I thrived in the primitive tribe

Chapter 13 Lu Yao's Request

When the chief returned from hunting with everyone, he was thinking about the clan's wicker basket project. After making arrangements for the follow-up, he went to the place where Lu Yao and the others were weaving. What came into view was a lot of wicker baskets that had already been woven.

Because of this lesson, the rattan baskets that Lu Yao asked everyone to make were not very big, so it didn't take much time, and almost everyone finished making them.

The leader was very excited as he looked at the scene before him.

"You are all excellent, you are all heroes of the tribe."

Hearing the leader's praise, everyone laughed happily. They chattered about which parts they had made and how well they had learned.

"Alright, everyone, you've all worked hard. We've hunted a few wild animals today, so let's eat our fill tonight."

The crowd cheered and escorted the leader toward the square. Lu Yao was also surrounded by people in the center of the crowd. Seeing everyone's happy faces, the Great Shaman tidied up the rattan baskets that had been made and put them away before returning to his cave to rest.

"I'll go over after I've finished cooking; there's nothing I can do to help if I go now."

"Great Shaman, what's going on outside? Why is it so lively?"

"The chief came to check on everyone's progress in weaving today. When he saw the finished wicker baskets, he was so happy that everyone started laughing and joking. Now we're going to the square to cook."

"I see~" Luo Xue seemed a little dejected.

"You should recover from your injury quickly so you can be with everyone again."

How long will it take for my injury to heal?

"It should take about 3 more days. You should be able to get out of bed and walk around tomorrow."

"Your arm might need a little more time to heal, since it was broken before. I checked it recently, and your arm is recovering quite well. To avoid any future problems, it's best to let it rest longer. You don't want to be unable to go hunting in the future, do you?"

After listening to the Great Shaman's words, Luo Xue obediently focused on recovering from her injuries and stopped thinking about other things.

The square was bustling with activity. Some people had already cut off the bull's head and skinned it. The skin was considered tribal property and would be stored away after processing, to be used later.

Looking at the huge cattle in front of her, Luo Yao wondered if she could finish eating them all.

"Don't look at all that. If we eat as much as we want, this won't be enough." A familiar voice rang in my ears.

Lu Yao turned her head and saw that it was indeed Luo Ya standing next to her.

"Are orcs really that big of an eater?"

"What do you think? How can you have the strength to deal with danger if you don't eat much?"

"Too."

Lu Yao previously taught everyone how to make better food, and now many people know how to do it. They have even applied what they learned to other dishes and come up with many different ways to combine food.

Although some of the dishes weren't very tasty, some were truly impressive; they were incredibly clever.

Several stone pots were lit at the same time in the evening, and it took a long time to finish cooking. Cooking is more troublesome than before. It's not like before when you could just put things in a pot and boil them. Now, they try everything they can think of to fry, stir-fry, and cook.

So it was two hours later before we finally got to eat.

Lu Yao took advantage of everyone cooking to find the leader.

"Chief, I discovered a very resilient vine today. I want to try to see if I can use it to weave clothing, the kind we wear."

"Sure, do whatever you want. If you encounter any problems, come to me and I'll try to solve them for you. If we can't solve them, we'll have a big meeting to discuss them, and we'll always find a solution."

"Thank you, Chief, but I might need you to send Feng Nan to me. He is very talented in weaving, and I would like him to help me with the production."

"can."

"There's another thing. I think the stone pots and basins in our tribe are very inconvenient to use. The stone pots are fine for cooking, as they don't need to be moved much, but the stone basins are very inconvenient."

"Then what do you mean?"

"When you go out, could you look for some unusual-looking soil nearby? It's usually more sticky than regular soil. You might find some in swampy areas. If you see any, could you bring some back?"

"What do you need this soil for?"

"I was thinking of seeing if I could try to fire some pottery to store things or something."

"Okay, I'll definitely bring it back to you if I see it. Is there anything else you need?"

"That's all for now. If I think of anything else in the future, I'll have to come and bother you, Chief."

"No problem, feel free to ask for anything you need. If I'm not in the tribe, you can discuss it with the High Priest."

"Ok, thank you."
