The chaotic power within Li Jin surged, like a volcano about to erupt. He was about to attack when Wang Xuan stopped him. "Young man, do not be impulsive," Wang Xuan's voice boomed, causing the surrounding leaves to rustle. "This man possesses a profound aura; he is likely no ordinary person. Let me first probe his strengths."

Having said that, Wang Xuan's figure flashed, appearing before the king like a ghost. He placed one hand behind his back, and with a gentle wave of the other, an invisible force forced him back several steps.

"Who are you?" The king steadied himself, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

"I am Wang Xuan." Wang Xuan's tone was calm, yet carried an undeniable air of authority.

"Wang Xuan?" The king frowned, seemingly trying to recall the name. After a moment, his expression changed drastically, and he exclaimed, "You...you are the legendary reclusive master Wang Xuan?!"

The king's face grew even uglier. He hadn't expected Sophie to have found such a powerful backer. He had originally thought that with the royal guards he brought, he could easily capture Sophie and bring her back, but now it seemed that things were far more complicated than he had imagined.

"Senior Wang Xuan, this matter has nothing to do with you, please do not interfere." The king suppressed his fear and tried his best to remain calm.

The royal guards, as if granted a pardon, abandoned their armor and fled in disarray.

"It's all my fault, I dragged you into this," Sophie said remorsefully.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Li Jin chuckled and ruffled Sophie's hair. "Protecting you is my duty."

Sophie blushed and glared at Li Jin coquettishly.

"Ahem." Wang Xuan coughed twice, interrupting the ambiguous atmosphere between the two. "Young man, although you have obtained the 'Power of Chaos,' you still need to practice diligently to fully master it."

Li Jin quickly composed himself and nodded respectfully.

"Next, I will teach you a method to control the power of chaos." Wang Xuan said, taking out an ancient book from his pocket and handing it to Li Jin. "This book, 'The Chaos Manual,' is the culmination of my life's work. I hope you can study it carefully."
