

"Yes, if you remember correctly, someone was supposed to come with me last time, but he had something come up and had to leave," Qin Yu said with a shrug.

Well, at the time, Hagrid let Qin Yu go shopping on his own to handle the shipping arrangements for the three-headed dog, Lou Williams.

“Well then, beautiful lady, let’s go inside and take your measurements. Don’t worry, it’ll be quick,” Madam Malkin said to Hermione.

So Hermione followed Madam Malkin to the fitting room in the back of the shop.

Qin Yu sat in a rest area in the front of the store, drinking tea served by the shop assistant, Miss Witch. Miss Witch also thoughtfully gave him a plate of chocolate cookies.

After a while, after Qin Yu had drunk two cups of tea and finished the plate of cookies, Hermione came out from the back room.

Hermione's clothes were different from when she went in.

She wore a white shirt underneath, with a red and yellow striped scarf, and a loose-fitting black robe on top. The scarf and such were probably given to her by Madam Malkin.

She was waving a thin wooden ruler in her hand—presumably as a magic wand.

They looked so lively and adorable.

"How is it? Is it pretty?" the little girl asked her companion, who was sitting there in a daze, with a smile.

"It looks good," Qin Yu nodded.

"I mean... clothes..." the little girl said, her face slightly flushed and a little flustered.

"What I'm referring to includes clothes," Qin Yu said solemnly.

"...I, I'll go ask Mrs. Malkin to adjust the sleeves again, they're too, too long." The little girl stammered, then quickly returned to the back room.
