The singing grew closer, seemingly echoing right next to her ear, making Sophie's hair stand on end. Li Jin also felt a chill run down his spine; the singing sounded exactly like a scene from a horror movie. He gripped the dagger in his hand tightly and cautiously looked around.

"What...what is that sound?" Sophie asked, her voice trembling as she gripped Li Jin's arm tightly.

Li Jin swallowed hard and said, trying to sound calm, "It's probably some kind of mountain spirit or monster. Don't be afraid, I'm here." Although he said that, he wasn't really sure. After all, if something like transmigrating to another world had already happened, what else was impossible?

The singing grew closer, accompanied by a rustling sound, and a figure slowly emerged from the depths of the cave. In the firelight, Li Jin and Su Fei could see the newcomer's appearance.

It was a woman, tall and slender, dressed in a black robe, with a silver mask covering her face, revealing only a pair of scarlet eyes, which looked particularly eerie in the dim cave.

"Who are you?" Li Jin asked in a deep voice.

The woman did not answer, but continued singing that eerie song, her voice ethereal and otherworldly, as if it came from another world.

"Stop playing tricks!" Li Jin said impatiently, raising his dagger and pointing it at the woman. "If you don't talk, don't blame me for being impolite!"

The woman stopped singing, her scarlet eyes fixed on Li Jin, and let out a cold laugh: "You? You think you can be impolite to me?"

Before he could finish speaking, the woman flashed and appeared in front of Li Jin in an instant. Before Li Jin could react, he felt a sharp pain in his chest, and he was sent flying backward, crashing heavily to the ground.

"Li Jin!" Sophie exclaimed and rushed over to help Li Jin up.

Li Jin clutched his chest, feeling as if several of his ribs were broken, the pain causing him to break out in a cold sweat. He hadn't expected this woman to be so formidable; he hadn't even had time to react.

"Who are you?" Li Jin asked through gritted teeth.

The woman removed her mask, revealing a stunningly beautiful face, but her scarlet eyes ruined the overall beauty, instead adding a touch of sinister allure.

"My name is Linna," the woman, Linna, said coldly. "Remember this name, because you will soon die by my hand."

"Lin Na?" Li Jin was stunned for a moment. Why did this name sound so familiar? Wait, Lin Na, the dark witch, who longs to control the entire world... Holy crap, isn't that the final boss in the novel?

Li Jin felt his head buzzing. How could he be so unlucky? He'd just transmigrated and already encountered the final boss? What was the point of playing this game?!

"You...you are Linna?" Sophie recognized Linna as well, and her face turned pale instantly.

Linna smiled dismissively: "What, surprised? Didn't expect to see me here?"

Sophie said, trembling, "What...what do you want to do?"

"What for?" Linna walked up to Sophie, looking down at her. "To take you back to marry the king, of course. You think you can escape?"

"I'd rather die than go back!" Sophie said stubbornly.

"Is that so?" Linna sneered, reaching out to grab Sophie by the neck. "Then I'll see how you die!"

Sophie was having difficulty breathing, her face flushed red. Seeing this, Li Jin's eyes widened in fury. He struggled to stand up, but found himself utterly powerless.

"Let her go!" Li Jin roared.

Lin Na glanced at Li Jin, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes: "You think you can order me around?"

"Cough cough cough..." Sophie struggled desperately, but could not break free from Lina's control.

Just then, Li Jin suddenly felt a powerful force surge through his body again, and the berserk mode was activated once more!

"Ah!" Li Jin let out a beast-like roar, his eyes turned blood red, and he pounced on Lin Na like a madman.

Lin Na was clearly surprised that Li Jin could still stand up, let alone that his speed and strength had increased so much. Caught off guard, she was sent flying by Li Jin's punch, crashing heavily into the stone wall.

"Pfft!" Lin Na spat out a mouthful of blood, her face turning deathly pale. She clutched her chest, staring at Li Jin in disbelief, her eyes filled with shock and fear.

Li Jin did not stop. Instead, he pounced on Lin Na again like a tiger descending a mountain, raining blows upon her.

"Ah! Ah! Ah!" Linna let out a series of shrill screams that echoed through the cave.

Sophie stared in disbelief at the scene before her. She hadn't expected Li Jin to be so ruthless, like a wild beast.

Li Jin was blinded by rage and completely lost his mind. He only wanted to tear Lin Na to pieces to vent his hatred.

Just then, an aged voice suddenly came from deep within the cave: "Stop!"

Li Jin's movements came to an abrupt halt. He turned to look into the depths of the cave, where he saw an elderly man with white hair slowly walking out...
