Li Jin fell to the ground, his mind buzzing. Sophie's actions and the appearance of the man in black completely stunned him. He struggled to his feet, clutching his aching chest, staring at the bizarre scene before him.

The man in black remained kneeling on one knee, his face hidden in shadow beneath his cloak, revealing only a pair of fanatical eyes. "Master, the Dark Cult has been waiting for you for a long time," he repeated, his tone unwavering and resolute.

"Dark Cult? What the hell?" Li Jin rubbed his temples, feeling like he'd fallen into the trap of some strange cult. "And what did you call me? Master? You've mistaken me for someone else!"

The man in black raised his head, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. "Master, don't you remember? You are the Supreme Envoy of the Dark God Cult, our faith, our..."

"Stop, stop, stop!" Li Jin quickly interrupted him. What was all this nonsense? When did he, a keyboard warrior, become some kind of cult's messenger? Did this transmigration system come with the identity of a cult leader? This was too absurd!

Sophie, pale-faced, clutched her chest, the blood at the corner of her mouth a horrifying sight. She stared intently at Li Jin and the man in black, her eyes filled with disbelief and… a hint of fear?

"Who...who exactly are you?" Sophie's voice trembled, as if she had seen something terrifying.

Before Li Jin could answer, Old Wang suddenly walked over, sizing up the man in black with a wise glint in his eyes. "The Dark God Cult... I didn't expect them to actually exist," he muttered to himself, his tone heavy with concern.

"Old Wang, what do you know?" Li Jin asked hurriedly, sensing that Old Wang seemed to know some inside information.

Old Wang sighed and explained, "The Dark God Cult is an ancient and mysterious organization in another world. They worship the God of Darkness and are said to possess great power. They have always been hidden in the shadows, and no one knows their purpose, but they are definitely not benevolent."

"A god of darkness? A god and a religion? This other world is so cringeworthy!" Li Jin couldn't help but complain. He felt like he had been dragged into a massive role-playing game.

Zhang Hao and Tom also recovered from their shock. Zhang Hao clutched his shoulder, looking at Li Jin with concern. "Li Jin, are you alright? What happened?"

Tom hid behind Zhang Hao, trembling. "I was so scared... I was terrified! Where... where is this place? Why are there such strange people here?"

Li Jin gave a wry smile; he himself was confused about the situation. "I don't know either! I'm even more confused than you guys!"

Just then, the man in black suddenly stood up and said in an icy tone, "Master, time is of the essence, we must leave here immediately."

"Leave? Where to?" Li Jin asked warily. He didn't want to follow a man in black who claimed to be his subordinate to some cult's lair without knowing why.

"Return to the Dark Temple." The man in black spoke firmly, leaving no room for argument.

"I refuse!" Li Jin refused without hesitation. He was joking, he had finally transmigrated here and hadn't even had a chance to enjoy the adventures of this other world yet. How could he go to some dark temple with a bunch of lunatics?

The man in black seemed surprised by Li Jin's refusal, pausing for a moment before a cold glint flashed in his eyes. "Master, this is your mission; you must obey!"

"Mission? My mission is to save the world, not to join some cult!" Li Jin retorted without backing down. "Let me tell you, I'm not some divine messenger. I'm Li Jin, a keyboard warrior from Earth, understand?"

The man in black remained silent for a moment, seemingly weighing the pros and cons. Just then, a sudden gust of wind swept through, and a huge black vortex appeared in the sky.

"Oh no! It's Lin Na!" Old Wang exclaimed, his face changing drastically.

As the black vortex appeared, a woman dressed in a black robe slowly descended from the sky. She had a seductive figure and a cold, beautiful face; she was none other than Lin Na, who had attacked Li Jin earlier.

Lin Na glanced at the man in black, a cold smile playing on her lips. "The Dark God Cult? Hmph, a bunch of clowns, daring to steal from me?" She then turned her gaze to Li Jin, her eyes gleaming with greed. "Li Jin, the power within you is mine. Come with me obediently!"

Li Jin cursed inwardly, "What is all this nonsense? How did I become such a hot commodity? One minute I'm the master of the Dark God Cult, the next I'm Lin Na's target. I just want to be a quiet keyboard warrior, why is that so difficult?"

Just then, the man in black suddenly stepped in front of Li Jin and said in an icy tone, "Lin Na, you won't take my master away!"

Linna smiled contemptuously, "You? You dare to stop me, you ant?" As she spoke, a ball of black flame appeared in her hand, radiating a suffocating and terrifying aura.

"Then let's give it a try!" The man in black showed no fear, and his hands beneath the cloak began to emanate a strange black energy...

A major battle was about to break out, but Li Jin suddenly felt dizzy and everything before his eyes began to blur...
