Rick and Mihoko walked up to Coacheta and Diane.

Diane and Coacheta were clearly still reeling from what had just happened.

When Rick saw the brown-haired pregnant female soldier, he recognized her as Diane Roseworth, another female protagonist in Death Road 2.

Rick spoke first when he saw Coachella and Diane staring at him with blank, smug expressions.

"Mr. Coacheta, aren't you going to introduce the young lady you're kissing and hugging?"

Upon hearing this, Coachella and Diane immediately snapped out of their daze, realizing that the man in front of them and the girl next to them had witnessed what happened before they were in danger.

This made both of them blush instantly.

Rick laughed when he saw this.

"I didn't see anything at all!"

Meanwhile, Mieko, standing beside him, retorted to her man like a naive and innocent girl.

“Honey, lying is wrong. I told you I was going over there, but you held me back and wouldn’t let me. You were secretly watching from there for ages.”

Upon hearing this, Rick was overcome with embarrassment. He scratched the back of his head and awkwardly laughed, pretending to be clueless.

"Huh? Is that so? Hahaha."

This scene turned Kochetta's gratitude for Rick and his friends' timely intervention into anger, and he roared in rage.

"Rick, you spying bastard, you better forget about this. If you dare to tell anyone, I promise I'll kill you!"

Seeing Kochetta's enraged expression, Rick smiled and said...

"Don't worry, as a man I understand this. Every family has a beautiful and lovely wife."

After Rick finished speaking, he affectionately patted Mihoko's head again, even though the first thing he felt in his hand was the cold touch of the combat helmet.

Rick waved his hand and said to Kocheta, "You still don't understand me, but you'll see soon enough. Now, take us there quickly and get rid of that lord-level zombie as soon as possible."

At that moment, Mieko reached out her hand to Coacheta and said...

"Where's my combat shotgun? Can you give it back to me now?"

Kocheta turned his head away and whistled guiltily.

Mihoko looked puzzled, while Diane glared fiercely at Kocheta.

Seeing this, Rick sent a message to Mieko via telepathy.

"Mieko, forget about that weapon. I'll upgrade a new one for you later. You can just give him the one that wasn't upgraded."

Mieko replied with a message.

"It's alright, your husband will upgrade it to be even more powerful. Just give him this gun; it'll be a good favor."

"Alright then, I'll do as you say."

Rick didn't hesitate; he immediately activated the enhancement system and put his Seiga 12 combat shotgun into the enhancement slot.

At this point, the optional enhancement options for the Sega 12 appear: power, range, rate of fire, recoil, weight, and durability.

Rick decided to splurge this time, so he immediately spent 1500 points to do 10 consecutive draws, aiming to enhance everything except durability by at least 10 points.

He looked at Rick and Mieko with some embarrassment.

"The ammunition and drum magazines are here; come and get them yourself."

Afterwards, Mieko returned to Rick's side.

Kocheta and Diane walked to the place Mihoko had mentioned with suspicious looks, and then they were stunned by the scene in front of them.

A sprayer zombie stood beside the damaged isolation door, watching the crowd.

"No! Diane!"

Kochetta rushed forward with a worried expression and pulled Diane aside.

The jetpacker roared angrily after seeing its prey being dragged away by another prey.

It began to gather strength in its throat again, preparing to spray its slime at Kocheta and Diane in front of it.

At this point, Coachella could not go far with the terrified Diane. As the smoke on their stomachs grew thicker, their black special protective suits were gradually being corroded away.

Just then, Rick gave the order to Coacheta.

"Cochetta, quickly take off Diane's combat suit and throw it at that jetpack's head!"

Upon hearing this, Kocheta ignored the jetpack zombies that were gradually approaching the two of them and immediately began to remove Diane's combat suit.
