Just then, Cruise ran over in a panic and shouted, "Jack, something bad has happened! We've found some strange traces here, it looks like there are other creatures."

Jack's relaxed expression immediately turned serious, and his eyes instantly sharpened like an eagle's: "Don't panic, tell me carefully."

"I was patrolling just now and I saw some marks on the ground that I've never seen before. They don't look like we left them," Cruise said, panting. "The marks were crooked and looked like they were made by something dragging."

Jack and Tom immediately got up and walked in the direction Cruise pointed. They saw some huge footprints on the ground, shaped like human feet, but with unusually large and sharp toes. Each footprint was deeply embedded in the soil, and there was some unknown slime scattered around it.

"Everyone be careful, there might be danger!" Jack said warily. "Keep an eye on your surroundings."

As soon as the words were spoken, a group of bizarre, humanoid creatures rushed out of the nearby woods. They were tall, with eerie green skin covered in bumpy, raised bumps that resembled hard scales. Their eyes gleamed red, like burning embers, and they emitted low, guttural roars that seemed to pierce the soul, sending chills down one's spine.

The expedition members quickly picked up their weapons and went into battle mode.

"Fire!" Jack shouted. "Concentrate fire and attack their weak points!"

In an instant, the light from the laser guns and the roars of the monsters mingled. Beams of laser light shot towards the monsters, splattering green blood that emitted a pungent stench as they struck their bodies.

"There are too many monsters on the left, I can't hold on much longer!" one of the team members shouted. His forehead was covered in sweat, and his hands were trembling slightly from tension, but he still gripped the laser gun tightly and kept firing.

"I'm coming to your aid!" Tom shouted back, quickly running over to help. He fired as he ran, bullets streaking through the air.

"Watch out for the monster's attacks!" Jack shouted to his teammates as he fired. A monster swung its thick arm and lunged at Jack, who nimbly dodged to the side and simultaneously fired a shot from behind, hitting the monster in the eye.

After a fierce battle, the expedition team, with its excellent teamwork and powerful weapons, gradually gained the upper hand. Seeing the situation was turning against them, the strange creatures turned and fled.

"Stop chasing! Repairing the spaceship is the priority!" Jack shouted. "Don't linger in the fight!"

The team members quickly returned to the spacecraft and sped up the repair work.

"Tom, how's the energy system repair going?" Jack asked, his eyes fixed on Tom's actions.

“It will take some more time,” Tom replied, sweating profusely. “Several parts are too badly damaged and need to be readjusted.”

"Hurry up, we have to get out of here as soon as possible." Jack's forehead was covered in sweat, and his expression was anxious. "We don't know if those monsters will come back."

"Everyone, give it your all and help!" Cruise shouted.

Thanks to everyone's joint efforts, the spacecraft was finally repaired and took off again.

"Take off!" With Jack's command, the spaceship slowly ascended, its engines spewing blue flames, and the powerful thrust gradually freed the spaceship from the gravity of this dangerous planet.

The spaceship had just left that dangerous planet, and before everyone could even breathe a sigh of relief, a dense asteroid belt appeared ahead.

"Holy crap, it's the planetary belt!" Tom exclaimed, his eyes wide with terror.

Jack stared intently ahead, his expression grave, the veins on his forehead throbbing slightly: "Attention everyone, prepare for the impact!" His hands gripped the control stick tightly, his knuckles turning white from the force.

The spaceship struggled through the asteroid belt, with planets of all sizes constantly passing by. Some planets were covered with craters, while others shone with strange light. A slight misstep could result in a catastrophic collision.

"A giant planet is approaching from the left!" Cruise shouted, his voice trembling slightly.

Jack quickly maneuvered the spaceship, pulling hard on the control stick, and the spaceship swerved to the side, narrowly avoiding the giant planet.

Inside the infirmary, Shen Ying felt a violent tremor. Her heart leaped into her throat, and she gripped the armrests of the chair tightly, her eyes fixed on the repair pod, fearing that something might happen to Zhang Wei inside.

Meanwhile, Bai Sanxing, who had been sitting and dozing off when he was jolted off the ground, just got up with a bewildered expression, looking like he was wondering, "Who am I? Where am I?" He said, "What happened? This is like riding a roller coaster."

Shen Ying shook her head, her brows furrowed: "I don't know. But I have a feeling the situation isn't good."

Inside the cockpit.

"Hold on, everyone!" Jack shouted to encourage his team. "We can get through this!"

Suddenly, an asteroid struck the outer shell of the spaceship, causing it to shake violently and alarms to sound incessantly.

"Report, the right wing of the spaceship is damaged!" Tom said anxiously, sweat streaming down his face.

Jack gritted his teeth and roared, "Concentrate your energy, stabilize the shield!"

The team members operated various instruments nervously, their fingers flying across the control panel as they tried to maintain the spacecraft's balance.

Time passed second by second, each second filled with danger and the unknown.

"The planets ahead are densely packed; we can't pass through directly!" Cruise shouted, his voice filled with despair.

Cold sweat beaded on Jack's forehead as he suppressed his emotions: "Find an opening and force your way through!"

Under Jack's decisive command, the spaceship dodged left and right, struggling to traverse the planetary belt.

"We're almost there, everyone hang in there!" Jack shouted excitedly, his voice hoarse with tension.

Finally, the spaceship successfully traversed the planetary belt, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief, slumping back into their seats.

"Check the damage to the spaceship and prepare to move on," Jack said, a hint of fatigue in his voice.

After traversing the asteroid belt, the spaceship continued its journey for some time. However, the calm did not last long.

"Oh no, it's a cosmic storm!" one of the team members shouted in alarm, his voice trembling.

A powerful storm swept in instantly, and the spaceship swayed in the gale like a fallen leaf.

"Don't panic!" Jack shouted at the top of his lungs, "Stabilize the spaceship!"

The cosmic storm grew increasingly violent, engulfing the spaceship and making it seem as if it would be torn apart at any moment.

In the chaos, everyone stared intently at the scene before them, their minds on edge. The colorful energy streams twisted and writhed like raging pythons, bursting forth with dazzling light that momentarily illuminated the dark void, only to plunge into even deeper darkness the next instant.

The massive electromagnetic pulses, like surging waves, crashed against the spaceship wave after wave, causing its hull to creak and groan in a chilling manner, as if it were groaning in pain.

Countless charged particles, like a dense rain of arrows, traversed the universe at astonishing speeds, distorting and deforming space wherever they went, like a crumpled piece of paper.

Inside the cosmic storm, the powerful gravitational field bends light, creating eerie light and shadow effects, as if it were a passage to hell.

"Jack, what do we do?" Cruise's voice trembled, his eyes filled with confusion.

Then, they discovered a huge gray planet ahead of them.

"What planet is this?" Jack asked, his expression grave, his brow furrowed in deep thought.
