Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure

The old man had white hair and beard, wore a long gray robe, and leaned on a wooden cane carved with strange patterns. He walked steadily, showing no signs of old age, but rather exuding an air of otherworldly grace.

Li Jin's bloodshot eyes, previously glazed over in his berserk mode, gradually regained their clarity. He breathed heavily, his chest heaving like a wild beast that had just survived a battle. He glanced at Lin Na, lying on the ground, her clothes tattered and blood trickling from her mouth, then at the approaching old man, and asked疑惑地问道, "Who are you?"

The old man stroked his beard, looked at Li Jin with a deep gaze, and slowly said, "Young man, too much hostility is not a good thing."

Sophie, having recovered her senses, quickly ran to the old man and bowed, saying, "Sir, this woman is Linna, the dark witch from another world. She's been trying to capture me and take me back to marry the king!"

After listening, the old man frowned slightly and turned to look at Lin Na: "Young lady, is what this princess said true?"

Lin Na struggled to her feet, wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, and sneered, "Old man, who do you think you are? My affairs are none of your business!"

"Insolence!" The old man shouted, and an invisible wave of energy instantly sent Lin Na flying, crashing heavily to the ground once again.

Linna's expression changed drastically. She stared at the old man in terror, her eyes filled with fear. She then realized that she had offended someone she couldn't afford to offend.

"Sir, you are...?" Sophie asked tentatively.

The old man waved his hand: "I'm just a country bumpkin, nothing to brag about. But what are you all doing here?"

Li Jin and Su Fei exchanged a glance and briefly recounted their time-travel experience. The old man listened, a flicker of surprise crossing his eyes, before quickly regaining his composure.

"I see." The old man nodded. "It seems you have some special connection with this world."

"Old sir, do you know anything about this world?" Li Jin quickly asked, knowing that the old man in front of him was definitely not an ordinary person.

"I know a little," the old man said calmly. "This world is about to face a great crisis. And you may be the key to this crisis."

"Crisis?" Li Jin's heart sank. "What crisis?"

The old man did not answer directly, but instead asked, "Young man, where do you come from?"

"Earth," Li Jin answered truthfully.

"Earth..." the old man murmured to himself, seemingly deep in thought, "a world with highly advanced technology. It seems your arrival was not accidental."

"Sir, what exactly do you mean?" Li Jin was increasingly confused.

The old man smiled and said, "Young man, don't be in a hurry. Everything will be preordained. Right now, the most important thing is to deal with the immediate trouble." As he spoke, he looked at Linna.

Linna was trembling with fear. She knew she was no match for the old man, so she could only obediently shut her mouth.

The old man walked up to Lin Na, looking down at her: "Young lady, you have committed many evils and deserve punishment. But considering this is your first offense and there was a reason for it, I will spare your life. Go now, and don't do anything wrong again."

Linna was stunned; she hadn't expected the old man to let her go so easily. She quickly kowtowed in gratitude and then scrambled out of the cave.

Li Jin watched Lin Na's disheveled retreating figure, a secret satisfaction rising within him. This arrogant woman had finally gotten her just desserts.

"Thank you so much for your help, sir," Sophie said gratefully.

The old man waved his hand: "It was nothing, nothing to mention. But what are your plans now?"

Li Jin and Su Fei exchanged a glance, both somewhat bewildered. They were newcomers, knew nothing of this world, and had no idea where to go or what to do.

"Sir, could you please give us some pointers?" Li Jin asked earnestly.

The old man pondered for a moment, then said, "Since you have come to this world, it is fate. Why don't you come with me for now?"

"Following you?" Li Jin was somewhat surprised.

"That's good." The old man nodded. "I can teach you some things that might help you on your future journey."

Li Jin and Su Fei were overjoyed and quickly agreed. They knew they would learn a lot from this mysterious old man.

The old man smiled slightly and said, "Then let's go. My dwelling is deep inside this cave." With that, he turned and walked into the depths of the cave.

Li Jin and Su Fei quickly followed. The depths of the cave were pitch black, so dark that one couldn't see their own hand in front of their face. But strangely, the old man's figure was clearly visible, as if emitting a faint light.

Following the old man's footsteps, Li Jin and Su Fei gradually ventured deeper into the cave. After walking for an unknown amount of time, a glimmer of light suddenly appeared ahead.

The light grew brighter and brighter until finally, a huge cave appeared before Li Jin and Sophie. In the center of the cave was a crystal-clear ice platform, emitting a soft white light.

"Where is this place?" Li Jin asked in surprise.

"This is my place of cultivation," the old man said calmly, "and it will also be your place of cultivation in the future."

Li Jin and Sophie gazed at the scene before them, their hearts filled with curiosity and anticipation. They had no idea what kind of extraordinary adventure awaited them… Just then, the white light on the ice platform flickered, followed by a voice that echoed from it: “Welcome to my world…”
