Blizzard read this sentence over and over again, turning the screen off and then on again to continue reading.

Her parents used to be very supportive of her, but in the end, she wanted to live a stable life as they envisioned, without any changes or upheavals, because that was the best kind of life.

God knows how happy her teachers were when she was admitted to the top high school. It was as if her life was now secure and that they had made the right choice.

Blizzard smiled and sighed, as memories flashed through his mind like a slideshow.

Looking back on everything that has happened, and then looking at this sentence again, I realize how wonderful it feels to receive this unconditional support.

Put down your phone and look out the window at the scenery rushing past.

She hadn't actually figured out what to do. Her first thought was that Sasha needed her, so she did it.

……

The high-speed train arrived at the station, and with the time spent taking a taxi, the blizzard reached the venue at exactly six o'clock. The dark circles under her eyes perfectly illustrated her arduous journey.

Knowing that Sasha would get up at 6:30, she found a breakfast stall outside, ate her food, waited a while, and then called Sasha at the perfect time.

Sasha's voice on the other end of the phone was soft and sweet, with a hint of morning grumpiness.

"Get up quickly, I ordered takeout for you, go to the door to pick it up."

Sasha didn't suspect it was a prank, quickly washed up and went out.

When she ran into her teammates on the same floor, she invited them to have lunch together, but Sasha waved her hand and said, "You guys go first."

When Sasha arrived at the venue entrance, she peeked around, looking for a familiar figure, when Blizzard suddenly appeared from the side.

"Have you got a meal yet?"

Chinese greetings are inextricably linked to food.

"I ate it, I didn't bring you any."

"Then take this punch!"

Sasha waved her fist and punched Blizzard's pocket, feeling its warmth.

"How could this be so violent?" Blizzard pulled a plastic bag from his pocket. "I brought you beef buns—but they've turned into pies now."

Sasha took the flattened bun she had smashed and started eating it, letting Blizzard follow her into the room.

Blizzard: "Looks like you're not surprised at all by my arrival."

Sasha felt only joy, not surprise. "I knew you would come."

Blizzard: "Oh? Why?"

"You'll always be there when I need you."

"What did you find?"

Sasha agreed.

Blizzard: "So when you're looking for a partner in the future, your standards can't be lower than mine."

……

Given that Sasha still had training to do, the two kept their conversation brief.

Sasha first confirmed that her phone and tablet were with her and had not been lost, but she knew that someone must have tampered with them.

After hearing Blizzard's description of the video, she became even more certain, and while eating a pie, she explained that something was wrong:

"First, I noticed yesterday at noon that I hadn't received any messages from you, which I found strange. Although you don't send many messages during the competition, you would definitely send me something during mealtimes, so I suspected that someone might have tampered with my phone."

Blizzard showed Sasha the chat log where she was told not to call her, and Sasha confirmed that it wasn't Sasha who sent it.

"So you did send it to me, but the conversation was deleted. At that time, that person was using a tablet to forge the chat history. To make sure I wouldn't notice, they told you not to call me and to delete the chat history afterward."

"Yes."

Sasha said, "I discovered that the tablet had been tampered with because I usually use it to watch game videos and I never close the background apps. But when I opened the tablet after dinner yesterday, it was just the main screen with nothing running in the background."

“My phone password is the same as my tablet password. Yesterday morning, when I tried to unlock my phone, it showed that fingerprint verification failed. I thought I had accidentally touched it and entered the password. My password is simple. Maybe someone saw it at that time and unlocked my tablet.”

Blizzard: "Last night I said goodnight to you, but after you replied, you quickly stopped responding. Logically, you should have said something to me to ease the tension during the match the next day, but you didn't say anything."

So you were afraid someone would see your chat history.

Sasha let out a sigh of relief. "I sensed something was wrong with you. You noticed my worry."

Blizzard patted her head. "Don't be afraid."

Then the analysis continued: "So this person, first, needs to be able to get close to you and see your password; second, needs to be able to access your luggage; and third, needs to know how long you use the tablet."

When he forged the chat logs, he knew you wouldn't touch the tablet; he exited the background apps, perhaps because there wasn't enough time to restore the original interface, so he simply exited everything.

Sasha nodded, feeling a bit choked after finishing a steamed bun, and then took the milk that Blizzard had already put a straw in and handed it to Shunshun.

After finishing her drink, Blizzard naturally took the box and handed her another one, but Sasha waved it off.

Blizzard continued, "Yesterday, Qiu Shiyue showed me the chat history. Although the video was short, every single message seemed to imply that you were the one chatting. They were practically writing your ID number on it. At the end, they even showed your little white bag and pendant. Finally, the camera panned to the training ground."

Sasha said, "So this person took my tablet at the last minute and forged chat records on WeChat. It was all premeditated, otherwise it would have taken a long time just to type."

Well said.

"Although I know it's related to Qiu Shiyue, I don't know who her mole is, so do you have any suspects?"

Sasha ate and pondered, finishing both pies without figuring out who it might be: "So many people come and go at the warm-up area every day, it's really hard to guess."

Blizzard sighed, "Since the other side came prepared, checking the surveillance footage might not reveal anything."

Before Sasha went to the training ground, Blizzard called out to her, "But how did you know I would come?"

"I didn't know you would come, but I had a feeling you would."

-

Although Blizzard was prepared, they were still disappointed when Sasha went to training and asked to see the surveillance footage, claiming she had lost something, only to find nothing.

I felt a little relieved after calling my parents and contacting my teammates at home to confirm that Qiu Shiyue couldn't go out today and there was no possibility of her needing to get her phone repaired.

"Are you feeling better?"

After a moment of reaction, Blizzard realized that the other party was concerned about her being bullied by Qiu Shiyue, so she quickly said that it was nothing and that she would be back by tomorrow afternoon at the latest, and asked her to keep an eye on Qiu Shiyue.

She was already here; she wasn't going to leave empty-handed. She didn't believe anything could be perfectly flawless. If something was done by humans, there would always be loopholes.

She didn't come to compete, nor as an athlete, and the coach didn't know she was there, so she couldn't sit in the athletes' section.

To make things easier for her, Sasha got her a work pass so she could enter and exit the venue as a volunteer and prepare for the competition with other volunteers.

Blizzard thinks it's great.

Other volunteers were frequently seen entering and leaving the venue; perhaps someone had some clues, but it wasn't appropriate to search openly.

She obtained the list of all volunteers, and after removing those whose schedules didn't match and whose assignments weren't with Sasha, there were only four who were suitable.

Let's start with these four people.
