Russell had seen the Dark Elves, but there was only one of them at the time. Even though there was only one Dark Elf, he still managed to kill thousands of Star Guardians with his agile movements. In the end, it was the Space Marines who had to step in to kill him.

Now they have to face these terrifying enemies alone, and it's uncertain whether they can hold out until Titus arrives.

When Russell charged forward, he was already prepared. He didn't intend to attack or kill the enemy; all he wanted to do was protect himself, using two melee weapons to shield his surroundings and prevent the dark elves from killing him quickly.

Hold the power axe in your left hand in front of your chest and the Bloodthirster in your right hand at your neck. This allows you to quickly parry enemy weapons.

The dark elves arrived almost instantly, and Russell immediately activated "Emperor's Blessing!" transforming into a true man for five seconds.

When the two were close enough, Russell finally saw the dark elf's appearance clearly. She was a woman dressed very provocatively, with fierce eyes, and holding a black dagger.

Her speed was absurd; the black dagger slashed towards his neck. Russell instinctively moved the Blood Drinker, and the two weapons collided.

The daggers wielded by this dark elf were no ordinary daggers; they were known as "Obsidian Blades," incredibly sharp and powerful weapons capable of cutting through iron like mud. If Russell had been wielding an ordinary entrenching tool, it would have cleaved him in two, along with his neck. Unfortunately for Russell, his weapon was also a divine weapon, and ten thousand times more valuable than the so-called "Obsidian Blades."

After the sparks flew, a hint of surprise flashed in the dark elf's eyes, but it quickly turned even more ferocious. With a roar, he wildly swung his obsidian blade at Russell.

If Russell hadn't slain the succubus and gained a thousand Swiftness of the Wind, he might already be a corpse. With the blessing of Swiftness of the Wind, he can still protect himself.

The dark elf seemed to be dancing, spinning wildly around Russell, his obsidian blade constantly drawing perfect arcs.

Russell, on the other hand, focused intently on the battle, gradually becoming more agile and adept at parrying, his initial stiffness and timidity giving way to increasing agility.

To outsiders, the fight between the two lasted only a minute, but in reality, they had already exchanged a hundred blows, with the dark elf constantly attacking while Russell kept parrying.

The dark elf quickly retreated, looking at Russell with interest and saying: "You human are quite interesting."

Russell, still in a defensive stance, coldly said: "Go on, you perverted, cruel black bean sprout."

"If I can't kill him, can't I kill others?" The dark elf sneered and charged at Russell once again.

Russell quickly tried to focus on the battle, but the dark elf dodged in a flash and rushed towards Kayans and the others behind him.

"Watch out!" Russell shouted and quickly chased after the dark elf.

But it was too late. The dark elves unleashed a deathly wind among the warriors of Kadian, and about thirty warriors were instantly decapitated, collapsing in agony, while the rest scattered and fled.

"Black Bean Sprout, your opponent is me!" Russell roared.

The dark elf turned and attacked Russell again, and Russell was shocked and quickly raised the Blood Drinker to block.

This time he didn't defend properly. He blocked the first blow, but he couldn't block the second, the third, and so on.

More than a dozen deep, bone-revealing wounds appeared on Russell's body, with as many as four on his right arm. His tactical armor could not stop the obsidian blade.

Fresh blood flowed continuously into the blood drinkers, who greedily sucked their master's blood.

The dark elf was surprised once again. How was this human still standing there? Even a Space Marine would have fallen after those dozen or so blows from her.

Unbeknownst to the Dark Elves, a powerful force was flowing from the Blood Drinker into Russell's body, which was why he remained sturdy.

Another factor was Russell's massive muscles. While these powerful muscles couldn't stop the Obsidian Blade, they made it difficult for the Dark Elves to gauge the situation.

A surge of frenzied fighting spirit welled up within him, and Russell unconsciously let out a heart-stirring roar before charging towards the dark elves.

The dark elf swiftly dodged, then stabbed Russell in the back with a dagger. The intense pain caused Russell to roar in anger once more. He turned around furiously and swung his two weapons at the dark elf.

The dark elf dodged again, brandishing his dagger and stabbing it into Russell's chest, but thankfully it didn't hit his heart.

Russell's powerless rage did not make him any stronger; if he continued like this, he would only face certain death.

After being stabbed in the chest, Russell collapsed to his knees before the dark elf like a punctured balloon, his Blood Drinker and Power Axe falling to the ground.

The dark elf beside Russell smiled coldly, one hand grabbing Russell's short hair, the obsidian blade placed against his neck.

"With just a flick of my wrist, your head will be gone!" the dark elf sneered.

Russell sighed and said, "What are you hesitating for? Take action."

Just as the dark elf was about to make a move, a laser beam shot towards her.

The dark elf tilted its head to avoid him.

Russell suddenly sprang into action, using all his strength to charge at the dark elf, and activated "Soul of the Serpent".

With a loud thud, the dark elf was sent flying, the obsidian blade deeply embedded in Russell's shoulder, with only the hilt protruding.

This was a fight to the death, and the weakened Russell was unable to unleash the full power of the Serpent's Soul.

Even so, the dark elf was still knocked unconscious.

Kayans, along with the Kadian warriors, quickly surrounded the unconscious dark elf.

"Don't touch her, let me kill her!" Russell roared hoarsely.

After saying this, he struggled to pick up the Blood Drinker from the ground, stood up shakily, and walked towards the unconscious dark elf.

Everyone scattered, stunned by Russell's current state; he was covered in blood, with over a dozen wounds still bleeding profusely.

Russell showed no mercy to the cruel black bean sprout, raising the Blood Drinker and severing her head in one swift motion.

He himself collapsed to the ground.

"Quick, first aid kit!" Kayans roared, and several Cardian began to frantically bandage Russell's wounds and apply medicine.

"My lord, the enemy is coming again!" a Kadian warrior exclaimed.

Kayans looked up and felt utterly despondent. Russell had fought to the death against just one dark elf, and now there were probably dozens of them. It seemed they were all going to die here today.

Since death was inevitable anyway, Kayans was going all out and roared: For the Emperor!
