Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure
Chapter 78 Survival from desperate situation
A woman with fiery red hair crawled out from beneath the giant spider's corpse, her posture alluring, like a witch emerging from hell. Her scarlet eyes swept over the crowd, finally locking greedily onto the black longsword in Li Jin's hand. "This sword, I want it." Her voice was hoarse and low, carrying a chilling allure.
The fight between Li Jin and Su Fei came to an abrupt halt, the two warily watching the suddenly appearing stranger. Su Fei frowned, and the men in black also stopped attacking, creating an eerily quiet atmosphere.
"Who are you?" Li Jin asked in a deep voice, gripping his long sword tightly. The woman's appearance was too abrupt, and her undisguised greed made him uneasy.
The woman chuckled softly, as if she had heard a funny joke. "You don't need to know who I am. You just need to know that the sword in your hand will soon be mine." She licked her lips with the tip of her bright red tongue, her eyes filled with a fanatical determination.
"Trying to steal my sword? Let's see if you have the ability!" Li Jin snorted coldly, his energy surging within him, and the black longsword emitted a low hum, as if responding to its master's fighting spirit.
"You've got quite the nerve." A hint of disdain flashed in the woman's eyes. "But you're not good enough."
Before she could finish speaking, the woman's figure flashed, her speed astonishing, and she instantly appeared in front of Li Jin. Her slender hand transformed into a sharp claw, carrying a fierce gust of wind, aiming straight for Li Jin's throat.
Li Jin reacted quickly, dodging the attack by sidestepping, and at the same time wielding his longsword, a black sword aura slashed towards the woman.
The woman smiled dismissively, her figure flashing once more as she easily dodged the sword energy. Her movements were agile, like a nimble cheetah, constantly circling around Li Jin, searching for an opening to attack.
Sophie stood aside, coldly observing the battle. She didn't intervene, seemingly pleased to see Li Jin in trouble. The men in black surrounded the group, preventing their escape.
Zhang Hao hid behind a boulder, trembling as he recorded a video on his phone. "Holy crap, who is this woman? She's a monster! If this gets uploaded online, it'll definitely go viral!" he muttered, but showed no intention of helping her.
Xiao Mei held Xiao Bai tightly, anxiously watching Li Jin. She wanted to rush over to help, but the men in black surrounded her, making it impossible for her to get close. Xiao Bai squirmed restlessly in her arms, letting out low whimpers.
Old Wang struggled to his feet, but the pain caused him to fall to the ground again. He watched Li Jin and the woman locked in fierce combat, his eyes filled with worry.
The battle between Li Jin and the woman grew increasingly intense. Their figures clashed in the air, sword energy and claw strikes colliding with deafening roars. Although Li Jin was powerful, the woman's speed was simply too great, making it difficult for him to gain the upper hand for the time being.
"Damn it!" Li Jin cursed under his breath, feeling his strength rapidly depleting. At this rate, he would be defeated sooner or later.
Just then, the woman suddenly revealed a strange smile. "I've had enough fun, it's time to end this."
She flashed again, instantly appearing behind Li Jin. Before Li Jin could react, he felt a sharp pain in his back, and a powerful force sent him flying.
Li Jin fell heavily to the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood. He struggled to get up, but found that he couldn't move his body.
The woman slowly walked up to Li Jin, looking down at him with a mocking gaze. "I told you, you're not qualified."
She raised her foot and stomped hard on Li Jin's chest, pinning him to the ground. "Now, hand over your sword."
Li Jin gritted his teeth, refusing to yield. "Don't even think about it!"
The woman sneered and increased the pressure on his foot. Li Jin felt a sharp pain in his chest, and it became difficult to breathe.
"Looks like you won't shed a tear until you see the coffin." A ruthless glint flashed in the woman's eyes as she raised her other foot, preparing to attack again.
Just then, a beam of white light suddenly descended from the sky, knocking the woman away.
Everyone looked up in surprise and saw an old man dressed in a white robe and holding a white staff slowly descending from the sky.
The old man had white hair and beard, and a kind face, but he exuded a powerful aura.
"Stop!" the old man shouted sternly.
The woman got up from the ground, her eyes filled with anger. "You old bastard, how dare you ruin my plans!"
The old man stared at her coldly. "Who are you? Why did you hurt my disciple?"
"Apprentice?" The woman was taken aback at first, then burst into laughter. "So this kid is your apprentice! Hahaha, what a stroke of luck!" Her eyes gleamed greedily at Li Jin. "Since he's your apprentice, he must be hiding a lot of good stuff, right? Old man, hand over your treasures obediently, and maybe I'll spare your life!"
The old man's face darkened. "You audacious fiend, how dare you be so arrogant!" He waved his staff, and a dazzling white light shot towards the woman...
