The scene before them was horrifying. Hundreds upon hundreds of zombies were crammed together, surging madly in one direction. In the center of the crowd, a gigantic figure loomed in and out of sight.

Xu Hao gritted his teeth and forced his way forward. His heart was pounding so hard it felt like it would burst out of his chest, and his back was soaked with sweat.

In the Corpse King's Palace, you only see lone Corpse Kings, a scene that is far more shocking.

"Calm down, calm down!" he kept telling himself. "You are invisible; they can't see you!"

Finally, after squeezing through the horde of zombies, Xu Hao got a clear look at the Zombie King. It was a colossal creature nearly three meters tall, its body covered in rotting flesh. Its eyes flashed with an eerie red light, and it occasionally let out chilling growls.

Xu Haoqiang quietly approached the Corpse King, preparing to carry out his plan.

Just then, the Corpse King suddenly turned its head, its scarlet eyes staring straight in the direction where Xu Hao was.

Xu Hao's heart almost stopped beating, and cold sweat instantly soaked his entire body.

"It...it saw me?"

Su Qing, perched on the rooftop in the distance, stared intently at Xu Hao's figure, her heart pounding. Her slender fingers clenched unconsciously, her knuckles turning white. Each time Xu Hao disappeared from sight, she held her breath, fearing for his safety. When he reappeared, she secretly breathed a sigh of relief. This constant shift in her emotions left her feeling both tense and confused.

"What kind of ability is this?" Su Qing frowned, quickly recalling the bureau's records, but couldn't find any similar entries. She was usually known for her composure, but now she felt a mix of unease and curiosity.

Shi Shaowei lay beside Su Qing, his brows furrowed. As Xu Hao's direct superior, he was both gratified and surprised by the young man's growth. From his initial impressive skills and ability to use poison, to later mastering fire talismans, alchemy, talisman crafting, and summoning skeletons, he had even acquired invisibility magic.

"What new tricks has this kid learned?" he muttered to himself. It seemed Xu Hao wasn't lying when he said he could escape.

The Corpse King glanced at where Xu Hao was standing, then turned its head away. Xu Hao breathed a sigh of relief; it seemed to be a false alarm.

Next, Xu Hao used the red poison on the Corpse King.

The Zombie King was attacked and sensed Xu Hao's presence. It charged towards Xu Hao's location, but there were too many zombies around, and the Zombie King couldn't get there.

The Corpse King's gaze swept over Xu Hao's location, and Xu Hao immediately felt a chill run down his spine. His heart pounded violently, as if it would burst out of his chest. Time seemed to freeze, and every second became exceptionally long.

Just as Xu Hao thought he had been exposed, the Corpse King looked away.

Xu Hao let out a long sigh of relief, his tense nerves relaxing slightly. "That was close," he thought to himself, "It seems the invisibility technique is still effective." Even so, he could still feel cold sweat soaking his back.

After calming his mind, Xu Hao began to concentrate. After a moment of adjustment, he shouted in his heart, "Now!" and released the red poison towards the Corpse King.

Seeing the red poison hit its target, Xu Hao felt a surge of excitement. The Corpse King let out a deafening roar, its scarlet eyes scanning the surroundings, searching for the source of the attack.

It soon discovered Xu Hao.

This is another drawback of invisibility; while it can conceal one's form, it cannot conceal one's movements. Xu Hao's attack was like a beacon in the darkness, instantly revealing his position.

"It senses me!" Xu Hao realized his situation had become extremely dangerous. The Corpse King began to move in his direction, each step causing the ground to tremble slightly.

Xu Hao took a deep breath and quickly cast an invisibility spell. He cautiously took a few steps back, avoiding the Zombie King's line of sight. The Zombie King roared angrily, trying to break through the dense horde of zombies around it, but its massive body became an obstacle instead.

Xu Hao seized the opportunity and quietly circled around to the side of the Corpse King. He took out a talisman from his pocket and cast the Soul Fire Talisman. The talisman instantly ignited, transforming into a beam of fire that struck the Corpse King.

The Corpse King roared again, turning and charging towards the source of the fire. Xu Hao, prepared, quickly used invisibility to disappear to the side. The Corpse King, losing Xu Hao's senses, missed its target and looked around in confusion.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Xu Hao moved a few steps towards the valley and took out another poison talisman. He held his breath, aimed at the corpse king's back, and threw the fire talisman, causing it to enrage again.

Repeating this process, Xu Hao constantly changed positions, relentlessly provoking the Corpse King with fire talismans. As soon as the red poison on the Corpse King dissipated, Xu Hao would immediately replenish it. After each attack, he would immediately use invisibility to evade. The Corpse King grew increasingly enraged, relentlessly chasing its unseen enemy, with the surrounding horde of zombies following its every move.
