The strongest astral army in Warhammer 40K

Chapter 84 "The Orc" Russell

Russell looked different in the mirror.

Russell's height used to be 180 cm. He gained 10 super armors, which increased his height by 1 cm. Now he has gained another 10.3 cm, and his current height is 191.3 cm.

Some might think that the increase in height is not significant, but Russell's physique has changed dramatically. He was not exactly thin before, but now he is much more robust.

For example, Russell used to weigh 200 pounds, but now he weighs 300 pounds.

At first glance, Russell's physique resembles that of WWE superstars like Brock Lesnar, who are known as "The Beast," and his muscles may even be more exaggerated.

Now, his muscles, without exaggeration, completely outclass those of the men in Qatar; each massive muscle, as solid as steel, resembles a perfect Greek sculpture.

Russell casually bent his arm, and his biceps bulged out like rocks.

"Isn't that a bit too much?" Russell said with a laugh.

He was extremely satisfied with his current physique; it would be difficult to find a man as strong as him in the Astral Army.

But one thing troubled him: he could no longer wear his tactical armor, and his pants and boots were several sizes too small. What should he do? People outside would become suspicious of such a drastic change, and how would he explain it? He thought for a long time but couldn't come up with a good idea, so he just sat there shaking his head for hours.

"Captain Russell, are you there? Commander Borg is looking for you!" A Cadian warrior knocked on the door from outside.

Russell paused for a moment before speaking: "Is there something Commander Borg looking for me?"

“He didn’t say it, he just told me he wanted to talk to you in person.”

Russell reluctantly opened the door. This Cadian warrior recognized the old Russell, but did not recognize this super-strong, muscular Russell.

The Kadian warrior was startled and exclaimed: Who are you?

Russell frowned and said: I am Russell!

The Cadian warrior gaped in astonishment and asked, "Are you really Captain Russell?"

Russell nodded and said: I am Russell, the real Captain Russell!

"But what's going on with your height and muscles?"

Russell pretended not to know and said: I don't know what happened either.

"So, are you still going to see Commander Borg?"

"Go and get me a full set of the largest size tactical armor, pants, and boots. How am I supposed to see Commander Borg now that I'm half-naked?"

The warrior, Kadian, nodded and said, "Captain Russell, wait for me. I'll go get it for you."

About half an hour later, the Kadian warriors brought the largest size tactical armor. Russell put it on, and the pants and boots fit well, but the chest armor was still too small. His bulging muscles stretched the tactical armor taut.

After changing his clothes, Russell came out of the house. Now he was half a head taller than the Cadian warrior beside him, and more than twice as wide.

Along the way, the Star Guardians cast strange glances at Russell, and some began to whisper among themselves.

"Holy crap, who is this? He looks like a bear."

"Isn't that Captain Russell? What happened to him?"

"Look, his arms are thicker than my thighs!"

"Is this guy even human? He's more like a bear."

"An orc, his physique is like that of an orc."

Amidst the murmurs of the crowd, Russell and the Cardian warriors entered the operations room together.

"Commander, Captain Russell has arrived!"

Commander Borg looked up and his smile froze on his face. His eyes widened, bigger than a bull's eyes. Yes, he was so surprised that he couldn't speak for a long time.

"Commander Borg, it is I, Russell!"

After a while, Commander Borg finally realized and asked: Are you really Russell?

Russell frowned and said: Of course I am Russell.

How did you become so strong?

"I don't know what happened. Maybe I gained weight after the injury!"

Borg shook his head and said: "Impossible, you're not fat, you're strong, you're as strong as an ox."

Russell pondered for a moment and said: "May the Emperor bless me. Perhaps the Emperor felt I was too weak, so he manifested his power to make me strong."

Borg rubbed his forehead and said, "My God, I've never seen anything like this in my life. I can't assign you any tasks right now. I want to take you to Commissar Kane. This change in you is too strange." He didn't say aloud whether he had been corrupted.

Commissar Kane was equally surprised to see Russell, and then looked him over and asked: Are you feeling unwell?

Russell shook his head and said: "I feel no discomfort."

“You need to see the Grand Inquisitor of the Devil’s Court.” Commissar Kane couldn’t figure out why Russell had become like this.

Borg spoke up: "Commissar Kane, I don't think Russell should go see the Grand Inquisitor. He doesn't seem corrupt to me. If he sees the Grand Inquisitor, it will probably cause a lot of trouble."

Commissar Kane pondered for a moment and said: Russell has no signs of mutation. Although his physique is exaggerated, all the muscular men in Katachon are like that. If no one tells anyone, this matter is fine. But if it gets to the Devil's Tribunal, then it will be troublesome.

“I don’t see anything wrong with it. After all, apart from the two of us, the people who deal with Russell are just ordinary Star Guardians. Even if some Space Marines recognize him, they won’t notice his change, because Space Marines are much larger,” Commander Borg calmly analyzed.

Commissar Kane nodded and said, "What you said makes sense, but if we keep it a secret, Russell will corrupt us and we'll be finished."

Russell immediately replied: "Commissar Kane, I am willing to see the Grand Inquisitor!"

Commissar Kane frowned slightly and said, "Russell, you don't know that after you meet the Grand Inquisitor, you will undergo many severe tests. Even if you don't die, you will be badly injured. Borg and I believe in you. It's not too late to meet the Grand Inquisitor when this matter can no longer be suppressed."

Borg said: This is the most suitable way. The battle on the front lines is intense right now, and the Star Wing Army needs a warrior like you to lead them.

Russell nodded and said: Thank you.

Borg smiled and said, "You're welcome. I really need you, and I believe Commissar Kane needs you too."

Commissar Kane nodded and said: I know you are a kind person, but you must have a firm will.

Russell didn't understand what he meant by that, but he nodded and said, "Thank you for reminding me."

"Are you ready? You're going to have a new mission again!" Commander Borg asked tentatively.

Russell immediately stood up straight and said: I'm always ready.

"This time you need to lead a thousand Kadian warriors to a rebel stronghold, which is now guarded by thousands of rebels."

"Guaranteed to complete the mission!"

After Russell left, the two exchanged a glance.

"Why do you think Russell became like this?" Commissar Kane asked Borg.

Borg shook his head and said: I don't know!
