Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure

The dimly lit rented room was filled with the aroma of instant noodles and a lingering stench of feet. Li Jin, a typical urban office worker, was frantically typing away at his computer screen, his fingers flying across the keyboard like a rock musician playing death metal.

"This game is garbage! The game designers are eating shit! The balance is terrible!" Li Jin roared, and on the screen, his game character fell at the feet of the BOSS once again.

He grabbed the crumpled cigarette pack on the table and shook it for a long time, but couldn't get a single cigarette out.

"Damn it!" Li Jin slammed the empty cigarette pack on the table, grabbed a half-empty bottle of cola, and gulped it down, mumbling, "I've spent so much money on this game, and I can't even beat a boss! This game company is truly heartless and rotten!"

A private message popped up on the screen: "Bro, calm down, it's just a game."

The other person seemed startled and didn't dare reply for a long time. Li Jin snorted smugly, just about to continue his tirade, when suddenly the computer screen flickered, followed by a mechanical electronic voice in his mind:

Li Jin was stunned. He subconsciously rubbed his eyes, wondering if he was hallucinating from working so hard.

"System binding in progress... Binding successful! Host: Li Jin. Current points: 0. Newbie gift pack has been issued, open it?"

Before Li Jin could react, a virtual panel appeared in front of him, displaying all sorts of information that dazzled him.

"What the hell?" he muttered to himself, reaching out to poke the panel, only to find that it was actually real!

"Open the newbie gift pack," Li Jin said tentatively.

"The newbie gift pack has been opened. You have obtained: Basic Swordsmanship Mastery, Beginner Magic Introduction, Otherworld Language Pack, and 1 Random Teleportation Scroll."

Before Li Jin could process all this information, he felt a sudden dizziness, and then he found himself no longer in his rented room.

He stood in a dense forest, surrounded by ancient trees that reached into the clouds, the air filled with the fragrance of earth and grass.

"I...time traveled?" Li Jin looked around in disbelief, feeling both excited and terrified.

Just then, the sound of fighting came from not far away. Li Jin looked in the direction of the sound and saw a young girl in a gorgeous long dress fighting with a group of men in black.

The girl was agile and had sharp swordsmanship, but she was outnumbered and gradually lost ground.

"Help!" the girl suddenly cried out in Li Jin's direction, her eyes filled with despair.

Li Jin hesitated for a moment. He knew that he was powerless and that rushing forward would only lead to his death.

But the mechanical electronic voice in his mind sounded again: "Host has been detected to be facing a choice: help the attacked girl? Choosing to help will grant additional rewards, choosing not to help will deduct points."

Li Jin gritted his teeth, thinking that since he had nothing to lose anyway, he might as well take a gamble!

He took a deep breath, shouted, "Stop!" and then charged forward...

Just as Li Jin rushed forward, his body was suddenly enveloped by an invisible force. Then, he felt as if he had become another person, his movements became exceptionally agile, and the wooden stick in his hand became as sharp as a sword.

He rushed towards the men in black, his wooden stick flashing like lightning, instantly knocking down several of them.

Upon seeing this, the remaining men in black all showed expressions of terror and turned to flee.

"Trying to run? Not so easy!" Li Jin sneered and gave chase...

Just as Li Jin was dominating the battlefield and enjoying the power boost from the system, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back.

He turned around and saw a man in black had somehow gotten behind him, and a dagger in his hand plunged viciously into his back...
