The valley was filled with spiritual energy, swirling like a thin veil of mist. Li Jin sat cross-legged, greedily absorbing the surrounding spiritual energy. He could feel this energy continuously flowing into his body, repairing the damage from the previous battle and replenishing the system's energy.

Huo Wu was thrown to the ground, looking utterly disheveled. She stared at Li Jin in terror, as if he were a wild beast ready to devour her. She wanted to run, but her legs felt like lead, and she couldn't move.

"What...what do you want to do?" Huo Wu's voice trembled, with a hint of crying.

Li Jin ignored her and continued to absorb spiritual energy with his eyes closed. As time passed, his aura grew stronger and stronger, and the surrounding spiritual energy formed a vortex, surging wildly into his body.

Huo Wu felt her body begin to tremble uncontrollably, as a strange power was being drawn out of her. She was horrified to discover that her power was rapidly dissipating, and that Li Jin was absorbing it!

"You...you absorbed my...spiritual energy?" Huo Wu stared wide-eyed in horror, finally understanding Li Jin's intentions.

Li Jin slowly opened his eyes, a cold smile playing on his lips: "What else did you think? Did you think I went through all this trouble to bring you here just to admire the scenery?"

"You...you demon!" Huo Wu roared, "You'll get your comeuppance!"

"Retribution?" Li Jin chuckled dismissively. "I, Li Jin, am my own retribution!"

After speaking, Li Jin closed his eyes again and increased the speed at which he absorbed spiritual energy. Huo Wu felt her body growing weaker and weaker, and her consciousness began to blur. She knew that if this continued, she would be drained dry sooner or later.

In despair, Huo Wu began to struggle desperately, trying to break free from Li Jin's control. But the more she struggled, the faster Li Jin absorbed spiritual energy, and the faster her power drained away.

"It's no use," Li Jin said coldly. "Just let me drain your spiritual energy, and you'll suffer less."

Huo Wu's struggles grew weaker and weaker, her consciousness gradually blurred, and her eyelids became heavier and heavier. Just as she was about to lose consciousness, she suddenly saw a figure appear at the entrance of the valley.

"Let her go." The woman walked up to Li Jin and said coldly.

Li Jin looked the woman up and down, a hint of amazement flashing in his eyes. He had to admit that this woman was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, without a doubt.

"You think I'll let her go just because you tell me to?" Li Jin chuckled mockingly. "Who do you think you are?"

A cold glint flashed in the woman's eyes, and she stretched out her slender hand and waved it gently.

A powerful force instantly sent Li Jin flying, crashing heavily to the ground.

Li Jin felt as if his internal organs had shifted. He struggled to stand up, but found that he couldn't move at all.

The woman walked over to Huo Wu and helped her up. Huo Wu leaned weakly against the woman, looking at her gratefully.

"Are you alright?" the woman asked with concern.

"I...I'm fine..." Huo Wu replied weakly.

The woman turned to look at Li Jin, her eyes filled with anger: "How dare you lay a hand on her? You're asking for trouble!"

Li Jin struggled to lift his head, looking at the woman with shock and fear in his eyes. He finally realized that he had messed with someone he shouldn't have.

"Who...who are you?" Li Jin asked, trembling.

The woman gave a cold laugh: "I am...Sophie."

Li Jin's mind went blank. Sophie? Of course he had heard of that name. She was the princess of this other world, possessing powerful magical abilities and known as the "Flower of the Empire"!

He actually... he actually offended the empire's princess!
